But he's right na. They CHOSE the option to embark/disembark using a ladder as rightly said. No one forced them to do it. The way it is done in NORMAL societies is not to embark/disembark at all and then SUE the pants out of the airline and demand that someone in charge resign or be fired. The problem is the way most Nigerians think leaves much to be desired. It is like the norm in normal societies is abnormal in Nigeria.
sue the airline? is the airline the one that is supposed to provide stairs?

As the person who wrote NL's rules, I assure you that "But take one picture of the president
in a mosque and watch christians
complain" does not break any rule. Pls dont create any more.threads.about this.issue. report to supemods instead.
Democracy is about hearing the people talk.
If you really want to know about people's feelings on your moderator Myndd44, kindly unlock that my thread and place it in a prominent position on the politics forum and you will get the responses.
I really don't know the supermods, except lalasticlala. Pls let us know about them and means of reporting our grievances. As for my earlier 3-day ban, I didn't know what I did and why I was banned. Just took it as one of those incomprehensible injustices against me by Myndd44. Especially after I called him a "fastest finger first" in banning all Biafra related posts, in an unrelated thread I created. But when this 2nd one happened, I felt I had to report it. Because it was clearly overboard.
You are doing a good work. I commend you. And you have seen the numerous complaints against the same one moderator Myndd44. Pls investigate the complaints, and do remove him from moderating politics forum. He clearly doesn't have the temparement for it. You know politics is an emotional thing.
And do think of bringing Ngwakwe back.

so why is the Muslim Religion Forum restricted to only Muslims. Check the thread and the reactions of Christrain Nairaland members. And try to twist his statement the other way round, if he had said " and if it were Osibanjo in a church, Muslim members would have started complaining"

Seun:
What rule does the post you are complaining about break?
TolaOluwatosin's posts that triggered my response and subsequent ban clearly broke rule 1 "posting off topic"
Mynd44's post technically broke rule 7 "saying something detrimental to the success of Nairaland". And technically broke rule 2, "provoking Nairaland members"
Politics › Re: Seun, Is Selective Justice, Justice? by meforyou1(m): 4:12pm On Dec 20, 2015
Exactly what I wanted to ask if not that he locked the thread.
And what about TolaOluwatosin, the troll that kept on disturbing me with way wild foolish talks on military service being civil service, which every right thinking human being will know is wrong. And it wasn't even the matter being discussed on the thread
Politics › Seun, Call Mynd44 To Order by meforyou1(op): 2:49pm On Dec 20, 2015
"The man dies in him who keeps quiet in the face of tyranny" - Wole Soyinka

Last week Sunday, 13 Dec, on a thread on The Meaning of Arabic Word In Nigeria Army Logo, one TolaOluwatosin veered away from the topic being discussed and started going about claiming that military service was civil service. Once I corrected him, he then started coming to me saying all manners of nonsensical things based on his ignorance. And I replied him that "as foolish as you are, you don't know that military service is different from civil service?". For that singular expression "as foolish as you are" Mynd44 slammed me a whole 1 week ban, not even on politics forum only, but on the whole Nairaland forum, as he usually swiftly dispenses his inexplicable injustices on matters concerning my person. Now this is the height of misuse of power. It is tyrannical, draconian, abhorrent and utterly condemnable. Even if I were to banned for that post, would it be for a whooping one whole week and on the whole forum? And the instigator was left to go scot-free.
The same mynd44 on that same day made a volatile statement on a thread about Vice President Osibanjo and Governor Ambode in Redeem Church and was roundly condemned from left, right and centre. The Bible says in Matthew 7:5 New International Version (NIV) "You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye".
Seun, it is your business, your empire, do not let a reckless tyrant ruin it for you.
The politics forum was so much fun and lively when mynd44 was removed from moderating it. And bringing him back is one hell of a mistake that should be rectified immediate.

FOLYKAZE:
Arab Christians call God Allah.

Scholars agree that Allah is the Arabic cognate of the Biblical Aramaic elah and Hebrew eloah, which is the singular of elohim, a generic word for God used throughout the Old Testament. Jesus on the cross said Ela Ela, relative to Arabic word Allah.

Allah = Al (The) + Ilah (God).

La ilala ila lau meaning there is no other god apart from God. This justifies that the word for god in Arabic is Ilah while the Almighty God is Allah.

Ilah in Ela was mentioned by Jesus.

Beat that Ode!
you can brainwash almajiris but don't try that joke here. No Christain calls God Allah. And no Muslim call Allah God. Hausa Christains call God Ubangiji.

porshuch:
what does cross symbolize?
The Red Cross logo was designed by Henri Dunant in 1863.

The emblem of a red cross with arms of equal length on a white background is the visible sign of protection under the 1949 Geneva Conventions. As such, it is the emblem of the armed forces’ medical services.

In order to avoid “semantic noise,” the International Red Cross uses the Red Crescent name and trademark in some Arab World countries that have a predominantly Muslim population.

The Red Cross emblem is an inversion of the Swiss flag (the flag is a white cross on a red background). This recognises the historic connection between Switzerland and the original Geneva Convention of 1864.

But while the emblem has no intentional religious meaning, the symbol reminded soldiers from the Ottoman Empire (modern-day Turkey) of the crusaders of the Middle Ages, and so in 1876 they began using a Red Crescent instead.

immigration, customs, etc under ministry of interior

better learn now before you mess up next interview, lol Hehehe

they are all bloody Civil servants

@Souljaboi1

see your life, instead of you to research you are calling another person a clown, ignorance is a dzs
you are taking this your ignorance too far.
Federal Civil Service Commission employ civil servants. And that was the break down that the DG gave. Other public institutions like CBN, NNPC, PENCOM, FIRS and so many others employ their staff themselves and are called public servants. Police Service Service Commission, Customs, Immigration and other paramilitaries employ their staff themselves. Nation Assembly Service Commision employ staff of the National Assembly. The Army, Navy and Airforce employ their staff themselves. And their own is Military Service.
So there is a great difference between civil service, public service and military service.
