I get that. My point is she side stepped that. Something that is a very crucial discussion to have about inequality. Only to talk about petty family issues instead. With her platform and the level of her success, as she has recognized that inequality exists, she can lend her voice against it instead of saying women should deal with it. Often times important topics get lost in public discussions of inequality because these successful women are afraid of crushing their partners' or prospective partners' egos that they end up making it about a discussion of how the man is the head of the house when nobody really cares. At least I know I don't care who's head in anyone's house.

If you're interested in talking about inequality, leave your marriage out of it. That microphone wasn't given to you to come massage your husband's ego. If you love and respect him, I'm sure he knows that already.
