BandA mostly estates and industrial areas...increase in tarrif for industrial areas= increase in prices of finished goods.

Tomorrow Nigerians will start asking why is dollar coming down and food prices going up yen yen yen.

Tinupoo is playing you the devil's advocate...give you with right hand, collect it back with left hand, nitoru olorun abi how Una talk am😂
If you improve supply to industrial areas you're then enabling scale, which would result in more employment, which would result in more people being able to afford the goods

Better to make back the money in 25 years and have people using the road than introduce expensive toll fees in a bid to make money back in 15 years, then end up not making it in 25 because nobody is using your road

That's why your
South East region keeps producing the worst set of leaders since independence.

A minister who has not initiated and completed a single project is the best since 1999,?

Have we really produced the worst set of leaders or have we simply demanded more from the people we have. Where are you from?

Umahi didn't answer Atiku's queries in all of his submissions.. instead he went on a merry go round about how they were prudent.. you are telling yourself that you are prudent in spending..

I would paraphrase..

The question was 'you all said this project is going to be a BOT (Build, Operate and transfer) project and that the government won't spend anything.. so the over N1trillion you took to FEC for approval over the same project, what was that for?! 🤔
He said he'll answer at a press conference nau

Food / Re: Police Place Chioma Okoli On Watchlist Over Erisco Product Review by melodyogonna(m): 5:40pm On Apr 08
aremubabs:

Yes, she did.

Her original post was in order. She wrote about buying a new tomato paste brand and found it too sugary. Then, she threw a question to her followers, wondering whether any of them had used the brand and whether they found it sugary too. In fact, she even wrote that perhaps she had brought a fake of the product or an expired one. It was great at this point.

But then, as the comments came in, she began to lose herself, and to take it personal. She began to lose her neutral position.

Then, someone claiming to be a sister of the owner of the tomato brand asked Chioma to stop spoiling her brother's business.

Chioma's foolish reply to this person was: "Tell your brother to stop killing Nigerians."

Perhaps, she didn't mean it that way. But that wasn't made with wisdom. A weighty accusation that many people will not take with arms folded.
Interesting to see Erisco has a case after all. This is the first time I'm seeing that she said the product was killing people, every article I've read on the issue just mentioned the part she was being objective.

There is no smoke without fire... She clearly said that the product is sugary and has killed or led to the death of people.

That is not review... That is defamation.

If all she did was objectively and respectfully review the product, there would have been neither fuss nor legal issues.

She is not the first to review a product online, and she won't be the last.

Even since her arrest and legal troubles, people have been reviewing products, services, etc online... Like Movies for example.
Yeah some other user brought my attention to the "killing people" comment, and yes, that is not a review at this point.

aremubabs:

It is not illegal. But truthfully, she didn't make a product review, she made an unfair review, especially when she told a relative of the brand to tell her brother to stop killing Nigerians.

For me, this is a case of libel. In Nigeria, libel can be a crime.

The only other charge I feel they truly have against her is cyberbullying.

Demarketing (or counter marketing) are ordinarily not crimes except fraud is roped into it.

I also don't see the reason for a charge of criminal conspiracy against her. Criminal conspiracy to do what? Demarket Erisco? Demarketing can be unsettling, but not a crime.

Organizations demarket their competitors every now and then, and it is considered a marketing strategy.
She said that? Lmao, what?! Interesting, the things I have seen are really oversimplification then
Food / Re: Police Place Chioma Okoli On Watchlist Over Erisco Product Review by melodyogonna(m): 5:00pm On Apr 08
Angelfrost:

Absolutely not... Public reviews are acceptable and common place.

However, posting unverified or unverifiable information aimed at damaging the reputation of a corporation is not only frowned upon by Law, but viewed as criminal.

Reviews should be done with facts and objectivity.
I see.
And what did she say exactly that went outside objective review and into the realm of image damage? The articles I have read about the incident might have been oversimplifying the whole situation

pek:
There are three things here
You don't know what a review is
You didn't read her comments and reply
You lack basic knowledge of the law
The last two are correct. On the second point I read somewhere that she said the tomato contained too much sugar, I never really saw the original video. On the last point, the answer is what I'm trying to ascertain, no?
Food / Re: Police Place Chioma Okoli On Watchlist Over Erisco Product Review by melodyogonna(m): 4:33pm On Apr 08

Well, the right or advisable thing to do is write or email the customer care center of the organization producing the product, and tag or copy Relevant government agencies like Nafdac and Consumer Protection.

When your mail is ignored, then you can go online.

Image is everything in consumer and client centered businesses.

To destroy someone's image is beyond criminal...!

Besides, this is not a case of product review... The gist is that she lied and made unsubstantiated claims intended to harm the reputation (image) of the company.

You should review with sound and verifiable facts... Have witnesses if possible.
Is it illegal then to make a public review?

It's an open market

No one is frustrating anyone .

Air peace should have made proper consultation with other airlines before splashing the average airline ticket to UK.

Win win for the travellers as the airlines would drag themselves to the extent of free falling the price .

Modified: As usual, tribal coloration must be added to my comments. Air peace is our own, we all want it's success but they can't be doing things in a wrong way without calling them out.

First Air peace trip from Nigeria to UK, they had issue in both Nigeria and UK, can everybody be wrong? Perhaps, Air peace should have a proper consultant teams that would help them to put things in order before taking any steps..

We are yet to pack the oracle from the ground, it has already started predicting. Below is the price between Ethiopian airlines and Air peace, N400k difference
Dey play. If they push Air Peace out of business they'll go back to their exorbitant fees.
