I am not part of your recruitment but I have a lot of friends who are involved.

I was involved in the 2013 NLNG recruitment that ended last year. A lot of waitlisted people did not get in because at a point some waitlisted got angry and used the social media to tag all the taggable.

The next day, we all got regret emails. I don't regret the action but I regret the emotional and psychological investment in those 4 years of torture.

Like someone said, you guys have to be patient with sense. Some of the wicked HR staff may keep some of your letters till October and claim you guys did not show thereby replacing your names with their people.

At the same time, you guys have to come together and strategize. The connected ones among you need to address the issue from the top while the others should prayerfully support them.

I repeat, remember the bolded, don't go the social media route yet o! A word is enough for the wise.

I was waitlisted on the NLNG recruitment too..It didnt hurt much as I was praying I will be successful in the DPR one. I believe we should excersice a little more patience before protesting at least till end of next week...

Keep deceiving yourself, what does staff union have to deliberate about receuitment? Recruitment decision is a top management decision and not a union matter.
If indeed there will be a meeting, then it will be something else but not for thos recruitment. Nobody knows the date, but the recruitment is 90% completed.

The Union does have some say in recruitment...so I heard from someone from the last recruitment. Remember its Nupeng and pengassan and not any ordinary union.They ensure that recruitment and placements (ranks and steps) are ‘fair’. Eg. a GT applicant is not given an experienced position and so...

I disagree, as at the time of the advert for GT it says NMT 30yrs as at 31st dec. 2016...this almost 2yrs later not the applicants fault..people cant pit their age on hold

When I got my current job (Its a FG job) the department/office i was posted to wasnt on the appointment letter, which i assume is the case with all/most govt parastatals. Rather I was issued another letter which read ‘posting letter’. These people need to try harder, if we cant figure all these out then we shouldnt be hoping to work at DPR

mine says "Bad request. HTTP Error 400. The request is badly formed" I've tried other browsers its still the same. What does yours say?

Same response on google chrome and safari..but I was able to access with opera.

You seem oblivious of the fact that some, if not majority, of the candidates will not be participating in the fast. And for those who observe it, they are still obligated to go to work during the fasting, then what is the big deal about going to collect the Apl during that period?

Napolitano14: I thank Allah SWA for granting me the ptdf OSS. Also hoping for the nlng letter Insha Allahu. I know when we get to the bridge we will surely cross it. I guess nlng will allow somebody on master prog. to complete it and later join if succesful in the recruitment process?

Congrats, i got the ptdf oss Alhamdulillah! I hope so oooo. Deoends on what their policy is, i hope it doesnt come down to choosing. Allah SWT knows whats best.
