MY GOODNESS ARE THERE STILL PEOPLE WHO PATRONIZE THIS RUBBISH?
Celebrities / Tears In The Entertainment Industry - My Advice. by meksmewo: 4:01am On Jan 11, 2017
In this article i have chosen not to mention names so that it would not be seen as character assassination or a direct attempt at the reputation of anyone. I have great respect for every player of the Nigerian entertainment Industry.

In recent times, it has been one sad news to the other within the Entertainment Industry from the Music Section to the Movie Section, with several actors and artists dying or being hospitalized for one terminal illness of the other. What is most painful is that in most cases they are unable to take care of their hospital bills.

Stardom which is the state or status of being a very famous or talented act is usually associated with comfort, so it beats my imagination why many of them are unable to take care of their own needs when health issues arise. I provoked my thoughts in that direction.

The terminal illness suffered by most of this artists range from Kidney Failure to Heart Diseases or even Cancer. In some of the cases good willing individuals have come up at the niche of time to save the situation by making donations, sometimes and in rare cases, Government officials take up responsibilities. However in most cases they are unable to pay for treatment and some even pass away. The trend is ugly.

MY ADVICE TO THE ARTISTS:

Some of these terminal illnesses are caused by bad habits, negative addictions and dirty lifestyles. Excessive consumption of Drugs and Alcohol, Keeping late nights at several parties and functions are some of the reasons why the health situation of these artists becomes bad. What makes it worse is that the expensive, high class and fake lifestyles many of them live which makes it almost impossible to have savings hence the poor financial state in times of emergency.

I will like our artists to know that many of them are consciously or unconsciously role models to their fans. People look up to them. Nobody needs to fake a lifestyle to impress a fan base. It is important to point out that there are still very humble and reserved talented artists in Nigeria who have stable homes and successful private businesses. If the lifestyle of our artists is put in check, the social problems including health issues and family breakups will be reduced to the barest minimum.

It is important to point out that these problems are not peculiar to the Nigerian Industry but what is worrisome is the unimaginable consistency in this sad occurrence. Also this does not mean that all the artist that have gone through the pains of this sicknesses of sad situation have not lived a good life, I am only sharing a passionate thought directed and bringing the ugly trend to it barest minimum.

I advise my brothers and sisters who GOD has blessed with talents, not to allow it get to the head. Humility and Focus will keep the eyes on the crown with the right approach. Manage your wealth and keep a cool head. Eat and sleep well and do your best to keep a good home.

MY ADVICE TO THE COLLECTIVE INDUSTRY – MUSIC AND MOVIE.

I strongly recommend that all Entertainment Bodies including the AGN, PMAN, DGN, etc. sets up individual or a collective Foundation, one that will be regularly funded by member contributions and philanthropic donations. These will avail members in need of health care funding in times of eventuality.

A health issue is not an anticipated problem and no one knows when it comes so to prepare ahead, having a fund ready for such cases will help them take care of such situations. It is sad when some of these artists in need begin to call out to the public for assistance and no reasonable amount is able to the raised. The reason is because people find it hard to believe that the required amount cannot come out of the Industry considering how much it is valued.

I hope the content of my advice will not be taken wrongly but seen as a passionate move to help end the pains and tears in the Entertainment Industry.

Romance / Advice To Those In Relationships. by meksmewo: 3:50am On Jan 11, 2017
TO THE LADIES!:

If you are a single lady and you spend time on social media abusing and insulting ALL MEN... You will have to wait for the second coming of JESUS to get married....

If you are a married woman complaining about ALL MEN, prepare for the arrival of your official or unofficial assistant wife....

In judging ALL MEN, look beyond your experience with one. Also consider your wrong actions that could possibly lead to his bad behaviour. Use your power of influence and submissive approach positively and make the best of your relationships.

TO THE GUYS:

If you are a single guy and you spend time on social media abusing and insulting ALL LADIES.... You will have to wait till VIRGIN MARRY gives birth to a girl to get married.

If you are married and you complain about ALL WOMEN, believe me you are lost in the middle of an ocean because the world is theirs.

Before you pick faults in everything she does and suspect her for even the ones she has not done, look beyond your myopic thoughts and appreciate the little she has done and consider your wrong actions that could possibly lead to her change for the worse.

Celebrities / Meet The African King Who Works As A Mechanic And Rules His People On Skype by meksmewo: 8:34am On Oct 26, 2016
Interestingly, 67 year old King Togbe Ngoryifia Cephas Kosi Bansah pictured below at his mechanic workshop in Germany is the superior and spiritual chief of Ewe people of Gbi kingdom in Eastern Ghana. He may be a king in his country but he works as a full-time mechanic in Germany. He governs his people over Skype.

Céphas grew up in Ghana but he moved to Germany in 1970 before he was appointed king. His kingdom consists of 300,000 Ewe people. He originally moved to Germany when his grandfather, the then king, encouraged him to train there as a mechanic.

After finishing his studies and gaining full citizenship, he settled and set up his own garage in Ludwigshafen. He continued living a peaceful life until 1987 when he received a Fax which would change his life forever.

His grandfather, the King of Hohoe, had died and Bansah’s father and eldest brother were deemed unfit to rule because they were left-handed, which the Ewe people considered to be ‘unclean’. This meant that Céphas was his grandfather’s successor, and the new king.

He now lives in Ludwigshafen with his wife Gabriele Bansah, 57 and his two children Carlo and Katharina, continuing his job as a mechanic and his role as King. He uses Skype to govern his people and still visits Ghana up to eight times per year.

Literature / My Momentary Thoughts. Poem Titled: YES I CRY by meksmewo: 3:17am On Dec 06, 2015
YES I CRY!

...And then i was deeply concerned,
Not sure if it had to do with the souls heaven had lost to destruction,
Or if it had to do with the young minds that have lost their direction,
Not sure if its the beautiful sisters raped and abused everyday,
Or the handsome brothers going ugly from drugs and vices today,
But I was deeply concerned.

...And then i was touched,
Not sure if it was about the mouths that have no food to eat,
Or the poor and wasted destitute that have no home to sit,
Not sure if its the sick with no hope of good treatment,
Or the frustrated who have no hope of any attainment,
But I was touched.

....Now I cry,
Not sure if i cry for my fellow Nigerians who suffer everyday,
Or for the wealth of my nation stolen and diverted till today,
Not sure if i cry for the government workers with no pay,
Or the average Nigerian trader who is sure of just one day,
But I cry. YES I CRY!

This is true reflection of my Momentary Thoughts.

Religion / Re: How Jesus Reacted To The Worship Of Mary by meksmewo: 10:57am On Jul 05, 2015
Instead of discussing salvation, and living a good life, we are busy displaying JEALOUSY and ENVY for a woman who God honoured by using her to bring the saviour of the world to us. Some of us here lick the feet of mere pastors and even worship them all cos of miracles and display of wealth.....HYPOCRITES. Concentrate on the salvation of your soul. The woman was BLESSED among women...She must be honoured for this.
