Politics › Re: Ikonso: Nnamdi Kanu And The End Of ESN by meccuno: 8:39am On Apr 25, 2021
[s]
AbaLion:
The killing of ESN Commander in the heart of the operational base of ESN in Imo has not only exposed the tactical weakness of ESN Operatives but also the tactical daftness of Nnamdi Kanu as a leader.

The theatre of ESN which is supposed to be impenetrable given how sensitive as the operational and tactical base of the zone, was torn down by Nigeria security forces and the Commander, Ikonso shot down to his boxer with his charmed vest hanging helplessly around his neck.
If your most fortified camp could be broken down fairly easily, then you are Finished!

The Nigerian security are henceforth in possession of some sensitive and substantial details of ESN. Raids including gadgets and sensitive materials linkng ESN networking and other top commanders & staffs and operational information would have been obtained. There's no way a top commander, much less a deputy to Kanu wouldn't have some top secret details in his possession. Everything is now pretty much in the hands of Nigeria Army.

The reason why Nigeria security forces have been having tougher times defeating Bokoharam, Bandits & fulani herdmen is because their operational camps have never been penetrated by the security agencies. What we do witness are occassional random arrests of terrorists & bandits with little or nothing to show.

Going into a terrorist camp is a fight to finish as the case of Idris Deby paying the ultimate price. ESN do not have what it takes to defend its most fortified territory. Although, they could throw back some few punches but would later buck even before the fight began.

A closer look at the arms and ammunition recovered from Ikonso's camp shows the unpreparedness and scantily stocked the so called ESN, other than an empty barrel. With those little stock of arms, they hardly could go a 6 hour shooting spree with the the security agencies. Compare with the fully armed bandits hobnobbing with Gumi, whose ammunition were displayed with intent. Notwithstanding, the full gallery of their arms & ammunition. They have easy access from Libya, Chad, Mali, Niger through the border.

What access do ESN has? the access to attack random road blocks police officers, get them killed and disposses them of their weapons, at most an organized attacks on police stations where large cache of arms were stolen for more attacks. They are landlocked, they are holed up without the privilege of access like the North, the West or their close neighbors, SS. Little wonder, Nnamdi Kanu was so particular about dismantling all road blocks in the South East so that as much arms would come in so easily and unfettered.

With the Nigerian Army in possession of what would further nail IPOB/ESN in the international community, I expect that British Government and her EU allies will revoke the asylum consideration and may likely align with the Federal Government's proscription of IPOB in the wake of overwhelming criminal evidences linking IPOB activities to terrorism less than 24hours to an attack on a Governor's house. While his house was set ablaze, cars burnt, more unfortunately, two of his security aides were killed.

The perpetrators could not be far fetched from the statement by another South East Governor, Ikpeazu, who stated that Nnamdi Kanu had declared death sentence on All the Governors in the South East.

Nnamdi Kanu has been having a handshake across the Ambazonia region of Southern Cameroon from whence he has been getting handouts on how to carry out series of organized violent attacks on Government institutions. Being a man with much words and very little wisdom, he has no political support which creates a wide gulf from his Ambazonia counterpart, who has the support of the socio-political class.
Nnamdi Kanu would be rat out from his hole because of his vile vituperations, wild imaginations, and tactless misgivings.

If his foot soldiers could penetrate a Governors house, I think Kanu could have made the most of it by deploying intellectual sagacity rather than being a blood thirsty & destructive beast. The absence and otherwise lack of a think-tank among Ipob's hierarchy complements Kanu and his goons as a money hungry cult.

Following this ugly development, it's high time Ohaneze Ndigbo and Elders crawled out with their red caps and walking sticks to make a loud plea to tie down their recalcitrant ipob kids to a chain and passionately disown Kanu with their full chest, otherwise the righteous dwellers might suffer from the impending consequences.

Rosskiiku:
You people calling for break up of the country because of 'Fulani people' are not thinking straight.

Since when did Fulani become so all-powerful that Nigeria must break up because of them?

