Joe Jackson, 89, father of the late Michael Jackson is dead.

The father of 11, died after a battle with cancer in his Los Angeles home on Wednesday.

News of Joe’s death comes two days after the ninth anniversary of Michael’s death.

“He had home nursing care and things took a turn and they wanted to rush him to the hospital, but it was too late,” a source close to the Jackson family said, according to Radar online.

News reaching Commoners Voice this night has it the businesses have fold up in both Etim Ekpo and Ukanafun Local Government Areas of Akwa Ibom State.

This is because of the unrest that started since last year by cultists in the areas. They have attacked many establishments including both Government owned and Private owned institutions. This has forced churches, schools, shops, markets and property owners to vacate the areas.

The unrest started with a playful serving of letters to individuals with a specific amounts payment to the cult groups which graduated into kidnapping, raping, killing, robbing and burning down innocent citizens' properties .

Presently, the areas are better described as a terrorist zone as heavy gunshots are all over the place in both day and night.

Many people will fail a simple test on love because they feel that it is like a room filled with fun and one has to choose it over an empty space.

It is very shameful that they do not read the hand writing of love on everyone, both former lovers and present lovers. It is not that love does not exist as the predictions of some is but it is that people no longer wait to read before they agree to dive in.

When you take love as an empty space, you'll never be disapponted when there's nothing at first as gain. It therefore shows one that both lovers need to contribute the substance that will satisfy them and keep them in a longer time in love.

It becomes burdensome when you wish to take from love and not give a thing to grow it. That disappointment is self inflicted because whoever works, deserve gain.

The simple trick of love then implies that anyone that wishes to stay in love must work for love before he/she expects gain out of it. Keep away that misleading principle that whoever loves you must do everything to keep you. That lie is for thieves and lazy humans who only steal from innocent lovers and leave when all is gone.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Command through the state's Commissioner of Police on Tuesday 12th March 2018 issued a 21 day ultimatum on terrorists to surrender their arms or face the full weight of the law.

This statement was made after the cries of the citizens of these areas attracted the Governor, Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel for a town hall meeting visit to the areas. The Governor sympathized with the affected citizens before setting up a committee to reach out to those boys for negotiation and settlement.

This was a slice of hope for the citizens of these areas who are still suffering in the hands of those dare-devils on daily bases. It seems the boys have increased their daily operations of armed robbery, kidnapping, raping, assassination and burning down houses. Many citizens have left their homes leaving the helpless to a daily life of sleeping in the bushes as churches are no longer safe grounds.

This week it has been reported that several people have been kidnapped including a nursing mother at Obong Ntak in Etim Ekpo L.G.A., a senior pastor was abducted during church service at Idung Nneke in Ukanafun L.G.A. While Akwabia Hospital in Obong Ntak, Etim Ekpo L.G.A was invaded by the boys, a nurse with one other girl who was taking care of her mother were kidnapped in the medical center.

Ikot Ukpong, Ikot Inyang Abia, Ikot Udo Obobo, Ikot Inyang Udo and Idung Oku Udo villages, all in Ukanafun L.G.A. have experienced series of broad-day-light robbery.

+He requests for a video call to see the environment of the potential victim to consider if he/she is rich to his taste.

+He uses the same communication pattern on all his potential victims with the same claims.

+He promises the potential victim a summer holiday trip to UK.

+He promises to send an apple labtop for the potential victim and later asks him/her of all official details ranging from phone number, full name, city, adress and age.

-His Claims-
*He claims to be working with a UK company as a manager in charge of maintaining the offshore crude pipelines all over UK.

*He Claims not to have any friend from Africa and wishes to make the potential victim the first.

*He claims that the victim will have to clear the sent items with a particular amount, through a particular custom officer in Nigeria and with a particular phone number.

Let no one take this for a funny time passing joke nor as a political propaganda, when ever you see and read news concerning these Local Government Areas (Ukanafun and Etim Ekpo L.G.A.s).

The situation is very real, people are dying daily, others have been kidnapped, girls have been raped, armed robbery has become a routine on innocent citizens who have nowhere to run to and their hope keeps dwindling everyday as no measures are in place to control the situation.

On one side, this seems like a political misunderstanding, at the other hand, it seems like a cult clash and another phase looks like a personal piss off/hatred on general development which includes governmental projects and private establishments.

In these two areas, no one is really sure of his/her security status. The rich as well as the poor have no margin to separate their class, both share in a common ground of fear and frustration. Many things are going wrong and people have lost count on what is really happeing or what will happen next.

The shady security details attached to the areas are very hopeless, hapless and helpless. Security agents are practically seeking for who to protect them too; as the sophistication of the opposing weaponry is no match with their cork-shoot-and-run precolonial arms. "Police is our friend" but it is very vital to involve other security bodies to back up our friend while the Government workout modalities to settle those boys and restore peace in those areas.

It is not a new tale, "Operation Baboon Cry" would have been suggested but brothers and sisters, please don't forget to always pray for the citizens of these areas for GOD to make ways for them. Their hope for posterity is struggling presently, Maybe when peace is restored in the areas, they will learn to "mend their children's moral decays in time to save nine."

It is always a voice from the wilderness but it seems that the wind is no more powerful enough to convey the voice of the masses to a larger community for solutions.

Nursery/Primary education which has been known to be the best time to engrave educational values on the minds of children is in shambles and the children are always on a cross road. They do not know where their next steps should lie and which direction is best for a beginner. More than half of the total population of Primary school teachers have no interest of these children at heart. They go to school as a first time mother who knows nothing about childcare but has given birth because it is believed that a married woman should bear children. Their career can be unapologetically weigh with the "Hand to Mouth" survival theory. Many of them cannot teach, they are mostly nagging old men and women. Are they teachers or just some job men and women who are after stomach infrastructure?

