Your father is a first class ethnic bigot. Motherfucker! If they like let them band me I don’t give a Bleep. You’re so obsessed with the Igbos that I feel like kicking your lousy ass. You are a goat. Quote me and go to hell. Nkita nwuranwu….

This is the most important of all you said
I'm considering opening a thread on the issues raised. Just can't find time to coordinate my thoughts because of much projects.... But I think its high time we the Igbos have to look inward for our practical development and advancement. Nobody can quashed a determined idea whose time has come.

Ikwerre is not Igbo. This case is making the likes of HopeAtHand feel more relevant than they should. Being Igbo should be an individual belief.
Case close.

We as a people should take practical step to develop the South East. One thing that can give us an edge is intellectualism, coupled with technological development. What Innoson is doing in Anambra State can serve as a template.

We should tone down a little on trading and promote economic growth through intellectual and technological advancement.
We should build schools that emphasis more on technology and business oriented profession. With capacity to churn out more graduates that can single handedly take on the economy without relying on any government institution.

We should also work as a body to realize the long overdue Anioma State….. The Igbos should unite on a practical stand, rejecting too much rhetoric and chest-beating. I rest my case.

Please let's make this clear and lucid as possible....

IKWERRE IS NOT AND CAN NEVER BE IGBO, we share distinct traits, both psychologically and otherwise...... Please ikwerres are not igbos.... stop annexing yourselves, it's disgusting to us....

An average ikwerres man is open hearted, loves sharing and not dubious, this are obvious characters not exhibited by the igbos , so I wonder how you can even think we are similar let alone the same......

Hopeathand thanks for the mention, let everybody know the truth...
Please don't take it too far with your claims. Ikwerre is not Igbo... The OP should have excluded Ikwerre from this thread so that it will achieve its stated objective. Ikwerre is not Igbo. @ bolded is not necessary. Dubiousness is not restricted to any tribe. I'm Igbo from Ebonyi State.

You are entitled to your myopic and moronic opinion. Every Nigerian is relevant, irrespective of tribe or ethnic affiliation.

[size=13pt]Igbos should respect themselves and not portray themselves as needing to be associated with any people to survive.

If the northerners suddenly start affirming that they are (and have always been) brothers with Igbos, how will they feel?

The Hausas...

1) Speaking a different language

3) Having different customs and values

4) Having killed lots of Igbos in the north in the past

I the same way it is not expected of Igbos to disrespect themselves this way wanting to be present day "brothers" with the south-south by pretending we have ever come from the same house.

1) Igbos speak a different language

2) Igbos have different values (like the money-at-all-cost mentality) and a decidedly different reasoning system

3) We don't have any similar ancestry

4) The derogatory name for the people of the SS is even mbamiri just as they call yorubas ofe mmanu. In fact, the name ofe mmanu was coined probably way into colonisation last century. Meanwhile, mbamiri must have been used to refer to the south-south and its people many generations down the line.

With this kind of behaviour the Igbo man has remained largely a diplomatic liability to himself.

Diplomatic actions of today create diplomatic (i.e political) rewards/equity tomorrow.
How far into the future does the Igbo man want to store up minuses for his political fortunes by his self-destructive actions of today?

@Coolscott are you still hallucinating on Igbo matter. Make you no die of HBP before your time’oo! Advice no be course. Biafra or no Biafra, Igbo people should not be your problem.

There is nothing wrong with the Ijaw habitat, but when some greedy folks suddenly wake up one day and demand to be give a built up city like PH or Warri, just because they're tired of living out in the sea, someone needs to stop them quickly.