Why?

How?

All it takes is for Buhari's tenure to end at the next elections, to be replaced by a southerner, possibly an Igbo man, and the so-called almighty power of the Fulani is HISTORY.

So what is all this nonsense?

When PDP were in power, what did Fulanis do? Nothing. The power was all over the country.

The south wielded heavy power.

Controlled billions of dollars in oil earnings.

Controlled the military.

For 16 years.

So what is all this Fulani this, Fulani that, today?

Meanwhile, the Buhari experience will only make Nigerians more reluctant to vote in a Fulani president in future, so the democratic process will intervene to correct itself.

By the time another Fulani is elected president, say in 12 years time, the country would have been significantly restructured and arranged in a way that no president can alter it, whatever ethnicity he belongs to.

Plus, an objective person will admit that it has not been all bad with THIS Fulani president. He has done well in infrastructure.

Every cloud has a silver lining.

So, why can't you wait for elections to effect change?

A mere 1 and half year's time away.

Organise for change at the next elections.

We're a democracy.

No need to break up this African giant.

Sir Nnamdi Kanu, Good morning Sir. I am a nice man with a wise heart, and I love peace. Please I have this to tell you Sir. Please what is the development plan you have for the East? If you have development plan for the East, why not start it now so that the East will be refreshed. I know you have seen some things you don't like in Nigeria and God still loves Nigeria, and I know you want good security for the East, but I have not yet seen your other development plan executed in the East. What I mean about development plan includes: Food production or farming system for the East, Waste disposal system, Employment system, road network system, water flow/gutter system/erosion control system, electricity system, pipeborne water system, estate management/building system, road transport system, politeness system, tout or thug management system, crime management system. I truly know these task are not child's play, but please Sir, you can start little by little. I believe it is better to start early. God bless Nnamdi Kanu. God bless everyone. God bless Nigerians. God bless Nigeria.

I completely agree with you. Nigeria as a country is rigged to fail. We can never enjoy good governance because we might never get the best hands to lead us. We may never get the best hands to lead us because one clan or region decides it is their turn to loot and they fix the most illiterate and incompetent people in sensitive positions. If Nigeria doesn't break up peacefully, it'll eventually break violently. If something hasn't worked for 61 years, its only foolish to continue trying to make it work. Except you are gaining something out of the broken system. This is why some "patrotic nigerians" are hell bent on making the mess called Nigeria continue.

You are a fo.ol and a very useless one. I wouldn't have even responded to you idio.tic bas.tard. but I will. Because you are so dvmb upstairs you have nothing to offer. Nnamdi Azikiwe was a ceremonial president in a parliamentary system of government that holds no power. The prime minister does. Tafawa Balewa. So he has no authority to create a constitution all by himself even the president now cannot do that with all the power he has. Yes Igbos have their own issues which is a problem to them and not to you. We have every right to complain when things don't go our own way because this is a federation and not a fuedal empire run by a master and a slave. The present constitution has nothing to do with Nnamdi Azikiwe who died 1996 and was ceremonial president 1960. The constitution was written by the Military of Abdusalami Abubakar in favour of the North. Now check and reason if you have a Brain if you are the fo.ol or not. NO ALTERNATIVE TO NATIONAL UNITY

Being a text of speech by Abdulrazaq Hamzat, able represented by Oyo State Alumni Chairman,Mr Sunday Oyebami at Convention of Congress of NOUN Students in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Greetings

This is to specially apologize to you all for not making it to the program as earlier planned.

My absence at the program was due to situation beyond my control, as I was recently involved in a small accident.

The victim is currently undergoing surgery at the hospital and it is impossible to travel, leaving the victim in that condition.

Kindly accept my sincere apology.

However, let me say that, I am very happy about the progress of the Congress of NOUN Students and I encourage you all to be better than those before you.

You should strive to be the best practice that others should emulate, not the other way round.

You should have mentors, those you revere and look up to as references to learn from, but don't be a dogmatic follower.