Secondary Education has its pieces scattered all over the nation like sand at every river bank. The Old Teaching Curriculum has never been visited for years, instead, the confusion on the importance of subjects has been politically romanced in their latest appearances on the National Dailies. History, a very important subject has long been roughly thrown out of the compulsory subjects tray. This has contributed negatively to the development of this country in a very critical consideration. It seems that we are grooming Non-Nigerians in Nigeria, as they can't really understand where we came from and where we should go. Secondary Education would have been totally helpless to citizens if not for Private schools who have tried to build marketable brands which are most times, not affordable by many.

Tertiary Education is in a very big mess, the size that can not be humanly bisected, as both lecturers and students are helpless. Lecturers do not know what to teach and the students do not know what to learn. They resolve to teach what they know while the students learn what they can from different conflicting angles. The scenario is a competition none can win, unless everyone should unanimously seek for the solution.

This is why Nigerian graduates are more confused after university education than when they were not educated. They have this irrational belief that education is measured by the numbers of higher degrees on papers and not the ability to proffer solutions to existing educational challenges...

One will wonder if these two Local Government Areas are not in Akwa Ibom State as the Government and her officials have turned closed ears to their plight.

Citizens of Etim Ekpo and Ukanafun L.G.A.s are suffering within minutes, in the hands of cultists, daylight robbers, frausters, rapists, shops' buggers, assassins and all the evil ploys man can deploy on another man beyond human imaginations.

There is an extreme display of man's inhumanity to another man in these two areas. It ranges from daily kidnapping of struggling citizens, robbers invasion in homes, public shows of heavy gun shots, church invasions by gunmen at nights, rape cases even at farm cites, assassination, schools invasions, deathly attacks on helpless citizens and placement of fund request bills at homes by sectional cultist groups.

Citizens of these two Local Government Areas can no longer boast of Education as teachers are being hunted daily in their place of work, they can't talk about Business because no business can triumph in such an environment. Religious activities have experienced a long pause while social activities are completely dead.

Mini-forest camps which are the strongholds of these crimestars are said to be rooted in the following communities of Etim Ekpo L. G. A.: Obon Ebot, Udiangha Enem, Ikot Udo Obong, Ikpe Annang and Edem Akai. Those in Ukanafun L. G. A. are said to be in the following communities too: Ohubu, Idung Okudo, Ikot Akpan Ayara, Edem Idim, Nkek, Ikot Unah, Ikot Ibekwe, Ikot Enang, Nto Okon, Uruk Otong and Ikot Akpa Nkuk.

These places are very well known places but the people are afraid to mention them to security operatives, as their lives are considered to be next in line if they voice it out.

It is a pity and the World should know that the over-rated richest oil state (Akwa Ibom State)is sinking very fast in bottomless insecurity, abject poverty, tribal marginalization, poor funding, no infrastructures, deterioration/total abandoning of old projects, neglect, since the initiation of this present leader who seems to be more tribalistic than being an Akwa Ibomite. He has shown these two Local Government Areas that he is more concern with the well-being of the Ibibio Nation than the situation in the Annang Nation.

Election will comeforth in a jiffy and our Dear Governor, Deac. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel will come to campaign for a second term in Etim Ekpo and Ukanafun L.G.A.s where there are nothing to point at in the name of government presence.

Will corpses vote for him since lives have been neglected?

Are you still surprise over the sloppy fall of education in this part of the World? You dare not pose with such pretence because it's hard for the smallest lense of Nature not to capture such deceit in motion.

Malpractice shouldn't be the first factor for educational decay we remember when a topic like this has to be treated. Instead, the insiders who hold the leaking question banks should be sincere enough to administer therapies to heal their wounds.

Infrastructure can be a problem but not the totality of the rot concerning the downfall of education in a country as wealthy as Nigeria with such an uncountable number of Professors, Academic Doctors, Masteries and other academic qualifications.

The creation of many higher institutions will not in anyway take away the rotten parts of education that has long been abandoned and ignorantly overlooked by all the responsible educational sector heads. They will only add to the already ugly state of education because their maintenance will in no time get worse.

They all kill education when a professor and all other qualifications can't show more than their certificates and honours. How can there be a continuous generation of the golden duck when the first only hatch nothing?

This is how a professor in physical sciences will hire the services of a road-side mechanic just to plug back his car battery connector after an accidental disconnection. An Agric-Engineer will only snap pictures to defend his project while a food scientist will still call that "mama put" vendor advice on daiet and the auxiliary nurse, an apprentice with a quack chemist still defeats the trained nurse in health examinations even when she's wrong...

It has been a regular debate in today's world about the tendency of change in love and lust. While some people stand against the existence of love with concrete reasons (maybe out of ugly encounters), some get burn up with the excitement and proves on its existence (because of their level of experience)...

After the creation of man, Satan, a political being who has been under the apprenticeship of GOD saw man as a tool for his mightiness but he never approached a separate throne for himself without having the support of many other angels.

This was like creating another political party away from the first existing one. Heaven became a sphere with two political parties and two separate leaders, campaigns ensued, many were against the second spiritual leader (Satan) while many were with the first (GOD). The mastery of GOD in heaven over years and his concrete experiences gave Him the ultimate power against Satan and He threw him down with his cabal members.

The political struggles did not end there, territories were unconsciously created and territorial defense mechanisms were pulled by both sections but not without periodical dialogues to a win-lose conclusions by the two cabal chiefs (GOD and Satan).

This political system has long been mantained but humans get it real rough away from the early political master piece.
