Good evening my wonderful mamas. Sorry av been mia. Lost my fon n just got a new one 2day. Another sorry my birth story is coming late. I delivered on monday 17th nov heres my birth story. I started having little contraction on n off since thurs. It got more painful on friday. At night my mun advised I go 2 d hospital to b checked if I was in labor(been having false labor fr days) n hw far i had gone. The nurse checked me n said i was 2cm dilated. I went back home n managed till in d morning. The contracrions reduced in d morning.went for walks in d morning, n night of sat. I could nt sleep all tru sat nite. By sunday morning around 10am,I called a neighbor dats a nurse to check me coz i didnt want 2go 2 d hospital til i was like 5-6cm.she said I was still 2cm. The contractions were getting more painful but I didnt understand d intervals. At around 1pm, she checked again n said I was stil 2cm.from dat time I sensed I was in trouble coz I new I wasnt progressing. By 6pm I couldnt hold it again n left fr d hospital. At d hospital the nurse checked n said I was 3cm but dat she made me get to 4cm (dont understand wat she meant). I didnt even go 2 my bed I went downstairs n was managing 2walk around. Wen dcontraction comes, I wil stop n den continue. By 10.30pm, another nurse checked n said I was stil 4cm. I got worried n even cried coz I couldnt imagine moving frm 2cm-to just 4cm since morning.dey checked my bp n said it was 200/130. Another dr checked again n said it had dropped to 180/120. They called the medical director n she said dey should giv me an injection (magnesium somtin..).she said if I dont deliver by 5am, I wil av go for d option of cs. My mum, dh n i didnt sleep fr al tru. I was in great pain. At about 4am, I started tellin my mum dat am about 2 die. I knew I just wouldn't make it. By 5am, I was checked n was just 5cm. D dr came n checked d heart beat of d baby n said I should just accept d cs. Dh agreed immediately but my mum felt I should stil b given more time. I begged her in tears 2 accept it n wish me success in d operation. I cried so much as I was been prepared fr d theatre. I weeped coz tot of al I had gone 2 n stil ending up cs.At about 6.30am, I taken 2 d theatre. I watched how busy dey were n asked dem id dey had started operating me n dey said dey wil start in 5mins. Like 3secs afta my question I just heard d cry of my baby. I cried more at d site of my baby. He weighed 3.85kg.Sorry fr d very long birthstory. 12 Likes |

Glory b 2 almighty God for his abundant favour. Our prince arrived yesterday. My heart is so full of joy as I cuddle my bundle of joy. May God deliver oda pushing mamas safely and bless all those ttc with children that will b a source of joy d parents. Birth story 2come later. 13 Likes |

Good evening my dear mamas. I went 2 d hospital yestdy n d doc said she would do a membrane sweep. I was happy as I av heard it induces labor, but wen she tried doining it she said it wasnt possible coz my cervix was completly closed. I had 2 leave d hospital without d membrane sweep o. 40weeks gone. Edd is tomorrow. God help me and other mamas deliver safely. Ameen. I never knew I would reach my edd before deliverying. Started my maternity leave from 38weeks coz I am deliverying with my mum n had 2 move down 2 her place in good time. How long past edd does the hospital start thinking of inducing labor? 2 Likes |

Suzyt:Are u asthmatic? Am experiencing same at d moment n its making my exercise difficult but I used to b asthmatic n it cameup now as a result of fumigation dat was done in our house. I tink u should complain to your doc coz I plan to call my doc too. Medication will depend on hw severe, how old pregnancy is, n if u r actually asthmatic or wat is causing d breathing difficulty. So I suggest u see ur doc. |

@halimattt, I tink u should do little exercise if u can, 2 kickstart ur contractions. I read some pple stay 4cm dilated even from 34weeks n will go into labor weeks/days later when contractions start. Mayb the hospital tinks u dont need induction to bring the contractions. Just pray, exercise n u can even seek a 2nd opinion from another hospital. |

beedam:Am experiencing same pain too. It makes me even walk with my legs apart when standup. Initially I even tot I was going to av a boil, but noticed no boil at all. Complained to my doc n he didnt feel its anytin serious. He said its baby's weight on my pelvic. Hope other experienced mamas wil explain more. Am 38weeks +. |

mytestimony:Eyyah. Dats y pay on delivery is d best option fr online shopping. I live in kd, but made them deliver all my items to my friend in lag, so I did pay on delivery. After all the shopping she sent all the things to me. |

Good morning my dear mamas. Pls at what rate does the baby add weight from 37weeks? Did a scan at 37weeks and baby was weighing 3.4kg. The scan report said weight in upper limit of normal. Am so scared and wondering wat d weight wil b at birth. Praying I give birth by 38-39weeks. |

vickilafab:I didnt want to say too much on them so it wont look like am marketing for them.  . They actually seem to b d best. Though I made dem deliver all my items 2 my friend in lag n she now sent dem to me. All d items were really nice. The only issue I had with them is in my last order where they gave me a wrong color of bouncer. I called them n dey appologised n asked me 2 send it back to lag for exchange or refund. Am thinking of send it back during the week. |

mytestimony:I tink the size of the stomach depends on the position baby is lieing. As long as ur scans are showing baby is growing at the expected rate then al is fine. I wasnt showing even till 7months. A friend came 2 visit me den, stayed for hours n al she noticed is dat i added a little weight . But u need 2 see how big my tommy is now. All the 2 docs I see commented on the size of d tommy Looking too big. |

beedam:I did almost all of my shopping online. Used simplyinfants.com. u can also check kiddiestreasure.com, n I tink tthere's one babyspace.com too. I actually bought from only simplyinfants. Used pay on delivery n they deliver on d day I make my orders. Most online shops deliver faster wit pay on delivery option. |

Thanks Preshila, tchiwinne n vickilafab for ur responses. Will tell them to exchange d bouncer for d rocker. I actually got d bouncer coz I was planning 2 add d 3-in-1 fisher price rocker/swing. But red some negative reviews on it, so will b getting just a swing when baby is like a month old by Gods grace. @Vickilafab, a bouncer is diff from a rocker. I Didnt know too til I started my shopping n checked them online. @Donatee, how u n jay boy? Long time. Congrats for knacking am 1 touch. @Mama Abike, u have been seriosly mia.
