I want to use this opportunity to thank nairalanders who came and those who didn't come to my rescue yesterday. You guys really helped me a lot and I cannot thank you enough.

This is my full story and how I solved the whole problem of hard stool.

I have been having pooping problems for some months, serious pooping problems. Unfortunately, I don't have access to doctors (too expensive, plus i'm broke).

Few days back it got worse, I got some really hard poop that wouldn't come out. It was like stuck in there, no way, no matter how much my bowel movement (as I hear it's called). I tried to push it out, nothing happened, it was stuck so I was in great pain for 2days with a poop that really wants to come out but stuck .

I came to Nairaland and I opened a thread, I narrated my problem which so many people proffered their solutions and experiences. I went down to the pharmacy to get 'Mist Alba' which most people suggested. I poured out my problem to the pharmacist, she was a nice lady, although she did laugh when I told her I had a poop stuck inside me for 2 days. She recommended Mist Alba, so I invested my last N200 with hopes that it would ease my pain.

When I came back from the Pharmacy at about 8 in the evening, I downed the dosage that she told me to take, as well as 1 litre of water (she recommended warm water but I felt like puking drinking warm water so I went with pure water). I waited for 2 hours with no results, so I drank another dosage with lots of water. My stomach was very big you would have thought I had pot belly.

I went to bed praying for the stuff to work. It wasn't too long, I woke up and I felt the war in my stomach, rumbling and shaking the ground like Boko Haram war. After another hour, I felt it was time to let it out, so I headed for the loo, sat down for hours with no luck and then finally after insulting the pharmacist, calling her all sorts of names for selling something that doesn't work to me (Fine lady no sense). Right now I am sitting in the tub filled with cold water and every thing called ice that I can find in the fridge trying to cool down my anus. I am very happy that my 2 days of misery are well over, although i'm not sure if there is any liquid left in my body. I literally filled the toilet bowl with my poop (serious, literally filled it). It took a while for me to force it down with a plunger.

I would really recommend Mist Alba to anyone with the same problem. The pain is unbearable though. I slept like a happy footballer who just won the World Cup. I swore to myself that I would never disrespect a lady again in my life. Damn, una dey try I swear. I am dancing shoki right now. Doctor Ikenna no go chop my last money again.

I would have taken pictures lol....That would have been disgusting.

Please just follow what jonwesley said and the earlier the better to avoid any infection. I went as far as going for a procedure called colonoscopy to confirm that the colon was in the clear. You need to start taking a lot of fruits, roughages , meals high in fibre and plenty of water. As you are getting up in the morning, the first thing you take should be water. I suffered for years and I now had a complete shutdown of my system before seeking help. I was even placed on admission because it was really bad. Today however, I'm in the clear and bowel movement has been fantastic since I started the new way of life. I was a coke addict but I can count how many bottles I've taken since 2013 when I started the new diet. Please don't take unnecessary chances, the earlier the better. All the best.

I have mentioned them na, a big 50ml syringe, warm water & a bar of dettol or lux soap.

If you can't get the syringe, just get to a good clinic nearby & let them do the enema for you.

I can imagine the discomfort you are feeling from past experience.
Don't you have any doctor or nurse friend?

I do, my Doctor said I should go to his Hospital tomorrow. I better wait till tomorrow.

Very frankly all what has been said, is not the remedy. You need a hospital quickly to evacuate the hard stools that have accumulated over time. I suffered from this before. At the hospital, they used a system that pumps hot water through a hose that has a pointed end which was inserted into the anus. After a little while, it begins to soften the hard stoney stools and it will build some serious pressure within the anal wall that if your anus is not covered well it will splash every where, the ladies that worked on me had share of the spread of my splash in my case.
The process is then repeated about three times like that depending on the quantity of accumulated stool there. Then you will be given some laxatives to be swallowed immediately, I can remember about 4 or 6 tablets taken at once. On arrival in my hotel room that night, I purged through the night and got better by evening. Everything became ok for me, my stool normal.
Now liquid paraffin is useful but not when the stool has solidified and blocked your anal wall. It's like cementing something, difficult to push, same also with Oranges and water. In fact it wasn't the Eba you ate that caused it. It's your not taking sufficient water and food rich in roughages with your meals prior to the time. Also some drugs reactions like antibiotics have such side effects on people and they need to avoid taking such treatment that lasts more than 5 days. After you regain your health back to normal, you can be taking the Oranges well. Ensure you drink minimum 8 glasses of water daily since you are prone to this, you can drink more than this average water in take.

I still recommend going to a clinic but i know how things are on the average in Naija.

With a 50ml syringe and a mild warm soap solution using maybe lux or dettol soap you can give yourself an hygienic enema.
I hope you know how to go about it?

There's little fruits or water can do at this stage. You need an enema and possibly manual extraction of the hard stool close to your anus possibly stopping the softer ones behind from coming out. You can do it yourself but i recommend you visit a clinic. Sorry.

I feel like dying right now.

I use to complain of a peppery sensation in my anus after defecating and blood body guarding my faeces during defecation. These I thought were normal so I didn't bother about these problems.

I thought the pains I feel after defecating were severe pains until yesterday. I remember some days back that I ate enough Garri and Egusi soup. I kept on eating because the food was so delicious.

I went to the toilet yesterday and I spent hours trying to pass out something from my anus but I couldn't. I tried to force it out with all my strength but I had no luck. I wore rubber gloves, inserted my hands into my anus and I was able to remove some very strong faeces. I tried to force the remaining stubborn stool out but I had no luck. The pains almost killed me, so I gave up and I went on with my daily activities with stool ready to come out still in my stomach. I took about five Oranges yesterday but it hasn't helped at all. Stool Softners aren't working because the stool is ready to come out.

The problem here is that, my anus is in flames right now. I can't even force the stool out, I can't pressure my anus because the anal fissure is making it impossible for me to do that. I might die of pains if I try to push. I just sit in the toilet without trying to do anything. I sit for hours with no clue on what to do. I have tried applying vasline and kernel oil but it won't just come out. I can't force it out, the Anal fissure makes it a nightmare.

Please I need help on what to do.

I finally got into singing for good.... I now sing without rapping. I know that with more work I will surely improve. Tomorrow is going to be hot. I will upload 5 out of many freestyles I have done, from the worst to the best.

I use a laptop and everytime I try to download for that site I get fake files and this has happened more than 4 times. You guys should use various storage for your files. 4shared.com is the best. There was one I had I can't remember the site again. You download without joining...

It happens that way because you use a laptop sir. Try it with a mobile phone for better result. The files I uploaded are in .OGG, MP4 and MP3 formats respectively because it was recorded via mobile.

4shared takes a lot of time. People have to wait for 20seconds before downloading. It isnt a good website for Music hosting.
