Good evening everyone. Some days back I received a credit alert from an unknown person. Called my mum and bro to see if anyone sent money to me and they both said no.

Checked my mail cause I get notifications and I saw that the money was from SELF meaning the person probably tried paying the money into his/her own account. I'm willing to return the money but I don't know to go about it.

Please how do I go about it cause I want the money to get to the owner.
I advice you go to your bank and report it. The money may be a proceed of crime. If u don't report it and there is a problem with that particular transaction in the future, u may be in trouble. Just go to your bank and tell them u want to know who sent the money.

It could be from an anonymous donor, I do that too especially when I don't want people thinking I have money. If the person use a teller to pay, trust me it is a dead end except you have to pull out the bank CCTV.
for every credit, there is always a debit. If she goes to her bank, they will be able to establish the sender from the sender's bank

seems u didnt read that interview. Chief layi said that they, members of lagos indegenes association, have been making it abundantly clear since time immemorial. That lagos is not yorubaland. That lagos is not part of south west. That lagos is an independent bini envlave. That your so-called aworis are binis. Are u telling me that you small boy from osogbo knows the history of lagos more than a real lagos indigene?

OK, continue carrying Benin-Yoruba issue on your head like gala. Benin and Yoruba people have mutual respect for each other and know how to settle their issues away from prying eyes. They both share a common ancestor called Oranmiyan. But you know what? Some things are way beyond your grade level. Restrict yourself to resolving the Benin claims over Onitsha. Even the Igala have more rights over Asaba, Nsukka, Ossomala etc., in Ala Igbo. undecided Isn't that sad?

You Igbos are pushing the envelope with your big mouth. The yawn of a lion must not be miscontrued as aweakness or cowardise. Mine is Yoruba land does not belong to Nigeria if igbos can be chased from the north they must not be made to house this miscreant in name of welcoming. This yorubas policy has to change to give deserving people and not igbos access to yoruba land. Lobatan.
abeg keep quiet. Is chief layi an igboman? Lagos is not yorubaland. Its confirmed. U cant do anything about it

The same way an American educated politician like Zik told your people that Onitsha is owned by the Bini people? undecided OK, sorry - I should have allowed the Yoruba people to give you an answer to that one.
the town at stake is lagos. Where an authentic lagos indigene has told you that core lagosians are binis. When the issue of onitsha arises on a different thread, we will go there and trash it out.
For now, dont be so bitter about the truth. Its better that you have learnt the truth today from a very educated lagosian, and not those illiterate root drinkers that keep lying to you people every night about fake histories that dont exist.

There should be no argument about this, the settlers from Benin owns lagos the man claimed,he knows he is a benin man and benin is located in the midwest part of Nigeria. If migrants claims a country, mungo park should claim the ownership of Nigeria.Mungo park died and he could not move his discovery to England.First settlers are different from indegines, because Yoruba people are welcoming and accommodating all tribes want to claim their land.My take on the whole bruhaha is that the man should go back to his Bini land and leave Lagos for the indigines.
who are the indigenes of lagos?

Ezigbonmadu:
What you call Lagos is a conglomerate of small Yoruba towns with dozens of Yoruba kings like the Onikoyi of Ikoyi, Elegushi of Ikateland, Olu of Ikeja, Ayangburen of Ikorodu, Alara of Ilara, Akran of Badagry Kingdom, Oloto of Otto, Olu Agege of Agege, Olu of Mushin, Oba of Somolu, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, Olubeshe of Ibeshe etc. Do you even understand that all the areas of Lagos state have their own kings? The title "Oba of Lagos" is the title of a king over a particular area in Lagos Island called Èkó and not a king over the whole of Lagos state, not even a king over up to half Lagos Island.
answer the simple question he asked. Lagos is portuguese, eko is bini. What is the yoruba name for lagos like osogbo and ogbomoso?