Actually, don't be a follower at all. Even if you are following a leader, also learn to lead from behind.

Leadership is all about responsibility and being sensitive. You can be a leader even if you have no leadership position.

I must also inform you that the information getting to me about some of you is very encouraging, especially those of you who are great patriot of national unity.

You should know that those who stand for national unity are the best over those who are calling for segregation, regionalism and tribalism.

To my understanding, the idea behind the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is to raise Nigerians that would think beyond regionalism. That is why the name of the institution started with the word, ‘’ NATIONAL’’.

Those who named the school could have called the institution, ‘’Open University of Nigeria’’, but they didn’t for a purpose.

They resolved to put the word national in the front to emphasize the importance of thinking beyond tribal or regional consideration.

While the aim of NOUN is to have centers in all
communities across the country to ensure no one is left out of access to quality education, it also provides enabling platform for students
to move around the country without any restriction in term of access to higher education.

This is why we must specially thank the former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who was also a former student of this school.

For me, there's no alternative to national unity and I want you to make that resolve also.

Whenever they say divide, you should say unite. When they say war, you should say peace.

Finally, let me submit that there is a very thin line between individualism, tribalism, regionalism and nationalism.

And that thin line is cynicism.

I don’t know if there is any study that has
established this as a fact, but from my careful observation so far, I have come to the conclusion that the only difference between
individualism, tribalism, regionalism and nationalism is cynicism.

Individualism is about me and me alone. Every action taken is geared toward personal benefits.

This is not really a bad idea if it is not done at the detriment of others, but unfortunately, the great Nelson Mandela once opined that, nothing about ‘’I’’ can be for the interest of
all.

Those who think deeply were able to see beyond ‘’I’’ to tribe.

So, they become tribalist, not just to protect their own personal interest, but their own tribal interest.

Tribalism is when someone only advocates for the interest of his tribe. But, while this may not be a bad idea on it own if is not done at the detriment of other tribes, but unfortunately, this is the case.

I am of the view that, nothing can be about ‘’my’’ and be for ‘’all’’.

Again, having realized the shallowness and limitation of the tribal concept, those who also think deeply were able to see beyond tribe to
region, so they become regionalist, not just to protect their own tribal interest, but to protect the interest of all tribes in their
region.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have said it repeatedly also that regionalism is not entirely a bad concept, if it is not done at the detriment of
others, but unfortunately, this is also the case.

I have therefore been asking, why limit our grace of brotherhood and sisterhood, if we can actually expand and accommodate all?

Just a little deep thinking and reflection would reveal to us that we can do much better than our fore fathers and those who had a little more deep thinking and reflection were able to see beyond their shallow regional interest, so they embraced nationalism. Just so you know, nationalism is when you factor in the interest of all Nigerians, irrespective of tribe, region and region. It is a situation in which you do not place your regional interest above the interest of others, neither should you abandon it, but instead, you place them side by side for joint
problem solving.

While you understand that your regional interest matters, you know also that it doesn’t matter more than those of others.

So, in choosing who lead and how resources are allocated, you factor in the capacity of all those involved and entrust the mandate to only those who have the capacity to purposefully handle the interest of all on the basis of priority, importance, value and sincerity.

This is what we need in this country because; you can’t build peace in a multi tribal and multi religious country likes ours without being
national. People would often react to perceived unfair policies and distribution of scarce resources.

So therefore my dear colleagues, let
us all ‘’be national’’to move Nigeria forward.

Thanks

Politics › Re: Those Funding IPOB And Nnamdi Kanu Are Enemies Of Ndigbo by meccuno: 10:14pm On Apr 16, 2021
[s]
mekaboy:
Those contributing daily, weekly or monthly to Nnamdi Kanu's business venture(IPOB) are enemies of ndigbo.

They believe they are contributing to the development of igbos, but the reverse is the case. He has fed them with lies of an imaginary biafra coming soon and they believe. The same trump he deceived to support for Biafra to come, never mentioned Biafra for one day, until he was kicked out.

