PoliticsRe: Boko Haram Forced the Closure of University Of Maiduguri by member479760: 8:52pm On Jul 12, 2011
it's a game and is on. Boko haram are visible and invisible, the invisible controls the affair and they are part of the government representative. the northern' states created them to actualize their dream of islamic states, since politically the process of having a full islamic states is slow then they go for hard-power. SANUSI activity is one of their agenda.

we are looking! they got to loose the oil money soon.

BusinessRe: Islamic Banking: It Won't Work, Sanusi Is Looking For Trouble - CAN by member479760: 7:59am On Jul 11, 2011
the issue here in nigeria is different from those of SA, USA, UK having islamic banking, there is hidden agenda here and that is why people are skeptical about it.

Why SANUSI put this agenda on his head while he has some other important things to do?

Introduction of islamic banking suppose to be simple without bottle neck, let the CBN set the rules and investors finish the job.

CBN conditions and interest rate to all banks should be equal, then if investors say i am muslim, i dont want profit, bank with me, that is their headache on how to operate and generate necessary funds.

If the profit from the farmlands and livestocks are not enough to run the so called islamic banking the we will turn to the tax-payer and oil-money to run it just because we want to present islamic banking - or what other options?
CareerRe: Giving Up Banking For London South Bank University by member479760: 7:31am On Jul 11, 2011
OP, if you wish to Phd level that will be fine, you can always get teaching job in Nigeria but if u just want to Ms level forget that thing dont waste your time, you have to consider you age, working in engineering field oversea is different from working in engineering field in nigeria pls take note.

as u said, u are a banker means your engineering experence is ZERO which means you have to start from ZERO level if you want to work oversea although naija situation is slightly different you need ony grammar.

another option: go for programming, with the knowledge u can quickly get youself something to do, with little capital you can setup a business, you can even get a job in that oil company (data collecting and analysis etc)

The traditional rulers of Lagos need to consult IFA, likewise, talk to their colleagues in Ibadan how dey solved OGUNPA disaster.

Again, natural disaster works destructively and their action cannot be 100% control with application of physical science, application of PS will only allows to forecast and take urgent action to save peoples lifes.

BusinessRe: Nigeria Is Trying To Develop Without Industrializing by member479760: 10:16am On Jul 10, 2011
OP - I feel you o! industrialization? when GEJ has imported CEO of world bank again to fix our economy. one thing is that the economy policy of world bank is disaster to any country and that is what we buying again.

lets hope for better, GEJ is not the one that wil head us to the right direction.

Sanusi is now developing the agric sector just jacking it any angle, he has realized that industrilization is not the culture of the land. so he decides to face the reality, i hope he develop more farmlands and make it collective farming then we can be exporting foods to our neighbors.

PoliticsRe: Courtesy Sanusi, Nigeria Shines At Global Cfa Conference by member479760: 8:29pm On Jul 08, 2011
One can't imagine that everyday one need to on the power generator in order to charge common phone, this is big issue we have in this country that our FG is not moving to solve and play a leading role globally in tackling this issue. but they find a cheap way to put themselves thru globally with different economy program that won't work at the end of the day.

ofcourse, whiteman will continue to crown them with awards, they will never tell them the fact. look at asians countries will are on the same level during 60's, where are we now compare to them? same place, but nigerians received global awards far more than these people.
