[/s] chameleon. You see how this Afonja changed the topic. Why would someone with a brain think an Igbo man would be so foolish to enter the obas palace and steal the mace or destroy buildings during end Sars? Hope you are not suffering from ancestral curse?
Fahdiga: Why is it always hard for this terrorist head slammers to understand a simple fact. the said schools have Christian heritage and they have made their law clear for all. if you are not comfortable with it you go to Islamic schools where suicide bombing are taught. is that hard to understand
ijawcitizen: Igno, igbo, igno-igbo, ignorant igbo man. Ijaw is not fighting anybody in the Niger Delta over land. It has never happened and it will not happen.
Only an irredeemably stupid person concerns himself with other people's minor family quarrels when his own house is on fire.
There is no communal clash in the entire multiethnic Niger Delta region, yet all of these below are happening in igno-Igboland as we speak; lets forget about those that happened last year or few years ago, ALL OF THESE HAPPENED THIS YEAR ALONE!!!
He behaves exactly like nnamdi kanu or should I say all of them from abia have that traits in them.
Abaribe should first criticize abia for bad governance but No he will rush to criticize another state govt forgetting there are too many logs in his eyes.
Smart adeyemi only gave him the right reply.
Same as kanu the said freedom fighter who can't fight for his people's political freedom but will go to another state to declare no election
wellmax: Go and make your noise in Nnewi, leave us with our problems. Go and face yours. Onye developers while your home front is in ruins. Never seen a more confused people.
EXOUSIAng: You mean the one that gave the west the free education? the one that never ran away at the sound of a gunshot? the one that is still being celebrated years after his death? If Awolowo is the definition of coward.. I WANNA BE A COWARD
EXOUSIAng: Has he ever led a protest or rally?? even when he was here in the country.. any idiot can set up an online radio... I heard the coward is even next in line for the throne.. coward abandoned his kingdom out of fear.. shame... shame... shame.. shame
EXOUSIAng: All he does is broadcast... hiding in caves and spewing trash. he is a coward.... He doesn't even have the balls to organize a rally with the Biafrans where he is hiding... he is just a mad dog barking around radio stations with his tail between his legs...
Iegendhero: What is his motive for setting up radio Biafra in Lagos?
To educate the Igbos in Lagos? Can you allow the Fulanis to create their own radio station in the SE and disseminate info for themselves using the radio channels and not act ?
We are two different entity with different desires and agenda as a tribe. Everyman should respect their host and stop trespassing and intruding into other people space.
Why Lagos? Soon he will graduate from Lagos to other SW states if unchecked.
oga there's no motive abeg .you are of less importance to us. stop attaching it to yourselves . you dont understand igbo so hows the radio your problem when fulanis are killing your people
zakim: Founder of the Movement for the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, has alleged that the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, is allowing himself to be used by create problems in Igboland.
Uwazuruike said the idea behind the agitation for an independent state of Biafra was to use a non-violent means, regretting, however, that this noble idea had been hijacked by those he recruited into the movement.
Speaking at a world press briefing in his house in Owerri, Imo State capital, on Monday, Uwazuruike, who also leads the Biafran Independent Movement (BIM), said he feels disturbed each time there are killings in Igboland.
He blamed this on the activities of IPOB while expressing regrets that Kanu “and his cohorts have turned Igboland into a battle ground where daily killing have become a common place”.
He said the IPOB leader does not have regard for Igbo leaders, whom he abuses with “reckless abandon”.
He asked South East governors to take over the Eastern Security Network (ESN) because the organisation is being abused by those behind it.
He said, “When we started out on this movement, our purpose was to pursue this issue of Biafra through non-violence means, but along the line, politicians stepped in by sponsoring some for their own selfish interest to cause mayhem.
“We feel disturbed because people have called us continuously to ask what is happening. Today many people are being killed in Igboland not by herdsmen but by ourselves because if you invite the military into Igboland, they kill nobody but Ndigbo.
“At the end of the day, we are the people being killed. I started all these, I recruited all these people. I want to say that at no point will Ndigbo go to war with with any other part of Nigeria. We have reached a stage where it is no longer possible to fight in Nigeria.
“I call on South East governors to take over the activities of ESN before they cause more harm to the region.
“South East must not be a theatre of war because of the activities of few individuals. We must recognise our leaders. We cannot allow anarchy to prevail.”
He congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma for the way he handled the crisis in Orlu.
They should move their radio station to their region for heaven sake or better still make it online and continue to engage their fans.
