How to insert the smart card

1. Put the smart card into your decoder in arrow direction with the chip face down.

2. Do not take out the smart card while your decoder is powered on.

3. Keep the smart card properly and away from any electromagnetic object.

4. The smart card can only work with particular decoder. Do not transfer it to others,
and do not insert it into any other decoder.

5. In case of lost or damage, please contact StarTimes office or StarTimes sales agent
to purchase a new one.

6. The StarTimes Smart card works with only StarTimes products, decoders and Digital TVs.

Startimes is crap with useless channels like MGM,NTA SPORT,REAL STAR,NTA NEWS24,PHOENIX.CCTV,MSNBC,AND OLD 9JA MOVIE CHANNEL E-STAR.mehn startimes is boring,i will advice anyone who wants to buy to quickly change his mind, and it also breaks signal,they added another useless channel yesterday BOLLYWOOD TV.without subtitle.oh i hate startimes i am planning of selling mine, DONT FALL VICTIM TO NTA STARTIMES.

One man's meat is another man poison. So dont conderm startimes they brought a cheap decoder to Nigeria for Nigerins like me and you.

What i expect from you is to tell them how to improve on their channels.

startimes i must tell you, your customer service is too poor. Recharging is one big problem.

pls do something fast before people sees your product as rip off.

U tried to answer my questions with regards to antenna and problem with loading sometimes ago do you i loaded three #1000 and only one was reflected on my account as NOt Subcribed is showing on my system after one month. U may contact me on 08024035984.

If you are loading multiple cards at once i will advice you to check your balance one after the other using BQ#smartcard number# and send to 32020 using your mobile phone. I recommend MTN network to get a prompt response and you will be charge 30 naira for the sms.

Remember load a card and check your balance before loading the second card and the third, using BQ#smartcard number# send to 32020

Always check your balance one after the other.

Architecting and implementing, that i would say i never done before to be honest. but at least i have worked in an environment where such has taken place. and i believe i should be able to design such.

I can only view 17 Channels on my startimes decoder

My startimes decoder display no image on the screen why ?

To all concerned, Startimes Nigeria don't even have a website where an interested person can access information directly. Recharging is another terrible headache. Mos disturbing however is that the said 36 channels is fake. For the past one week i could only access 17 channels even after several searches. NTA must ensure the public, Nigerians are not deceived through them as it were their name is just being used, they dont have any say.  Lets ask questions and do things right.

Yes is true recharging your startimes decoder is problem because the recharge card is hard to get for now. if you need the card call me 08022773445. i hope that is not a problem.

The said 36 channels is real. All you need to do is to reposition your Antenna for better reception. OR you should go and get the recommend Antenna "Yagi Antenna". Make sure you Signal strength is above 50db and signal quality 30db and above. Still having problem call 08022773445 or sattvng.

Your local antenna will equally work fine with the decoder.

To view the listed channels, you need to position your antenna properly. make sure your signal strength is above 50db and your signal quality is above 30db, or go get the recommended antenna " Yagi Antenna " for crispy clear image.
