A plank market on Olakunle Ajibade street, Ojota was burnt to the ground this morning by a fire outbreak. As at the time of this report no reason as been adduced to the fire but people suspect it could have occurred as a result of a power fault in one of the shops.
Residents of the street were woken around 2am by shouts of fire which brought them in their multitudes into the street, they all stood by as the fire continued to unapologetically raze the wares of the plank dealers though minimal efforts were being made by some residents to prevent the fire from extending to neighbouring houses as they tried to douse the fire at its periphery with whatever device they could lay their hands on.
The first responders who were Hausa men were shouting Ligh!t Light! Instead of Fire! Fire! this made some valuable intervention time to be lost as residents did not understand what was going on initially.
The residential buildings could have been affected by the dancing flames if not for the relatively prompt response of the men of the fire service who were on site within 20-30 mins from the onset of the fire. The fire service men battled the fire with all the equipments they had by first dousing the flames that were beginning to extended to other houses but they had to go refill their tanks as they ran out of water supply at a time. They did their best but alas! the wares in the market was gone as many of the business men had just taken in new orders for the month. As some of the dealers stood by to count their losses, others were said to be rushing down to the site. An emotional dealer went into the fire to check what we believed was money kept in his shop but he was quickly pulled out and consoled before he committed suicide.
The residents appreciated the prompt response of the fire service and bravery of its men in smothering the fire outbreak but questions kept arising as to what has been lost. We can authoritatively say that by face value millions of naira is gone with the fire but thankfully no lives were lost.

Following the continued deterioration in the state of healthcare delivery in Ogun State, Doctors in the state under the aegis of NAGGMDP with the support of NMA Ogun state chapter visited the Governors office oke-mosan, Abeokuta to air their views on the health sector to the Governor.
The Governor had for a while been avoiding attending to or meeting with the Doctors as they had made several attempts at meeting with him. In their frustration they saw no other means to communicate with the Governor asides from publicly making their demands. All these is in the bid to avoid unnecessary strike action and unwarranted confrontation.
The doctors are just asking the Governor to extend development being observed in terms of infrastructure, to the state of healthcare delivery in the state.
Several health workers have been dying due to stress, shortage of staff(workers are leaving and not being replaced) and starving due to relative shortage in pay. The People of Ogun State are dying as the needed tools for saving lives are non-existent.
The Governor would do well to pay attention to the doctors demands as all avenues for a peaceful resolution are fast being expended.
The protest has thus far been peaceful under adequate media coverage.......Continue to pray for the people of Ogun state. They demand the best in health care!!!.

Doctors working with Ogun State Government are going to begin an indefinite strike starting from Monday, June 13, 2016.The strike would however be staggered.

This was stated in a press confrence on friday, that was held at the NMA sectariat,abeokuta, ogun state.

The doctors, who are under the aegis of the National Association of Government General Medical and Dental Practitioners, Ogun chapter, said general hospitals in the state lacked basic equipment, adequate drugs and enough health workers.

Chairman of the association, Dr. Oladunni Adetola, said the doctors would be on strike every Monday and Tuesday of every week and this would continue indefinitely unless the state government acceded to their d

He said medical personnel who retired statutorily and those who left for other health institutions had yet to be replaced many years after.

This strike would hold every Monday and Tuesday of every week until they are called to a round table meeting, as several attempts to meet with the governor had been futile.

“Most of our hospitals have less than half of the personnel they had about seven to eight years back.

“Imagine a general hospital having only a doctor. What is the quality of service expected from such a centre?, the chairman of the association said, this has been because of doctors that have left the service or retired.

“The effect of this is quite glaring in the poor health indices of the state. Arising from emergency general meeting of the association held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, it was resolved that members should commence on a Monday and Tuesday strike every week, starting from June 13, 2016 till the problems are corrected.”

Leaks from the auditions for the part of Kinvara revealed that she believes that Daenerys is AzorAhai, the prince that was promised. On the other hand, Melisandre believes that Jon Snow is the chosen one.

Tyrion and Varys seem to be searching for kinvaras approval and support of Daenerys. Kinvara introduced herself to the two men as the High Priestess of the Red Temple of Volantis. Tyrion appeared to have invited her all the way to Meereen to have her priests convince the Meereenese that Daenerys is their true savior.

Kinvara answered that they did not need to persuade her, because she came to help. She believes that Daenerys is the promised one. She described her dragons as a gift from the Lord of Light. She agreed to help have the people obey the two in Daenerys’ absence. Varys also mentioned Melisandre, who falsely believed that Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) was the promised one.

At the end of the dialogue, the three talked about their common loyalty to the same queen.

“The Door”, will be our first and likely last showcase of the White Walkers for Season 6. Fans shouldn’t be surprised we see the White Walkers this episode, as they are in the trailer, but it does come as a surprise this is our final encounter with them this season. “Uncle Benjen will come to rescue Bran and Meera. He will accompany them to The Wall before departing. Bran will have one more 'flashback' in the finale and we will see what's in the Tower.”

Game of Thrones Season 6 Spoilers: Who Wins The Battle of Winterfell, What Happens in the North?
Last week, for the first time since Season 1, Sansa and Jon Snow were reunited. This event, correctly predicted by truede, was not just finally a happy moment for the Starks, it also served as a jumping off point for the eventual battle of Winterfell. The battle itself has been a mainstay for trailer for this season and we’ve got the alleged scoop of what goes down in the “Bastard Bowl.”

Truede also confirms Rickon will not survive his encounter with Ramsay. He’s not burned alive, as several have predicted, but his fate is sealed with “arrows actually.”

“Sansa will also have a quick meetup with Baelish. Jon and Sansa will eventually team up to try and get their brother back. They have the Wildlings on their side and then travel around and try to recruit more people.

“Sansa ends up meeting Baelish at the town outside Winterfell. Brienne goes with her. Baelish apologizes for allowing her to marry Ramsay. Sansa accuses Baelish of knowing about Ramsay and basically says she doesn't want anything to do with him any more.

“Jon does become King of the North. This is after the teen girl who is head of some house (with like 60 soldiers) speaks up about how she trusts the Starks and was one of the only ones to follow them into battle. Then the other houses speak up and apologize about not following them and they don't care that he is a bastard.

“The recruiting scene is pretty funny as Jon, Sansa and Davos make these great speeches on why she should join them only to find out she has less than 100 men. Don't think Sansa legitimizes Jon but she is agreement that he should be King.

“Jon chooses to imprison Ramsay rather than kill him.

“Jamie is forced to go to Riverrun and retake the castle from The Blackfish for the Freys. Brienne also goes to Riverrun to try and get the Tullys to join up and retake Winterfell. Brienne fails but escapes. Edmure is forced by Jaime to enter Riverrun and give it up since he is the rightful owner. The Blackfish apparently dies in battle but we never actually see it happen.

“Davos will find the little toy or whatever he gave to Shireen. He will confront Melisandre and she will admit to having her burned.”
Theere won't be any fight between clegane the monster knight and his brother(aryas fellow traveller who we all thought might be dead).

“Only one Stark dies this season not including any stark in the past...
Meanwhile "Wun Wun" our big lovely feisty wildling will live through this season meanwhile no more scenes from the relatively boring dorne until the season finale. That's enough for now....u should rather watch the rest....smiles
