In UCL he has been missing for as long as I can remember. Doing well in the league is great, but I think that in order to be put in par with the best playerd in the world you need to perform in at least one of UCL/NT. Griezmann has lead his team to the final of UCL and the Euros. Neymar scored in UCL final and has been great for Brazil. . Bale has won 2 UCL and lead an underdog to Euros semi. Hazard has performed great in the league bar in one season which is the worst I have seen from a supposedly world class player. . He is extremely talented but until he's done it on the big stage, just nope.

Barca is a bigger club than psg yet they bought Neymar from barca. We all know when the bigger clubs want any player they usually get them. Big clubs dont rate Hazard that much to pursue him.

Griezmann won La Liga player of the year, and he is the only player in history of the award (well, since 2008/09) to break Ronaldo/Messi duopoly. Griezmann came 3rd in Ballon D'Or vote, after having amazing CL campaign, leading his team to the final (and a win, if not for an offside goal). Griezmann was voted best player of Euro 2016, leading his country to another final and grabbing a golden boot on the way - at the same tournament Hazard scored only 1 goal in the trashing of Hungary and was eliminated by the mighty Wales. I would love Griezmann at Man United.

Griezmann has performed and has shone on the world stage what a terrific player he is. At the moment, Griezmann is France's best player while I wouldn't consider that Hazard is even Belgium's best player. I rate Debruyne a tad bit higher.

remember that sometimes heavy defeats can lead to positives. Maybe this game could spur you guys on to good form (Chelsea after losing 3-0 to Arsenal last year) and the players learn from this.

My expectations this season is high. Treble for us or at least we do a clean sweep of all the trophies in England.

The guy has been an absolute beast since joining us. His hold up and link up play in the first half was fantastic to watch. Second half he's wasnt at his best, but still had a couple of chances. If Mikhi and Martial stayed till the end, he might have had his hattrick. Amazing start to his career at United, hope it continues.
What I like about him is his confidence. He might have missed a sitter and might be having a bad game, but he keeps trying harder and demands to get the ball. Doesn't go into hiding. Him and Matic have been pretty much perfect signings for us.

Back to Mbappe - for me definitely the best youngster in the world. Has it all put simply, mature, exceptional footballing IQ, flair, finishing ability and great athleticism.

That was Real Madrid level dominance from Chelsea on Atletico.
Could have easily been 5 goals for Chelsea with some better luck. Hazard from the highlights was a monster

Ronaldo will be looking to forget his early season struggles as Real Madrid aim to lay down a marker in their quest for a third consecutive Champions League at Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday.

The Portuguese remains the strong favourite to match Lionel Messi’s record of five Ballon d’Or wins for his starring role in guiding Madrid to a first La Liga and Champions League double in 59 years.

However, Messi’s sensational form for Barcelona and the attention garnered by Neymar’s 222 million euro ($265 million) world record move to Paris Saint-Germain last month has starved Ronaldo of the attention he craves.

All three were named as the finalists for FIFA’s Men’s Player Award for 2017 last week.

It is Ronaldo, though, who has so far failed to hit his stratospherically high standards this season as Real have fallen seven points behind Barca in the La Liga title race.

A five-game suspension for pushing a referee after being sent-off in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup has been the principle cause.

Ronaldo described the ban as “persecution” on the part of the Spanish federation.

If Chelsea win, they will be just 3 pts off United after having already played 3 of the top 6 from last season. Which would make their start excellent despite the loss from Burnley. A draw would be good for City though, will give them courage that they can do it this season.
