meshpips: ACCESS BANK
Buy between 6.00 - 5.80
Hold until 8.10 - 8.15
You can take partial profit at 7.10 -7.15
NOTE: The recommendation above is based on PRICE analysis only. I will do the price - volume analysis and post my findings later. Analysis for ACCESS with a simple chart containing channels and horizontal support/resistance levels only. This particular call went right into profit. There was no draw down. This call was made at a period when everyone else was crying "bear market" |

Another trade recommendation showing my outlook for UACN
Someone on this thread insulted me just because of this counsel that I gave the poster.
|
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by meshpips(m): 5:47am On Jan 12, 2020 |
meshpips: The price - volume analysis shows that the fair (or true) price of ACCESS is at 5.761
So the buy from 5.80 as seen in the price only analysis is pretty much in order.
Partial profit taking level still remains 7.10 - 7.15 region
NOTE: If the trading data for year 2008 is considered, the analysis will become skewed toward the twenty something naira handle at which the stock opened that year. So I completely removed the 2008 trading data before running the price - volume analysis. My analysis for ACCESS last year. |

Dwayne22: Someone should please answer this Use TigerWit. They are the only A - book broker I know in Nigeria. All the others are B - book brokers. global.tigerwit.com B - book brokers take the opposite side of your trade since your orders are not passed to the interbank market. This brings a conflict of interest because your loss becomes their gain. It is noteworthy to state that B - booking is very legal. Brokers take the risk of doing this because they are aware of the statistics - 90 percent of traders will lose 90 percent of their capital within 90 days of trading. |
Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by meshpips(m): 11:04am On Jan 07, 2020 |
It is known that 90% of Traders will lose 90% of their account within 90 days of trading.
Have we ever wondered why there is such a high failure rate?
If everything we have been told by Brokers or authors of books are really true then why do so many still fail?
Take out time to ponder on these things.
Because of the IF . . . THEN statement above, many years ago, I decided to try out the REVERSE of everything I found in books.
It turned out to be a very enlightening adventure.
Today, I question just about everything they wrote for us in books and have found out that they KNOWINGLY set us off on the WRONG path! |

GladmanGoddey: You should always have a stop loss in your trade, it maybe a fixed stop loss or an area on the chart where you plan to get out if price goes beyond or closes beyond that area( This is personally how i trade). But not having a stop at all is probably how most people blow their account. They take small wins and big losses Okay, I hear you. |
Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by meshpips(m): 10:20am On Jan 07, 2020 |
GladmanGoddey: no stop loss? Using stop loss is not the only way to manage ones risk. Your position sizing when compared with the ATR of the instrument in question is another. When you will need your Broker to honour your stop loss most desperately, I can guarantee you that all these B-book Brokers most Nigerians are trading on will NEVER honour it. So then comes the question: Why use it? |

You post trade, post stop loss, price pass your stop loss by 18pips, you come still dey continue with your lies. Even your demo account, its not profitable and you dey find newbie to bamboozle here.
I give up on you. Sincerely, I am utterly amazed at how the "older" Traders here have not supported the suggestion I gave regarding putting a link to our myfxbook account in our signature. Maybe it is high time we created a different thread, one in which REAL traders can discuss while we leave this one for those that are content with just posting trade alerts. I am seriously considering dissociating myself from this crop of traders that have blatantly refused to show some transparency in their dealings. @seun does not believe in FX, this could have been a lovely opportunity for us to show him (with results) that FX trading is legit and truly profitable yet we drag our feet and remain reluctant to do so. There comes a time when one must stand for the truth even if means standing alone. I dare to be different from the crowd. Goodluck to you guys in your endeavour. |

Even if you wanna say because of privacy and security, just move a little amount into a different account and let everyone see your progress. Let's make up our mind to be as transparent as possible in our trade related dealings this year. @infofirst, @redsox, @theyoda, @currentprice, @capitals etc. Can we post links to our myfxbook and show how we are faring? Please let's do this and work toward sanitizing this industry. Thanks everyone. |

saxy4c: My guy, if you like listen or not, I beg you in the name of whatever being you reverence the most, to stick with the retracement levels that work for you and have also worked for our great forefathers that used the sun and moon and certain levels to do whatever they did back then. All these modern modifications and additions are just invented to complicate things by people who are basically marketers and would just confuse you with big big talk.
I am sure there are generous people out there, even in the forex trading business, that would guide you on how to use simple profitable and time tested systems, yet, let me ask you a question:
why would a trader who claims to be profitable also want to make money off newbies on teaching rubbish courses, selling complicated books, begging to manage accounts, selling signals etc. instead of just trading?
If she/he is that good, instead of wasting time on teaching the crowd [which sorry to say is built of a lot of mumus who will still lose their money because of the wrong mindset, even if they were educated by the best systems/traders - i know it from a really big broker], why would they not just trade well, make a shipload of money and spend her/his time enjoying life in retirement after making millions [my forex goal is to buy one of the US virgin Islands that has oil one day ].
Or am i missing something? Now, take a look at this guy propagating this 127 level, he goes round different forums postulating different theories with big big grammar but after he gets a prey and does the usual he goes into hiding. Is that not enough to make you run away from anything he says? Also take a look at the guys that attack me the most on here, they both have a management page asking for I think from 200usd to manage for you and share profits, do you think a profitable trader would have time to trade your 200usd religiously, looking for change as commission? I learnt a big lesson recently! But they don't like me because I tell you the truth - by showing you profitable trades and simple methods, they in turn lose prospective targets to prey on abi?
P.S What I know is that: THOSE WHO CAN TRADE - TRADE[Why we are here] Those who can not - do everything else! Young man, I put up an open challenge to you this day. Create a link to myfxbook and post it here and I will do same. Let's both keep trading on the account, after 3 months let's see who will have results to show. If you agree, let me know. We will start in January 2020. |

The attached file shows Chapter 9 of Scott Carney's book The Harmonic Trader dedicated to the 127 projection level. I rest my case.

saxy4c: Sometimes you guys remind me why I've not mingled with my country men in trading for a long long time now. The psychology amazes me. You mean the USDCAD that got a good 1R profit or the USDCHF that got double profits on the risk I took was not a solid setup? Why dont you trade your perfect setups and leave my faulty trades alone? All I see is daily enquiry after enquiry to guide or advice the so called newbies you claim to be protecting. You've been here for many years and you should have started a large mentoring program by now or empower more traders but no I don't see anything close to that. You think I ever want to emulate people like you? No! I don't need your trade advice. Give it to your kind that want to remain here and only castigate but have nothing to show for your vast years of trading. I hope my earlier post about risk to reward and win rate educated you? |
Business › Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 19 by meshpips(m): 11:53am On Dec 27, 2019 |
saxy4c: Most importantly be wary of any trades that have higher risks than returns, that's not a sustainable trading method. A little education will be of benefit to you. Risk to reward ratio in itself does not mean ANYTHING! I will explain . . . Until and unless you place your risk to reward ratio side-by-side you WIN RATE, you are not having a proper outlook of things. If my reward is typically 3 times my risk, I only need to be right 34% of the time (win rate) to remain profitable. When a trader talks, his depth and understanding of the simple concepts about the market are revealed. @saxy4c, I can boldly say that you still have a pretty long way to go in understanding concepts about this market. I don give you FREE EDUCATION now. Please learn to respect those that have gone ahead of you. |
