As a CBT centre operator for JAMB, I have been inundated with inquiries from propective JAMB candidates as to when 2017 registration will commence.Please note that registration for 2017 has not yet started. It is unfortunate that some persons have started collecting money from prospective candidates in the name of registering them for JAMB. Some have even gone as far as designing and publishing websites which contain copyrighted JAMB logo to deceive the gullible.
Please note that registration for 2017 JAMB can only be done at approved JAMB CBT centres spread accross the entire geo-political zones of the country using the virtual private network of JAMB which can only be found at CBT centres. The use of scratch cards has also been phased out. Other electronic payment methods of payment will be used to generate PIN for registration. DO NOT pay more than the approved amount at any CBT centre you go to register. Do not pay 'cooperation fee' or try to arrange for assistance from anybody on exam day. CCTV cameras will be installed in all exam halls nationwide. The CCTV will be connected to the VPN network from were JAMB will monitor each exam hall remotely in real time from their H/Q. Defaulters will be prosecuted and punished. The present registrar is a no nonsense man and a man of integrity. He will go to every length to protect his image. Thanks.

Please anyone dealing with "Dr. Ayogu" in this forum shd be very careful. He claims to work with JAMB and sells fingerprint scanners for 11k. I guess he is trying to cash into the confusion on these scanning stuff to dupe unsuspecting persons. Be warned.

Hey guys I think we are in for trouble this year. The fingerprint stuff isnt working. I have used one of the recommended scanners. I succeeded in scanning, i was always returned back at the end with an error message that the fingerprint is of low quality. I have called one of the help lines provided, and to my shockl, i was told that each state of the federation has only one centre where the fingerprint scanning can be done. Some states are yet to get a centre. This means you have to travel to other states if u reside in one of these unlucky states. That is the mess we are in now. If you doubt, u can call one of the help lines to hear for urself. What do we do in this kind of situation?

plz never make use of KOOCHI COMMUNICATOINS as an ISP. They are very inefficient and will never listen to you once u have a problem.
