On saturday, 26th March 2015, at around 2pm, I ordered for a Tecno J7 boom on parktel online for 24,500 plus 2000 for delivery which makes it 26,500 total. I made the payment in full through interswitch using my visa debit card. I stay in Owerri. There website stated that they deliver whithin 4 hours for orders made whithin Lagos and Abuja if it was made before 2:30pm. Orders made frim other locations will be delivered whithin 36hrs. On monday, 28th, I called there Customer care line(the number for placing orders) and a female agent replied.

I told her about what I ordered and when I should expect it. Her reply was "Tecno J7 is no longer in the market" "have you paid?"
I said "yes, through interswitch"
and she replied "HMMM...we're not working today. But I'll check tomorrow(Tuesday)"

Before I make any online purchase, I make sure I read their privacy policy, T&C's, etc. Theirs(Parktel) stated that they are not liable for any misinformation of any sort on thier site and shall refund any payments made if a Customer orders for an item that is no longer in stock or whose price has changed.

This morning I have tried several times to reach them but they are not picking my calls. They have not also called to to notify me that my order is out of stock so we could change the order or they refund me. Does it mean that If I did not called to ask for when my order would be delivered I would be left in the dark until I deem it fit to call and enquire? 26,500 ain't little for a student. Its big money.

Is it that Parktel have poor Customer service, or they are scammers? Those that have transacted with them before should shed more light please. I'm getting fed up and I'm running out of options.

Advice please.

Nigerians like complicating their selves, so you didn't not see konga, jumia or phone stores in your city to buy from, it's park well or whatever we have not heard before nor come across on the net you decided to buy from? my brother you are OYO