They say history will always repeat itself. Just like igbos went to war with Nigeria, counting on the partnership of the yorubas. They were shocked and disappointed. The moment they war started, the yorubas took over the management of all foreign companies that were established by the british.

Finally igbos did not get Biafra, lost everything and were given peanuts to start again. If Ojuwku had seen the end, he would have reconsidered his decision.

I would not blame ojukwu, because what he did was solely out of his desire to save his people. But still the outcome was regrettable.

Today history is about to repeat itself a way worse than the civil war. The worst case is that it is a fraudster that wants to lead the entire igbo race to destruction.

Here are 3 ways Kanu will destroy igboland.

1 )Igbo investments in the North.

No doubt, 99% of igbo millionaires / billionaires that sprung up after the war, became rich in the North. Some even became rich by contracts facilitated by friends they had in the North. Even after the war, the relationship between igbos and northerners grew stronger.

Kanu who has never created a business or built anything from scratch, does not know what it means to build a successful business. He has lost both parents to make it worse. For his selfish interest, he does not mind igbos loosing everything the have laboured for in the north.

2) Political Isolation.

As 2023 approaches, every considerate Nigerian knows that if power should shift to the south, Igbos should be given a chance. But this cant be achieved without the north. The relationship between igbos and the northerners is already active. All that needs to be done is to capitalise on it to get the norths support.

Kanu is trying to differentiate between the hausas and Fulanis. Claiming he likes hausas and hates Fulanis. But as far as the north is concerned they are inseparable. So an enemy of the fulani is an enemy of the north. Just like he told his followers to burn their voters card, and not vote. That if they refuse to vote, Biafra will come. Already most of his followers have no interest in Nigerian elections, because he told them Biafra is coming.

FFK fani kayode, as usual gives him support to create enemity with the north. While he is foolishly making enemies with the North, FFK is playing to ensure the yorubas produce the next president. So while kanu is telling his followers to burn voters cards and not vote. FFK is ready to work with the next yoruba candidate for APC.

At the end of the day, Igbos are seen as the enemy, they loose the chance to produce the next president.

3) Anachy and destruction of igboland.

So while igbos loose economically, by loosing investment in the north. They also loose politically by not producing president.

The touts and hoodlums who kanu has promised different ranks in the imaginary biafra begin to cause havoc in the east. With the arms they have acquired, they begin to kill, kidnap and demand for taxew from every business person. The security agencies headed by northerners will turn a blind eye to what is going on in the east. Igbos will leave the north, those in the east will be terrorised and run away from the east. At the end of the day, government fails in the east and Igboland becomes desolate.

Even the north with a northern president is overwhelmed by the insecurity created by their own people. Imagine what the east will be like without any government support.

Biafra we no get, our investments destroyed, presidency we no produce. I wonder how much will be given to each igbo person to start life again this time.

So i urge igbos contributing to kanu and his ESN to see the bigger picture. Kanu is leading igbos to destruction for his personal gains. If kanu truly believes in Biafra, let him denounce his british citizenship for him self and family.

You see, during the Niger delta crisis, the militants used oil as a bargaining tool, they hit Nigeria at the heart, they attacked the oil revenue, Nigeria bleeded and call them to the table.

IPOB has no bargaining chip. This brings me to why IPOB terrorist wants imo states by fire and force, imo state seems to be the only state in the south east with some oil, it contributes about 1.09% of total oil produce in Nigeria, note, this is very insignificant but they think if they can create choas in the land, then they will get access to the oil well in that state.

Now, this is a very dumb approach, that is because the oil is insignificant and wont affect Nigeria even if pipelines are bombed 24 hours a day.

Mr Kanu the terrorist knows he has no bargaining chip, no wonder, he spends his time looking to partner and support any groups within and outside Nigeria that wants Nigeria break up.

He believes the more partnerships he creates with other tribes looking to break out of Nigeria, the more choas they create together.
