Fingerprint technology is now becoming a regular feature in new devices.. Part of the reason is because of the speed and the selfie taking functionality it performs..

But imagine alittle twist to the story... Changing of the position of the sensor!
Yes... Not on the home button like Samsung or iPhone, not on the back like infinix and other versions of Tecno... But somewhere much more convinient for a large device... On the side!

This is a very smart thinking by the manufacturers... Using the front or back fingerprint sensor on a large device like the Phonepad 3 would pose a bit of a problem so they moved it to the side!

CONVENIENCE
With the new position, you don't have to consciously unlock your phone unlike the home button sensor and back sensor... You unlock your device effortlessly... Just by holding it!

SPEED
it takes 0.2 secs (0.1 secs slower than the back sensor) to unlock or take a selfie with the side fingerprint sensor. But the difference is actually irrelevant, not quite noticeable

ADDED FUNCTIONALITY
Not only can you lock your device and take selfies with the sensor, you can also scroll up and down a page with it... This enhances one hand functionality, which is a big plus, considering the size of the device!

As an education enthusiast, how I feel about this goes beyond my love for the brand. What triggers the anger in me is people’s nonchalant attitude to what is right, what is wrong, and what is obtainable.

For many people that spell TECNO as techno, I feel very sad that some of them have gone through the four walls of a University. It is not contestable that we must have stumbled on the correct spelling of TECNO at different point in our lives, so in instances where you are unsure of a word, a little research will make you knowledgeable and stand out.

TECNO is a brand that is loved by many Nigerians whether we accept it or not, so our love for the brand begins to show in our understanding of it; hence how we spell the name.

This is a very unreasonable thread because it is obvious this is a move to bring down a competing brand. The thread is pointless because I have not seen many people trying to tell their C9, I have not tried to sell mine. I even intend trading it for the new Phantom 6, God bless her soul. Can all you competitors stop playing with our heads? It's not funny anymore.

Why will you break the bank to purchase a phone and the battery is the problem? Even the so called big brands; Apple and the shit likes have battery issues. Even though you want to bring down your competitors, be reasonable in your judgement.

It's still in the market, it's just sold out on Jumia. More units will definitely be provided for Jumia to sell.

I use the L8 but I think it's heavy. I must admit that the battery is good, and I like the fact that it is metal, I just think its heavy.

Who Infinx epp? Tecno L6 all the way, although my best Tecno phone for now has to be the L8. The battery is to die for. Tecno is trying sha.

If there is ever a phone that deserves the title of a best friend, it is the Tecno L8. With the poor condition of power in the country, Tecno has thought it wise to satisfy our needs by producing a phone with 5050MAH battery, thereby allowing it to go three days without being charged.

The L8 is currently the phone with the largest usage. Its metallic design, 5.5 HD screen and the OTG presence has definitely proven that L8 is here to stay. Its 1GB RAM is not something to worry about, as the marshmallow is there to put things in place.

The battery
5050 MAH battery size!!!!
It comes with a 5050MAH battery which can also be used as a power bank. It can be used to charge another device, thereby saving you the money ought to be used to purchase a power bank.
One would wonder how long a 5050MAH battery will charge for; let me burst your bubble, it charges really fast (as long as it is being used with its original charger, or at least a matching one). This is one of the coolest things about the L8. You get to use a powerful battery which charges fast but never discharges fast.
OTG Support
The L8 has the OTG support intended to make the device even more user friendly. With the presence of the OTG, mobile devices are able to communicate with one another. The L8 is able to connect with other peripheral devices such as mouse, keyboard and what have you. This interestingly means that your L8 can serve as your mini laptop.
The Camera
