Yes, delivery was fast. However, I STRONGLY advise you to send your Passport to VFS Abuja. The DHL Officer will ask if you want Abuja or Lagos.

2. You can submit your passport at any DHL office. I submitted mine at their office in Ikeja GRA.

Hello Ma'am, I think you didn't get my point.
Yes, all Mpower loan will be disbursed to the school, and the school will remove their tuition. They are obligated to give the student the remaining balance... There's nothing like a school partnering with Mpower but they can't release the living expenses, if the applicant got an approved loan that is more than the tuition costs...
For example, if you got a $20,000 loan approval, and your tuition is $15,000, there is nothing like the school won't release the remaining $5,000 to you.

In your case, if you requested for an amount more than your 2 year tuition and got approved, the remaining will be sent to your personal account after you appear in person at the bursar office in your school.

I do attend Mpower seminar online every week, and same question has been asked. The host said, all schools partnering with Mpower support it, and it's part of the things they look into before they finalize partnering with an institutions.

You are correct that any extra money after your tuition is paid/removed will be sent to you.

Any school partnering with Mpower will disburse your living expenses to you when you get there. That's part of the policies and agreement before a school can partner with Mpower. So there's nothing like accepting tuition only and regect the living expenses, unless the application's request loan amount is for tuition only.

Sir, I think @Bobomaigida is right. The MPower officer that handled my request told me that approved loans will be sent directly to my school... I think I read every other thing Bobomaigida said up there either on their website or in one of the documents they sent to me.

I also noticed that MPower gave me the exact amount of my 2 years tuition alone. I used other financial sources for my living expenses and that of my family. In my SOP, I stated that my MPower loan is solely for tuition and it will be disbursed directly to the school.

His Bachelors in Nigeria was Economics. The first Masters in the US was MA in Economics and the second masters is an MBA.

HELP needed!

While doing upfront medicals with IOM as a Student, with my children who would be accompanying me, one of the IOM officers said that my children's upfront medical type would be "worker", not "visitor" i.e if they would be staying with me for more than 6 months. Please may I know who else has experienced this and if you were successful with your visa approval?

I did Upfront Medicals with my son yesterday at IOM and "worker" was also listed on his medical sheet. The lady that attended to me became rude as I was worried that the tag was wrong, because my son will be on Visit Visa.

Her male colleague assured me that the "worker" tag on the sheet was the right thing...and that the only tag for anyone accompanying someone on a Student visa was the "Worker tag." I said even for a 5 year old? He said yes. Since, it's their job, I just have to believe them.