Just as we wouldn’t allow the Hausas to have a radio station broadcasting in their language and their own agenda is the same reason why we shouldn’t allow the Igbos broadcasting about their own agenda in our space.
Respect is needed when interacting with one another. Why can’t Kanu just do his thing and stop trying to drag the Yorubas into his activities?
how is he dragging yoruba people for fvcks sake.......are you seriously kidding me?
ijawcitizen: Sitting in silence and observing was the mistake our fathers did in 1967 when they thought you igbos were at war with the North. Never again!
They can never create but destroy. When Opay and Taxify and the rest were creating jobs for people, all they did was to shut them down because it wasn't favouring them. Now they want to start collecting taxes on top of the taxes already being paid to the local and state government. I understand it's your land and you can do as you please but use your sense, if you don't want igbo people to do business then tell Sunday Ighodo to declare Oduduwa so we can all head back to the east. Iyaloja no be work. She should go and find something reasonable and do with her life.

Fake and minor faction coming out at last to stylishly refute this below by the ORIGINAL and REAL Ohaneze.

OHANAEZE NDIGBO DISWONS IPOB
Ohanaeze Ndigbo General Assembly Worldwide, the apex Igbo socio-cultural group in Nigeria, representing all Igbo communities in and outside Nigeria, rising from deep, due and diligent reflections on the socio-political and economic state of affairs in Nigeria, our country, avowedly, superlatively and supremely make this declaration at this point of the nation’s need, that we are the apex representatives of the Igbo ethnic group of Nigeria at home and in Diaspora without any contestation from any other group whether known or unknown, familiar or alien, in existence or nonexistence;
That we, in strong terms, condemn the nefarious acts, plans and movements of the proscribed Nnamdi Kanu-led Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) which has since formation ingloriously cast the Igbo people of Nigeria in bad light. Without mincing words, we have over the time observed the rude, repulsive and discourteous style with which IPOB has arranged and orchestrated its affairs in the name of Igbo ethnicity, something very foreign to known civilization as respectable people.
It is a well-known fact that Ndigbo being one of the advanced societies of Nigeria is gifted with tweaks of refinement against barbarism, good taste against acidity and morally admirable principles against vile and violence, therefore, the Igbo has always been looked upon as one of the most receiving societies of man’s society anthropologically
That with remorse and pang of guilt, we regret that Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB have won the average Igbo man anywhere and everywhere, a national and international nest of enmity, hostility and aggression, visiting us with unfathomable, indefinable and bottomless abhorrence, the magnitude of what remains unseen in our entire history of consciousness.
As a people once united in love, we are today left on the speculation of our survival which now exists in uncertainty wherever we are found as Ndi Igbo.
To this end, we invite every “Nwafor-Igbo” to committedly join us in the total fight and condemnation of IPOB and accompanying violent acts in the name of Igbo which has brought our ethnicity down to nothing but unmitigated shame and infamy.
It is sad that we, the Ohaneze Ndigbo have fallen in deep loss as to why and when a coeval of educated, civil and enlightened Igbo suddenly passed away to give room to the generational gap of youths on which the present crop now exists, selling deaths and other forms of danger perceived and artificially manufactured enemies of Igbo.
Our race is now endangered by the wild and undomesticated influence of Nnamdi Kanu and his political supporters in the name of Igbo nationalism. Why able bodied youths and men who should be concerned about the success of themselves and their people will swing into destruction of lives of their people and properties in our sacrosanct Igbo name, is indeed a mystery and the harm already done us is growing in leaps and bounds.
Whereas Nnamdi Kanu recently directed his usual desperate overkill to our Anioma brothers in faraway Delta State, calling them fools over what he termed denials of their Igbo identity, he assumes the biggest reason for the near disintegration of the Igbo race and nationality that warrants the Anioma, Ikwerre, Onitsha and others to deny their Igboness, the pride of which is now becoming more corrosive in them.
As we, the Igbo ceaselessly count our losses in the hands of untamed Nnamdi Kanu and fellow instigated miscreants, we shall not fail to condemn the recent Enugu incident in which IPOB is alleged to have attacked and sent to early graves, several people including two DSS officers whose patrol team was on duty.
The August 23, 2020 unprovoked violent attacks on the DSS personnel in Emene, Enugu State is not only disturbing to us as members of Ohanaeze Ndigbo but clearly demonstrates further signs of bad times ahead for every legitimate Igbo son and daughter in and outside the country since IPOB wrongly goes in the name of Igbo.
