Your background image is seriously interfering with the text on the page. Remember that the people who come to your site are not really interested in reading long long messages. So you need to cut down on the text.

Your gallery page seems to be going somewhere else: Fix that.

A plain background may do justice to your design, and improve its aesthetics... perhaps you are not familiar with CMSs like Wordpress or Joomla? they make designing much easier and you avoid broken links like your gallery page! Cheers, i hope i helped!

First, what sort of website was it? Did the web master build it using CSS/HTML Or did the webmaster use a CMS. In both Scenarios, what were the proovable security measures that were built into the website by the webmaster

In my opinion, the website owner will most likely not know anything about website security and once the cpanel details have been handed to them, all they do is keep it in their mail somewhere!

The webmaster is responsible for the security of the website he built no matter how much was paid to him to build it. What he can do is offer to recover the website at no cost or if he cannot do it, find someone who can!

I don't see any way in which the website owner would agree to pay for a hacked site recovery! My thoughts!

Unfortunately, trying to spot the problem by comparing the source code will almost be impossible! What you will have to do is really look hard at your theme options, or get insights from the theme owners themselves

Hello Alfos, I don't think the issue is with permalinks! My best guess is that you haven't tweaked all the available options of the theme you are using. If you have tweaked all the options and still don't get your desired layout, then its either your theme is incomplete (probably lacking some shortcode funtionality) or that it needs some other specific plugin to work!

One of such plugins I have found to work is called options framework!

It may or may not work, it still depends on your theme.

You should read up on the theme features on the themeowners website!

Well, thanks again for this headsup... I have almost 30 websites built with wordpress and I wasted no time improving the security of the very important ones!

Thankfully, the plugin mentioned: better wp security is a real blessing and I utilised a lot of the features!

Ok, lemme simplify! What I mean is if you have a website built with WP, you should strengthen It yourself! The WP community cannot help you do it! If however you don't know how to go about it then, I could help you out!

Hmmm, really?? I think differently though!

Maybe if the number of graduates wasn't soooo ernomous, the idea might work and companies might actually go there to search! But as it is, the graduates are too many, and they are the ones having to send their own info on sites like jobberman and jobfinder!

But the idea also brings another idea to mind! Maybe a list of skills possessed by individuals will make more sense! So that skilled people can easily find freelance jobs and can be easily found.

SMF, phpBB, Vanilla. And if you are familiar with Wordpress, wordpress also has some impressive forum plugins....

Mr moderatorr, can I see a few of the projects you have worked on?

I'm having one at the moment! I have a project where a web developer is working for me! And he promised heaven on earth before we started... Now he's not picking calls, he has only shown one lousy screenshot of the work done so far!

The project is due in two days and that's all I have to show for all the money I've paid him so far!

Why are developers so royally unreliable?? That's the 3rd developer on same project by the way! Lesson learned: if you must give a native a web development job pay him after he's done the job to the end! He won't die, and your work will be done!

Err, the wordpress community can only do so much! You have to strenghten your sites yourself! There are over 60 million wp sites on the web so you can imagine if they were to help anyone!

Curiously, Both Views are quite right. However, a closer look at the trend will suggest to the discerning that the next dimension is gonna be internet advertising. abd with the new Nigerian companies venturing into adverts serving it really would slamm the prices for advertising down.
