Let's start with the basic

1. Poverty rate --- not everyone can afford to buy a computer and if they do here is the second

2. Power --- without power/electricity you really can't do much and even if they have 1 & 2, here's the third

3. Poor IT infrastructure --- Nigeria still has poor IT infrastructure to make internet availability basic. I believe internet industry isn't competitive enough; that's a limiting factor there.

4. Literacy --- believe it not everyone is comfortable with using the computers let alone the internet but that can change very easily when introduced as part of education.

5. Reason --- the average Nigerian hasn't seen any reason why they should use the internet other than social networking, chatting etc, Nigeria needs to improve platforms for people to have reasons to view the web like commerce, banking, education (at all levels) etc.

why don't you correct your statement. Why not tell nairalanders that you received the scanner and offline license the following day.

Am very sorry for misunderstanding, l got the scanner on the second day really and is working fine, expect that l have little problem with offline module.

The advantage of this scanner over every other scanner in the market now is that it works both offline and online which makes it very much faster than others. This scanner is the best you can get now. It works better than any other scanner. With it you can complete JAMB registration within 30 minutes rather than wasting the whole day on one form. But with the other ones it takes between two to five hours depending on the speed of your internet connection. In offline mode it allows you to upload your passport and scan your finger print with the serial and Pin numbers provided on your JAMB scratch card. This takes about two minutes to accomplish, after which you can save to your system. Then in online mode, go to JAMB registration site, input the serial and pin numbers in the sign up (new users) link. Automatically the saved passport and finger print will load immediately on the username/password creation page. The rest takes less than thirty minutes to complete.

Hello, you dont really need to be changing ISP.From my own view, the problem you are facing is not ISP problem, rather it is your LAN management problem. the solutions are these:First , You need some softwares on your network like system deep freeze, drive vaccine and worm cleaner so as to be cleaning your network from worm and Virus.
