On behalf of myself, *Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Adekunle Obasa, and the Obasa Family of Ikemo Royal House Ojo Town, Ojo LGA, Lagos State.* I wish to address and clarify the recent malicious rumors circulating about my alleged dealings with *Hon. Mudashiru Obasa*.
I want to clarify to the public that I, *Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Adekunle Obasa,* born August 29, 1970, and a member of *the Obasa Family from Ojo Town, Ojo LGA, Lagos State,* I'm not connected with Mudashiru Obasa, who hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, despite his role as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and he is not in any way connected to my family root of "Obasa" In Ojo LGA, Lagos State.
To prove that, I completed my primary education at St. Michael Primary School, Ojo Town and obtained my West African School Certificate from Awori College, Ojo Town, in 1989. I also hold a Diploma in Law from Lagos State University, Ojo Town. My political career includes serving as a former member of the Nigerian National Assembly representing Ojo Constituency in the 8th and 9th National Assembly, Special Assistant to Hon. Oladipo Akinola Olaitan, and local government chairman of the PDP Union Group Caucus.
On the other hand, Mudashiru Obasa, born March 11, 1973, is known for his role as Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly since 2015 and he's originally from Ogun State.
*The recent rumors falsely claim that Mudashiru Obasa has brokered a deal with me on behalf of Obasa family root to acquire a membership of the Obasa family root in Ojo Town for his gubernatorial ambitions in Lagos State for 2027 is untrue.* It has also been suggested that this deal involves Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, also from Ogun State who allegedly influenced Hon Mudashiru to bury his late father in Lagos to avoid the alleged error of the current Deputy governor remains their business as none of the Obasa family root members is in the know of this.
I want to also make it clear that these rumors are untrue, malicious, and unfounded.
There is no agreement or transaction involving Mudashiru Obasa and the Obasa family regarding the sale or transfer of family root for him to claim which sounds very funny and fraudulent.
If any concrete evidence emerges linking Mudashiru Obasa to these rumors, I will not hesitate to pursue legal action.
I also wish to emphasize that my focus is on representing my people effectively, and I am committed to them.

SultanOfAbia: Portable need to be taught a serious lesson.
If not, he will repeat the same violence again. And come online to beg for forgiveness. Then go and attack people again Then run back to SM to cry for forgiveness. Go to twitter and see women defending him That is why we call women "Fish Brains" That is why if you beat a woman up Then come back and start crying like portableShe will accept you back
Until you deal with him, he will never learn Only women and children are easily decieved by portable crying online.
As a man, we are not easily fooled by fake tears online. Portbale should face the law. Period
He must be jail.I can never pity him even with his crocodile tears, never!
I am not a fans of Obi but he is right at least they have arrested the culprits and police can continue their investigation while the market should be open to enable people to look for their daily bread.
Chinedu00Z: I know I've made lots of mistakes. I know I fell off very early in life. I know I've achieved a lot and done so many good things for my family. Money is not the problem for me now, but I still feel something missing in me. My siblings and close friends are all graduates, except me.
Sometimes I get shy when I'm around them, and it makes me feel sad. I've been having this thoughts of going back, but I'll be 26 June this year, I don't know if it's too late, or how it might look to everyone.
Your advice please!!!
Just go to NOUN na to buycot all this JAMB stress.
🚨 Yetunde, a final-year student, thought she was going on an innocent date—but instead, she walked straight into the hands of a butcher.
It all started with a simple Facebook connection. Yetunde met Abdulrahman Mubarak Balogun online, and they began chatting. On the surface, he seemed like a perfect gentleman—a respected cleric with a clean social media presence, always posting religious messages and photos with high-ranking figures.
But behind the polished profile was a predator in disguise.
One fateful day, while attending a naming ceremony, Yetunde received a call. Without hesitation, she dropped her food and rushed off to meet her Facebook crush.
That was the last time anyone saw her alive.
How She Was Found When Yetunde didn’t return home, her family grew anxious. Calls to her phone went unanswered, and soon, panic set in.
Desperate, her family reported her missing at the Oyun Police Station in Kwara State.
Using her phone records, police traced her last known contact—to Abdulrahman Mubarak Balogun.
At first, he denied even knowing her.
But when authorities insisted on searching his apartment, his story changed.
He now claimed Yetunde had suffered an asthma attack and died.
The police weren’t convinced. And when they stepped inside his house… they walked into a nightmare.
The Horror Inside His Home Inside his small apartment, police found:
🚨 Blood splattered everywhere. 🚨 A bucket filled with dismembered human remains. 🚨 A kitchen table covered in bloodstains.
Yetunde’s body had been cut into pieces and soaked in an unknown liquid.
If she truly had an asthma attack, why was her body butchered?
This wasn’t a natural death. This was cold-blooded murder.
Was She His Only Victim? Now the biggest question remains: Why did he do it?
🔴 Was this for money rituals? 🔴 Was he selling body parts? 🔴 Or was this cannibalism?
People in his community were left shocked and horrified. A man they once respected as a cleric was now being paraded as a killer.
And the scariest part? This may not be his first time.
A Chilling Warning Ladies, not all that glitters on social media is gold. A handsome face and a religious profile don’t always mean safety.
What do you think happened? Was this a ritual killing, organ trafficking, or something even darker?

GistMedia0: A USA-based Ghanaian man has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend through a virtual wedding, igniting widespread debate online as someone held the bride's hand for him!
Viral footage from the ceremony shows the groom attending via FaceTime while someone physically present stood in for him, holding the bride’s hands on his behalf. A microphone was placed near the phone so he could recite his vows. Despite the effort to make the ceremony appear normal, the bride’s straight-faced expression throughout the event raised eyebrows.
Social media users had mixed reactions. One person asked, “What’s the difference between this and a spiritual marriage?” while another questioned, “What’s the point of getting married if it’s virtual?” However, others defended the couple, saying that love is what truly matters.
While the debate rages on, the couple is now officially married—virtually or not!
Samantha125: Good day nairalanders, when I logged out of this forum a couple of days ago, I had no intentions of coming back online until later on in the year, I even deleted my nairaland app.
But when I came across this YouTube channel during the week, I had to wait until it's the weekend so that I can redownload my nairaland app since I didn't delete my nairaland account, because this requires the options of the jollof nation... ... For me it's quite shocking because I've never came across a black SA guy who's not only dating a Nigerian lady, but married to one because it's quite rare seeing black SA guys dating foreign African ladies the same way it's rare seeing Nigerian ladies dating SA guys.
In my opinion, this guy has made history for not only black SA guys, but for Pedi guys because he's Pedi and not Zulu, so don't come for Zulus...😅😅😅... And I like the fact that he's been teaching her Sepedi and she understands the language, she probably speaks it as well.
