Pls mamas! It started like cramps on monday, now I don't know what to call it (whether contration) because it comes every 5 to 10 mins. I spent the whole of yesterday in the hospital and was told am ok. I did scan and it came out fine. Cervical length 44mm, os is closed. I have been very woried and confused. Good evening our dear mamas in the house. My son had measles at 6months 2weeks. He is 9months now. Will he still take the 9months measles immunization? May God keep n bless our los.

Hullo dear. Its possible for a 6month old to hv measles. If his mothet(u in dis case) , did nt receive d vaccine then there wont b any maternal immunity passedto him. Or if there was 'vaccine failure' in ur case. If ur child has measles already, DO NOT gv d measles vaccine. I ll say tk him to d hospital to b examined by a paed, so u ll b sure. Bt in all dont get too worked up. Next tym tho, protect ur infant frm such exposures. Cheers mama!

Good morning mamas. Pls I have a problem. Come 2 ny aid I beg. My baby is 6months n not due for the measles immunization. My aunt came visiting with her one year old son that has measles. I saw the rashes on his body. They came on sat n I stil saw the rash yesterday. What do I do pls. Can a 6months old contact measles? Can he receive d vaccine at 6months? Pls help me on what to do.

Congrats mytestimony on the birth of your princess. Enjoy ur vigilante well well. My baby is 4months already n I tink I av not had straight 4hrs sleep since he was born. The pains u felt is normal. What do u expect after been opened up to get a baby out? It will definitely pain u. Am sure u are much better by now.God bless n protect her for u.

It depends on many factor. Medically most paediatrician would tell u 6months for exclusive while few tells u, 4months is ok to start. 6months is mostly adviced because by then d baby's digestive system is very matured and to boost d baby's immune system more cos of d antibodies contained in breastmilk to fight infections and diseases. That's not to say by 4months d baby's digestive system is not matured though but it's more matured at 6months.

If u want to start at 4months, u av to consider the following; is d baby interested in food while u r eatin?, is d baby's neck stable?, can d baby sit assisted? Etc

For me, I started my baby cereal at 4months. Apart from the fact that my answer to d questions above is yes, breastmilk was no longer enough for him. When I feed him, he ll be shoutin in less than 30mins which was unlike him. So a paediatrician adviced I supplement and since then no more cryin.

So my dear, it's not compulsory u start at 4months. If u are producin well and ur baby at 4months is suckin well and gets full after each feed, pls continue till 6months.

Thanks dear. Am producing enough. I express like 200-220ml for him when am going 2 work, n he doesnt accept feeding bottles so we use spoon 2feed him. What do u think about the vitamin B12 deficiency mentioned in the link?

This gotme confused as its against d 6months ebf we all know wic is what I plan doing. I also came across this online. Pls which is actually best to follow?

My ds came a few hours ago. The midwife called him a miracle cuz I started pushing when I was just 3cm dilated. She thought I was joking but shocked when she actually saw his head come out. Gratefully, she asked me to obey my body out of hospital protocol.

Same thing happened with my first daughter. I have never known what it is to be 4cm dilated how much more 10cm. This can only be God. Comprehensive story later but we should never relent in our prayers even during the most painful period of delivery

U dont need it. My baby is 3months n still using the d same one from birth.I only got one baby soap I took the hospital coz container of the bathwash is big n I didnt want it filling my hosp bag. So if ur bathwash isnot too big, u can decide not 2 buy any.