Additionally, we raise the alarm that if IPOB is not stopped, a time will come when Igbo patriotism will completely corrode and our people will begin to jettison their Igbo surnames to feel free from viral bad image. We sound this alarm to our Igbo community especially our particular people who have had to keep clapping for the already outlawed Group, to understand that the implication of the acts of IPOB are rife with unexpected implications.
With melee and gunfire from IPOB filling the air and flowing blood every now and then, the time is coming when we may be forced to flee from our ancestral homeland by the violent IPOB.
Politically, we are worried that unless we come together to address the present IPOB situation, election into the exalted Presidential position of the nation may elude us yet again. As 2023 draws near, we stand on the age-long international relations mantra that seeks to illuminate that power is taken, not handed. This requires us to open our arms to others within and outside the country; and to also submit ourselves to a good relationship and connection with other nationalities in the larger Nigeria.
Consequently, we, the members of Ohaneze Ndigbo General Assembly Worldwide, urge the nation’s security outfit to carry out a full-scale investigation into the incident and also put all measures in place to ensure that the killers of the DSS personnel and others who lost their lives in the dastardly act are speedily brought to book.
We pray for the repose of the souls of the military personnel and others who died in the incident and also condole with their families.
Because no peace for the wicked. And no peace for the people that sees themselves as animals, hence calling our darling nation a zoo. As long as they pray for sorrow, tears and blood for this nation, it will never depart from their lives. Same goes for Boko haram, their fellow terrorist organization.
agwom: Seven personnel of Nigerian Air Force who lost their lives in Sunday’s plane crash have been laid to rest.
They were buried at the National Military Cemetery, Lugbe, Airport Road, in the Federal Capital Territory, on Thursday morning.
Family members and friends of the deceased officers, including serving female military personnel, broke down in tears during the funeral.
The victims are the Captain, Flight Lieutenant Haruna Gadzama; Flight Lieutenant Henry Piyo (Co-Pilot); Flying Officer Micheal Okpara (Airborne Tactical Observation System Specialist) and Warrant Officer Bassey Etim (ATOS Specialist).
Others are: Flight Sergeant Olasunkanmi Olawunmi (ATOS Specialist); Sergeant Ugochukwu Oluka (ATOS Specialist) and Aircraftman Adewale Johnson (Onboard Technician).

According to her, only him has been taking care of the entire family members, particularly their aged mother.
She said the victim left behind three children, including a one-year old son.
She recalled that only two persons were shortlisted by the Nigerian Air Force in the entire Ekiti State when Olawunmi joined the military in 2001.
Mrs Sola added that the victim recently complained of how the officers were being treated, promising to resign soon.
The Beechcraft King Air B350i in which the victims were flying crashed while en route to Minna to conduct Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance missions in connection with the rescue of the 42 students and staff abducted from the Government Science College, Kagara, Niger State.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal, Oladayo Amao; the minister of Information and Culture, Alh. Lai Mohammed and many other top government functionaries were in attendance.
chinchonglee: Please give them back their guns... That is a normal hunter gun that every hunter has in the east.

agwom: Professor Ibrahim Gambari, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, international relations guru and bureaucrat does not think we should wait for historians to do the assessment of the Buhari administration in the international arena given the limitations of the focus of many of them. “Now is the time to do it,” he insists.
We agree with many of the historians that the pursuit of closer foreign economic relations is no longer an option and the important need for an upward trajectory in bilateral relationship, first in our own neighbourhood and then in the world are key. This is what necessitated a whirlwind of visits around the world in the president’s first term.
Although these trips themselves became objects of controversy around the country, these engagements have given an image boost to Nigeria all around the world.
But while the historians and international relations scholars have given a significant part of their attention to the government’s efforts in rebuilding connectivity in our immediate and extended geographies and global engagements that have been spiced with Nigeria’s economic priorities, little attention was paid to the important undertaking of making Nigeria a global human resource powerhouse.
There is no doubt that there is so much that has been achieved in conventional international relations in the six years of the administration.
Africa remains the centrepiece of our foreign relations. Friendship and cooperation have replaced rivalry with big and small nations on the continent. The United Kingdom remains our most strategic partner. Despite the four convulsive years of the Trump presidency and its “America First” ideology, bilateral relations between our two nations have miraculously survived, intact. We have resumed an upward trajectory in relations with Germany, France, Turkey, Italy, Japan, India and Pakistan. With the coming of the Buhari administration, Nigeria has cemented relations with Russia and achieved a comprehensive partnership with China. Nigeria is warmly embraced by the Arab States and Iran.
