Honestly. E happen like movie. After documents upload nobody hear feem again. Thank God say I no overlook other opportunities where I dey wait o. Hmmmm. The year for no funny at all.

Please has anybody received further instructions from dragnet? Will the test be discipline based? What are the areas to focus on? Please any clue will be highly appreciated

I got the offer too. All thanks to GOD. Never been this moved to tears. Congrats to everyone who was successful. Please do not falter if you missed this now. Some of us have had to do this on multiple times.....don’t lose hope at all.

Lol, 1st September doesn’t need to be trusted . The ultimate prayer na make the mails favour us. Once the mails drop, all of these trust issues will be overtaken by events . I’m sure the joy will overwhelm the long wait. Let’s just still chill abit, a week more won’t hurt worse. At least we are sure this recruitment is definite. Go check the NCDMB thread. Speculations have been the daily prescription for the past 6 months. Right now nobody even know weda the recruitment still dey on or not. We thank GOD for this one, we are sure of hearing from them very soon. E no easy but make we still try wait small

Una go just kill una sef with all these predictions and anticipations, you can only do 3 things:
- Hope for the best outcome.
- Focus on what you have now or other stuffs.
- Seek out other opportunities.

All these predictions and restlessness will only set us up for mental stress. Las Las e go drop and we all will definitely know.

Stay calm and remain peaceful.

All these 3 things we know them. We are anxious at this point because we are humans. Everyone who got to this stage put in great efforts.......those efforts have necessitated the expectations, hence the anxiety. Couple of motivational lines won’t erode all of that.

I’m sure no one here gets anxious about this 24/7.......I guess no one here has been entirely immuned from the anxiety too.
Plus, our peculiar circumstances and career status makes a general advice on handling the anxiety a bit unrealistic. Your message is well understood, but It’s normal to be anxious when you’re expectant. Believe me, nobody will die from this . We pray for victory at last !

I tink d issue was that they tot they would resume physically by sept so they were expecting first batch to resume by sept and they hasten the interview process to July16 so mail would have rolled out 1st week of Aug but now d plan has changed no physical resumption because of covid delta variant. Buh d mail still fit drop dis Aug but late sha

Then it will be best we start recalibrating our minds to ending of August, at least for our mental health. If it comes earlier, good. No easy sha.

I doubt if they will punish her for it sha. I mean there’s nothing wrong with making enquiries, especially when they even gave a timeline. But even at that, it will be efforts in futility coz they are not obliged to explain anything to her. They will just tell her to wait for the mail.

Then you should have put it in the context I was coming from, if you didn't want to assume, which was getting feedback after a stage. Everyone here knows they sent mails intermittently during the interview invite phase.

In the firm were I did my NYSC, emails about recruitment are sent only on Thursdays after the weekly planning and problem-solving meetings.

Uncle/Aunty, I don’t want to argue with you about your company. He said PwC mails don’t come in on Mondays and that’s factually wrong Coz people have received communications from PwC on Mondays. If he meant a different context, he didn’t specify and I can’t assume for him.

Abeg let this unnecessary argument end. If mails come they come. And thanks for the advice, if that will make you rest this case.

Being an overactive and an inquisitive type like Like Eureka, I have gone through some of the previous threads, I can boldly tell you that the guly is very right with the statement. Monday is the only day they have never sent general feedback mails. You can confirm this from the last 3 years threads.

So let the matter just die Sha .. the main matter to me is, anytime the mail will drop, I should be favoured...

Well he didn’t say that. He said “mails”. I couldn’t have assumed for him. I responded to that and that alone. I’m only disagreeing to that assertion that they never send mails on Monday. PwC can send in correspondence any day.

I don’t know your exact view on my use of “definitely”, but to answer your question........First, PwC did send interview invites on Mondays for some candidates during the last interview process. Secondly, it’s bereft of logic that any company (let alone PwC ) will just single out a working day of the week not to send out communications. If at all it is correct (which is not the case based on the interview schedule notice example) that PwC never sent any mail on Monday, it won’t be better than a simple coincidence. Besides, there could be another or other working days of the week they haven’t sent mails too.

My point is, the possibility of them sending mails today is neither low nor high, it’s like every other day. Mails can in fact drop any day.

So Everything will be ready and PwC will just say “no no we don’t send mails on Mondays, for that we shouldn’t send it today”?

Sorry, but that logic is too weak to carry such conclusion. Even if mails don’t come in today, it definitely won’t be for that reason.

Resumption is supposed to be October I guess. That's why I was surprised when people said feedback will come early August. Fingers crossed though.

It’s nothing to be surprise about. I don’t know for others, but I was explicitly told to EXPECT FEEDBACK FROM FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST. Although to suit my anxiety I’ve chosen that to mean BY FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST.
Seeing other people here confirm same info from the interview kinda makes me more confident. Today is still part of the first week of August.

Yeah, but they are using a template. Preparing employment documents is no issue at all. They are not reinventing the wheel entirely. In this era of tech, that will never be a problem. Plus, PWC is always at the top of their game, I’m sure they are better than I even know. I guess the delays will rather be around the criteria surrounding the eventual recruitment. Comparatively evaluating performances in combination with other factors.
