Come back and kiss my foot as soon as u are enlightened. grin

Fool, that is the problem with u hopeless eediots. Kachikwu claimed without due process by not informing the board of NNPC however based on procurement laws governing the NNPC, the board do not need to know. Eediots like u have chosen to pitch on Kachikwu words while ignoring the laws of the land.

Did Diezani disobey the laws of the land?

And how?

Kachikwu raised an observation on award of contract without the board endorsement.

The questions to ask would be:

Is this true?

What makes up the board?

Does it require a quorum?

Is it even true that the minister of state for petroleum must be in attendance?

Why was this done this way?

Has the contract taken off?

What is the defence of the GMD?

What has been the response of the principal head to these allegations?

All these questions must be answered and possibly more before a conclusion can be made.

Not screaming 26 Billion dollars is missing up and down.

Where is this so called 26 Billion dollars?

One question

WHAT IS DIEZANI 'S CRIME?

At the same time, there is no money missing.

If you claim there is money missing, please provide who the money was paid to.

Also provide, contract agreements, services rendered/ not rendered. Past awards for comparison.

Na like that abi....
Oya provide Diezani 's own contract agreements, services rendered or not

Why dont people read news line by line and assimilate. Which $26billion got missing? He said and i quote "$26billion worth of contract was awarded without board approval" this is different from missing money undecided

So what was the original plan: "Let us try and see if they can catch us...Letter leaks...Oh they've caught us, we didn't follow due process"

Then did Diezani commit any crime?

Kachikwu only noted that the award of contracts amounting to about 26b wasn't consistent with regards to existing processes, all the president needs do is find out if duly process was followed in line with laid down procedures and if not, revoke the contracts and fire those involved...
Most Nigerians especially folks on this forum are lazy, they won't read so they can make informed decisions, all they do is swallow whatever they are fed, hook, line and sinker.

If the letter didn't leak, would we have known?

why didn't they call Kachikwu to order since August?

Lol. Its more case of since they catch us stealing, we must catch them too. Read my lips - There is no case of missing $26 billion anywhere now in nnpc.
The case is only about not following due processes in the award of contract.
Awarding contract is not fraud. The previous GEJ government awarded the contract the same way Barau did.
Kachikwu was brought in to sanitised the process, that was why he frown about the GMD using the old method period

Are you alright?

What's Diezani 's crime please?

Shut up. You know nothing. What is missing $26bn? The monies involved have not been disbursed. This is a proposed contract. Majority of the components of the contracts have not actually being awarded. No much money has actually being disbursed. Kachikwu was merely saying that due process has not been followed. So you can't authoritatively say there is any missing US $26,when no money has being disbursed and it is just contract on paper.

Thank God Kachikwu 's letter leaked cos we wouldn't have known that Buhari signed contracts worth $26Bn without due process

Okay.
Good thing is we should all be thanking Kachikwu for exposing this "official " and contract bound theft of $26Bn( > 2017 budget + 2trillion naira change) cos we wouldn't have heard of it at all.
At least all these talk of pighting kworopshun would die down.
With this meaningless contract up there, there's no way Diezani should be seen as corrupt too.(Please who noticed the bias of the claimed NNPC official...basing his defence on the "problem "as in personal beef between 2 officials)
Since they knew about this contract, Why wasn't Kachikwu put in order since August?..(abeg who una dey fool)

This contract /defence clearly defines FANTASTICALLY CORRUPT!

Quite logical and true. While this response effectively answers the threads question, I'm tempted to wonder why some posters here are so pained by the logical response so much that they're wriggling like earthworms sprayed with salt.

I hope it isn't because Mynd refused to demonize the entirety of the Fulani herdsmen and instead identified the fact that the killer criminals that disguise amongst them no longer have that cover as they've migrated back to the North due to the rains and accompanying vegetation, and the presence of tse tse flies in the South.

Okay Mr Logical. The attacks for the past 5years have been seasonal right?(As in 6 months in,6months out)

You and that Mynd44 are very much smartly dumb
Politics / Re: What Is Responsible For The Reduction In Herdsmen-Farmers Conflict? by meforkene(m): 12:47pm On Oct 05, 2017
Mynd44:
Shows how much you know. When the rains come, most of these nomads go up north due to the return of vegetation up north and the presence of tsetseflies down south and with the herdsmen, the criminals among them hiding and disguising as herdsmen move.

The struggle between herdsmen and farmers can only be solved when herdsmen are able to source for food without going far away. Which was why Audu Ogbeh suggested importing high quality grasses which can survive the dry season up north which prevents herdsmen from going south to bother farmers or even farmers in the north.

Putting cattle in ranches is just going to cause meat scarcity in Nigerian. Ranch them up north, no food for 6 months each year.

Ranch them in the south, tsetsefly kills substantial amounts of them. Only solution is alternative feeding

Sounds smart but no substance.
Herdsmen attacks over the past ten years has no rhythm or season,it happens all year round.

The Nomads move around all year round.
See how you are calling innocent tse-tse that didn't do anything to you.

Only cattle egrets obey the weather and never the cattle and herdsman.
I've met a herdsman before and he took time to explain to me how they sleep under the rain with their cows.

You didn't answer why?
It may just be the news about them is suppressed or they are silently killed by the farmers instead of waiting to cry for sympathy to the government

NGO's need serious monitoring as does social media,if Nigeria can manage it. Actually,Nigeria should kick out foreign NGO's if possible.

Seems people really work hard to be ignorant..Yes!people like you..

Do you know the number of people that'll die of Malaria and HIV if you kick NGOs out?

Do you have an idea that Bill n Melinda subsidise a lot for HIV n Malaria..do you think he will continue to fund it if FGN puts hand?

Do you know how many times SFH,PPFN,Global Fund have threatened to hand over interventions to the FG n they declined? Cos they can't handle it.

The so called regulated agencies n ministries are the ones responsible for the bad roads, poor power n so on..

Shocks me that human beings support this..amazing! Mosque there was assumed to be inside etc (not actually mentioned)

They will be, they have honour and they are men of their words, that's why Tarly didn't bend the knee because if he did, he can't go back on his word. someone like Cersie would have bend the knee then backstab later because she has no honour.