However, despite the rising political profile of the country, losses have been suffered, as did other nations following the coronavirus pandemic, which for Nigeria, were accentuated by the fight against terrorism, Boko Haram and other threats to her security. Without doubt, the war against terror had limited Nigeria’s diplomacy to the extent that her external visibility in global and continental organisations was reduced to mere attendance of meetings related to such organisations only.
Two international events that shaped Nigeria’s path to progressive diplomacy are largely attributable to Mr. President’s personality and character. His post-inaugural visitations to our neighbouring countries of Chad, Niger and Benin Republics as well as Cameroon in 2015, led to the re-constitution of the Multinational Joint Task Force of the Lake Chad Basin Commission and the expansion of its mandate to fight insecurity in the sub-region more concertedly. Prior to the election of 2015 in Nigeria, there was a stalemate in moving ahead but President Buhari’s victory in that year’s election, sufficiently diffused the stalemate and permitted Nigeria’s leadership of the MNJTF, which had previously been resisted, based on mistrust by some member-states of LCBC. The other event was the AfDB election in 2015. President Buhari’s strong support for the nomination by his predecessor in office of Dr. Akinwumi Adesina and campaigns for him, ultimately assured his victory.
Regrettably, Nigeria could not consolidate on these initial diplomatic successes. In 2016, Nigeria’s attempt to clinch the prestigious position of Commissioner for Peace and Security of the African Union was a disaster as her candidate was comprehensively defeated, despite mounting very elaborate campaign efforts.
At the United Nations level on the other hand, Nigeria’s diplomacy continues to offer some hope. When former Secretary General Ban Ki-moon’s term ended and a new secretary-general was elected, he looked in the direction of Nigeria to choose a deputy and our Amina Mohammed, a former Minister of Environment, became the darling of the foremost global institution.
At the 74th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in 2019, Nigeria’s Permanent Representative at the UN, Professor Tijjani Mohammed Bande, was unanimously elected as the president of the assembly. It was a defining moment for the UN as the world was soon afflicted by a pandemic, COVID-19. The impact of this pandemic on the world has been comprehensive and the dysfunctionality of the world was near complete. But the UN meetings dramatically continued through virtual sessions, ensuring that the global body remained relevant in the lives of humankind. The innovation was miraculous and Nigeria’s Professor Bande, as Permanent Representative and President of the General Assembly, who led these efforts, was appreciated for the roles he played in the world body and deservedly received the recognition and acknowledgement by the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres as the “miracle of 2020.”
The re-election of Dr. Akinwuni Adesina as AfDB President in 2020 faced more herculean task as a superpower was bent on preventing his re-election. Despite pressure on President Buhari to replace him, Mr. President instead, reinforced his faith and commitment in Dr. Adesina’s candidacy and reached out to world leaders to canvas support. Mr. President’s adroit diplomacy paid off as Dr. Adesina had a landslide victory.
Nigeria’s progressive diplomatic leg-works within ECOWAS, first through support for the complicated peace process in Mali, to logistics support for practically all elections in the sub-region, to coordinating and providing leadership for good governance, accountability and the fight against corruption as well as managing efforts to contain the catastrophic consequences of COVID-19, earned Mr. President and Nigeria recognition, respect and appreciation. When Nigeria expressed interest in fielding a candidate for the position of Commissioner for Political Affairs, Peace and Security of the African Union, Nigeria’s adroit diplomacy came to play once again, when all ECOWAS countries stepped down for Nigeria’s candidate, who obtained the support of ALL the African Union member-countries to clinch the position on 6th February, 2021.
Building on this foreign policy momentum, Nigeria made waves with the nomination of former Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as World Trade Organisation (WTO) Director-General. The switch of candidates by Nigeria was seen as a master-stroke that finally paid off a few days ago, when she got the endorsement to be the first African and first lady to head the organisation.
The lesson in the rebound of Nigeria’s diplomacy lies in two great attributes. Respect and recognition for the nation’s leader and the determination to always present one of our best. President Buhari is deeply respected within the sub-region and the rest of Africa. He is measured in speaking but firm on his positions. He throws his weight around causes he deeply believes in and his brother-presidents cherish that. But, in all cases, the presentation of very good candidates is easier to sell as in the cases that have been referenced. Nigeria must keep the momentum and prioritise its global engagements for maximum benefits to Nigerians, Nigeria and Africa at large.
