Rumors had it, Ojukwu was dressed in skirt and blouse on his way to the Ivory Coast. When I asked, what about his beards? I was told he didn't look out of place as a lot of ibo ladies looked just like that!!!
Any Igbo lady that looks as you described must be a Yeruba runaway child who despised the Yoruba culture of GBOMOGBOMO.

Also Ojukwu can dress in any attire he wants, which is not a bad thing . But Awolowo , in his ape looking appearance, committed suicide at old age after he had squandered his loots.

this is just ridiculous. how do you loot from a broke government undecided
I guess you must be a beneficiary of SHONEKONS loot . . . . .

There was never a period when Nigeria was broke. Shonekon looted Nigeria blind in the brief period of his governmenet, and in concert with his fellow rogues, arranged a tranfer of power to the millitary so as to cover up his atrocities. At the end of the day, they sold some gullible Nigerians the dummy that the government was interrupted by millitary palace coup .

Shonekon and Abacha are in the same league . . . .

It is a well documented fact that Awolowo committed suicide . . . Any other story was cooked up by Yeruba press so as to preserve the dignity of their hero.

2011 poll: Jonathan, IBB talks end in stalemate

President Goodluck Jonathan has met with ex-military president Ibrahim Babangida over the 2011 elections and his plan to bid for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ticket.

But the meeting ended as soon as it started because the President’s intention to sound out Babangida on the possibility of getting him to step down failed.

Babangida, according to sources close to the meeting, stuck to his guns, vowing to contest the election.

The meeting was held in Minna at the home of Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar, former Head of State, who handed over power to President Olusegun Obasanjo at the outset of the return to civil rule in 1999. Gen. Abubakar brokered the meeting.Jonathan reportedly told Babangida of his intention to run, stressing that the pressure from the Southsouth to contest for president "is too much to resist."

A source said: "The President said he decided to meet with Babangida to inform him of his intention to seek a fresh term in office.

"He said courtesy demanded that he should put Babangida in confidence and solicit his support."

But Babangida reportedly explained that there was no going back on his ambition to contest. He was quoted as saying that he had nothing against President Jonathan but added: "I have also been under pressure from my people since 2007 to run for this office."

He then wished the president well in his electoral pursuit. The source added: "The two leaders will now meet on the battlefield."

It was learnt that with Babangida’s comments, the parties knew it was time to call it a day. The meeting lasted only 10 minutes.

Although the Director (Media and Communications) of the Babangida Presidential Campaign Organisation, Kassim Afegbua, declined comments on the meeting last night, top brass in the two leaders’ camps confirmed the meeting.

There are strong indications that the President and his strategists are targeting 10 of the 29 PDP states as their stronghold for the PDP primaries. They met on Wednesday night to review their plans. There are fears that governors may not back him.

The President’s camp is targeting 100 per cent in those 10 states. It will join the scramble for 40 to 50 per cent of the votes with other presidential aspirants in other states.

It was gathered that the review meeting with the President was attended by the National Chairman of the PDP, Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo.

Another source said: "At the meeting, it was agreed that Jonathan camp’s target is to get 100 per cent support from 10 governors and fight its way through the primaries in other states."

A statement by the Babangida campaign organization spokesman Kassim Afegbua criticized the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Southwest Zone for endorsing Jonathan for 2011.

"The reported endorsement of the undeclared intention of President Jonathan by the Southwest PDP does not reflect the actual permutations on ground."

Nzeribe was making money off the bodies of his fellow ibos while Ojukwu, abandoned them, dressed as a girl and ran away to the Ivory Coast. Damn ibos, unbelievable stuff.
Ojukwu left and returned as a gallant soldier he had always been.  . . .

But Awolowo the devil committed suicide because he had squandered all his loots.  . . .

Also, another Yeruba hero, Abiola, committed suicide in prison because he spent all his evil money during the presidential campaign with the hope that he would loot Nigeria blind like Awolowo did during his stint as Finance Minister. . . .  Unfortunately for him, IBB bursted his burble . . . lol embarassed embarassed embarassed

So because nobody died,it means it was arranged.i guess you will also make the same analysis when buhari dethroned shagari simply because shagari was not killed. .olodo,it is called a palace coup.
No!! What happened was a peaceful looting transition . . . Anyway, small yeruba mind like may not be able to decipher the coded evil arrangement concerted by SHONEKON.

~Bluetooth:
Nzeribe fought a just cause ? Wow. .dont say what you don't know jo.he sold out and followed ibb helping him with his transition to democratic president which failed and he made illegal money from the regime.his disposition then is what ojukwu stands for today.what is it with ibo's azzkissing with ibb ? I guess it's the money maybe ojukwu is broke.who knows ?
You can try as hard as you deemed fit, you will never be able to reduce the umblemished record of Ojukwu to that of Awolowo  and MKO who committed suicide. . . . One committed suicide in his bath tub and the other committed suicide in jail.

And ARTHUR NZERIBE was busy making (il)legitimate money working VERY closely with babangida during his regime ? Lwkmd
Arthur Nzeribe fought for a just cause by ensuring that a Kleptomaniac like Abiola did not become the president of Nigeria. . . .  Although, Nigeria leadership was later handed over to another Yeruba demon, OBJ, who might even win the the world's worst president of the century.

There was never a period Nigeria stopped earning huge revenues from oil export. . . .  But as a little smart ngbatiman, Shonekon used the small opportunity to milk Nigeria dry, and then handed over to Abacha so as to conceal his atrocities. . . . .  He thought all Nigerians are that gullible.

But Ojukwu is still living peacefully and happily, enjoying his legitimate wealth and old age. . . .  On the otherhand, your hero, Awolowo the great coward, commited suicide after all his looted money finished.

Ojukwu is not Awolowo who looted Nigeria blind and later commited suicide at old age. . . Ojukwu's father was once one of the richest men in Africa, and Ojukwu Jnr still remains one of the richest Nigerians who made their money legitimately.

Names of People who have won Nigeria looting contest: Awolowo, Idiagbon, Babangida, Shonekon, and Obasanjo. . . . Yeruba nation has the highest number of winners. . . lol lipsrsealed

So nigeria that had no access to oil in the nigeri delta region and at the same time fighting a war has money that someone could steal ? Use your head na or you think everybody has that ibo-thieving blood in them.
immediately after the war,he left gowon military government but your ibo brother was romancing with ibb during his era.you can see the different ?
Please can you tell us how Awolowo made his money if not through the proceeds of the illegal government he served. . .  He looted Nigeria blind  and became rich overnight.

But at the end of the day, all the money he looted went down the drain. And thats why he commited suicide at old age.

Awolowo as the finance minister financed the war and finished you guys without borrowing any money despite the fact that the gowon government had no access to the oil-rich niger delta region that was under ojukwu's control.the ibo generation would have been successful if they have had a leader like Awolowo.
After looting Nigeria blind as finance minister, what did he achieve . . . .   I guess suicide at an old age.

Also don't worry about the well being of Ndigbo . .  Igbos were already successful  before Awolowo and you Ngbatimen saw the opportunity to loot Nigeria.

That can only happen in Yoruba- Land. . . .
