It seems we have a lot of Aberdeen hopefuls here, I hold an Aberdeen offer as well, but didn't make the scholarship interview stage.

How possible is it to still meet up for 2016 start considering the number of days it takes to secure a visa? NLNG might have a perfect plan though ...

Working together is seriously needed cos for my school(aberdeen), I dont know if its still possible this year. They resumed since first week in September and before the visa processing is done(which takes 15 working days-about three weeks) we'll be leaving late October or early November. I'm kinda confused!

There were 5 panelists. It was quite interactive and they were receptive so I was at ease. They asked questions about my course and future plans amongst other things. All in all, it was an interesting experience.

I think you should all check your junk folders if you haven't done so already. Automated mails tend to get stuck there sometimes. Hopefully that's the case with you guys.

Cranfield was my second choice but I hadn't gotten an offer from them before the application deadline. Someone posted above that he was shortlisted without IELTS. What email did you receive?

This radio silence is giving me anxiety. I keep receiving tuition fee reminders and it's quite frustrating. They've dragged this out way too long. I wish they'd just tell us what's happening.. Even if it's not in our favor. It's not cool being in the dark.

Something tells me they've already made their selection. The Scholarship advert said "only shortlisted candidates will be contacted". There's hardly any time left so we can only assume their silence means we didn't make it. If anyone knows anything, please share.

I don't have an IELTS and wasn't bothered since it wasn't specified. I heard of a guy's whose application is in progress but didn't upload the IELTS.

I put in for Applied Economics, how about you?

I believe they're more concerned about the write-ups than anything else. IELTS wasn't a criterion for selection.. No one has been selected yet and 'in progress' could very easily turn to 'Not selected'. I'm hoping they're going to send out emails tomorrow so we all know where we stand. It's been exactly 6 weeks since they closed applications. Just keep your fingers crossed.

Try using a different browser or request a new password. If this doesn't work, I'd advice you don't panic. According to the email @sarahade received, they're going to send out an email or some form of notification to candidates.

If you don't see this, there's still hope.

My school has been calling like I'm a new prize boyfriend: they want to know if this, they hope I know my course starts on that, am I ready for this, my CAS/VISA that... I don tire. I wish NLNG would just clear the air like ptdf. Or are they scared?

Some people saw "Not Selected" under the application status. A lot of people actually. I'm yet to hear/see anyone who has actually been selected but at least we can be sure the wait is over. Let's give it a few more days and hopefully, we'll all know where we stand.

The fields are case sensitive. When I had a similar problem, I alternated to upper case for the username and it worked. Try and remember what you used for the username. Hopefully that would resolve the problem for you.

Go to Careers on their website and log in to Job portal using your username and password at time of registration, check your application to find out if you were selected or not.

Thanks a lot, just checked mine.. Under application status, it says 'in progress'. I guess that's the polite way of saying 'you weren't selected'. Goodluck everyone.

NLNG has selected. Applicants status is being displayed on each applicant's portal.

I believe you're talking about the portal we used to register. I can't seem to find the link to it on their website.. Under CSR --> Scholarships, all I see is "quick links". Please share the right steps to check. Thanks a lot.

As much as I'd like to be selected, something tells me they've already made their selection and started the visa acquisition process. Is there a number or email to call and make enquiries? It would be nice to know where we stand..

Based on the email they sent after successfully submitting the application, I believe only shortlisted candidates will be contacted. I'm not sure a list will be released for all to see like that of PTDF. I wish they had told us the date or number of weeks it would take to make a decision.. Waiting is no fun. We're all growing impatient.
