Phones › Re: Is Oppo phone in Nigeria A Scam ? by Meister(m): 4:17pm On Dec 23, 2022

aieromon:
Care to share evidence? Oppo has devices that run on Snapdragon 680 but the Reno 8 is certainly not one of them.

The Reno 8 released in Nigeria came with SD 680 and it's basically the same phone as the Reno 7 they released earlier.

Maybe this will open the eyes of many people to what I've known for a while now, oppo releases substandard phones for the Nigerian market and at exorbitant prices.

The funny thing is oppo had initially sent the global Reno 8 with dimensity 1300 to Nigerian tech content creators to review and applaud then ended up releasing one with SD 680 ( same processor in the 100k Redmi 10C) and many people will buy it thinking it's the same one in those reviews

The F3.. is it the f3 5g with dimensity 700 or the normal f3 with helio p70

If it was the 5G he'll obviously write 5G there and I don't understand how you expect to get a dimensity 700 device with 70k

There's been a couple people that are supposedly in Owerri that have come here with sob stories in the past and they've all been scams, I'm almost sure this one up here is too

How is this speedaf ? Any information you're not sure of please don't share it.

On speedaf tracking, what do they mean by "departed to ABV distribution centre"

You should have posted a screenshot of the tracking so we'll understand better

People don dey pull out statistics from their ass grin

To be honest I still genuinely believe that up to 70% of problems brought up here were somehow caused by the user and they're either not saying the complete truth or don't know enough about phones to figure out what they did that led to their problem.

I've seen someone whose phone fell inside water for quite some time and he just put it inside rice and continued using his phone then a few weeks later his phone develops faults and he acts like he doesn't remember his phone being submerged in water just a few weeks prior then try to blame it on a harmless security patch update.

I've personally used 8 different Xiaomi devices and I've never faced any problem or serious bug
