Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, the Chief of Army Staff, has told new recruits that all of them will go to Sambisa forest, a stronghold of the Boko Haram terrorist sect in Borno State at the end of their training.

He also informed the new recruits that there was no room for laziness and indiscipline in the Army, adding that they must make up their minds to serve Nigeria as soldiers.

Buratai disclosed this during the final screening of 80 regular recruits held at Falgore forest in Tudun Wads Local Government Area of Kano State.

“You must make up your mind that you’re ready to serve your country as a soldier and you should be ready,” Buratai said.

“All of you will go to Sambisa at the end of your depot training. If you’re not ready to move to Sambisa and other parts of the country, and of course,
our border areas to defend our country from any act of aggression, then you’ve not started.

“It’s not yet late, if you’ve any doubt, then you can stand up and go.

“There is no room for laziness and indiscipline in the Army and no room for malingering.”

I don't get; this isn't any different from what the news channel shared. I don't have any problem with him mentioning the number of votes he needs to win, he might have said that just to tell his fellow Republican that a little hardwork is all they need to make it. But when the whole conversation is considered, it would seem like the president is desperately looking for anything to use as an excuse to nullify or alter the results. CNN is not really the subject here. Trump wasn't asking him to find or manufacture new votes for him, he was telling him literally to help find the votes he believed were already cast for him but stolen from him. Very big difference from what the news media were portraying as if he was asking him to help manufacture new votes for him to win. What Trump said in that phone call was no different from what he has been saying in public all the while but the media decided to twist it to make it look as if he was asking the georgia secretary of state to do something illegal.