If identity-wise this man is a fraud (and I believe he is)
Can you imagine a Yoruba peson doing this? They are content with themselves. Name any othe ethic group. They dont have time. There is only one ethnic group we know to be so unsettled with themselves as to be a complete behavioural wreck in relating with others. Case in point their passionate claim that "Lagos is no-man's-land", a claim they still hold unto till today.
Your assumption is baseless. Quit arguing with emotion and base your findings on facts. You cannot use opinions of few to generalize on the many. I have met good and bad people from different ethnic group….. But I don’t think I have the right to abuse any because of the activities of the few.
And so you and your brothers don’t have the exclusive right to start calling Igbos name as a result of a thread created by an unknown fellow…..
For your information, I have a good numbers of Ijaws as my colleagues here, lot of mutual respect and understanding among us…. I wonder where this skirmish is coming from. If you are truly an Ijaw son, you will know that the Igbo man is not your problem.
Good-Day

I have asked the OP to let us know his real moniker.

I accused him of creating this new account just 4 the purpose of this thread and he has admitted it. What is so difficult about pointing out the old moniker he abandoned 4 the purpose of creating this thread?

Why was it so important anyway, to create a new moniker for this thread?

Why choose the "we niger delta" anyway as moniker?

The longer he refuses 2 simply point out his pre-thread identity, the more we must seriously consider him to be a fraud. & if he be a fraud, no othe ethnic group fits the bill in terms of pre-established motivation
And this justify your pre-established fact that he is Igbo. Can you provide this as an evidence in a court of law? I guess you're a grown up....

The OP is a fraud.

Take a look at the date on which he created this thread and the date on which he created this his account.
I make bold to say he is just a disgruntled Ibo man. Is there anyone else that has become very infuriated recently about Niger Deltans identifying with themselves? The moniker he chose for this account is the exact same expression that Igbos have recently used in expressing their frustration about the region. To me it is like a full grown man suddenly being angry that he has a shadow (or that he has genis
I have asked him severally to let us know what his other username was before he created this one just for the purpose of creating this thread and he has refused to let us know.

I think he is a fraud. And if he is Igbo (as I am just about 100% sure he is) it is a big shame. There are lots of things going wrong in Igbo land. Abians discriminating against Imos. In fact you will be surprised that within Abia state, they find bases on which to have further separations amongst themselves. I lived there for years and I know. I even worked there for a bit.
Have you ever seen a Yoruba man, or an Efik, an Ibibio, an Igala (or anybody for that matter) try to look for fault lines amongst them to further create divisions?

It is a very shameful thing that someone will sit down and plan how to instigate discord in another man's house (and then devote this much energy to it)

If what I allege is indeed the fact (and it most likely is) I have to say WITHOUT MINCING WORDS OR APOLOGY, Shame on you OP.

Now let me say that I have said time and again that these shenanigans only erode the diplomatic equity the Igbos have as a people. If other people are hurting you, it is bad enough. But when you are the one(s) committed to diminishing the possibility of being supported by any other people, I say that is worse because then, you are the insider inside yourself working against yourself.

Political equity in my view comprises of two things amongst others

1). Allies

2). Likeability

Your likeability will determine the possibility of your success with allies

In this regard, we see that the Igbo man's greatest enemy has been himself. You cannot succeed when you commit your self with such strength and such passion, to a self-diminishing mission.

The mission does not change from being a self-diminishing mission even if you are not aware of what it truly is just as your destination cannot change to London even if you without knowing, get seated in a Somalia flight. You will definitely land in Somalia.

Below is a screenshot from the OPs profile showing when he created this acocount. The link is to my post where I have asked for his true identiy to be revealed.

I hope other Igbos get to read this too and understand that a good or bad reputation is not built overnight. It is built over years one day at a time and it is a treasure that parents leave for their children.

You don't have any factual proof that the OP is Igbo. This glaring hatred against the Igbos is alarming. I wish all Igbos will quit nairaland, at least it will solve this problem to an extent. wetin wey no concern them, una go drag them put inside. And the foolish ones will be responding with bile. Truckpusher, Goodboiy Tonyebacanister, please, desist attacking the Igbos for no just reason.... face the OP and leave the Igbo nation alone.
