1025:What makes Soludo a failure and agent of Obasanjo? . . . I hope you are not reasoning with your anus. ![]() |
Atiku/Soludo ticket will surely will the 2011 presidential election. |
hahahahahahaha . . . . . Jonathan and his gang are playing with the wrong guy. Soludo can never be intimidated or cowed into joining GEJ 2011 bandwagon. |
OBJ and GEJ are already losing the 2011 battle!!! |
A Presidential aspirant, ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar yesterday mocked ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo over the loss of the South-West by the Peoples Democratic Party. In what appeared a retaliation of Obasanjo’s swipe at him on Thursday, the ex-Vice-President also said that with the victory of Governor Rauf Aregbesola, "We too dey laugh ooo!" He said ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo should be blamed for the loss of states being controlled by the Peoples Democratic Party in the South-West to the Action Congress of Nigeria. He also asked Obasanjo to retire to his "huge fortune in Ota" instead of making a "fool of himself" Atiku, who made his position known in a statement in Abuja through his Campaign Organization said the Court of Appeal, Ibadan Division’s declaration of the candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Rauf Aregbesola, winner of the 2007 governorship election in Osun State) was a "consequence of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s mismanagement of the PDP in the entire Southwest. The statement added: "We are reaping the consequences of Obasanjo’s gross mismanagement of not only the PDP in the South west but the entire country. We too dey laugh ooo! "Obasanjo should just get out of the party so that we can rebuild the party we formed. All Obasanjo had done in his southwest zone was to tear down the party, cause divisions and force out credible and loyal party members," the statement said. "The organization advised the former President to retire quietly to his huge fortune in Ota and Abeokuta rather than continue to make a fool of himself." http://thenationonlineng.net/web3/news/20091.html |
MzDarkSkin:Nice comment!! |
@poster Thats a well accepted truth from time immemorial. |
It is time for Ndigbo to apply the Bismarckian type of diplomacy by supporting a Northerner - a move that would probably benefit them more than any alliance with a Southerner like GEJ. . . . As for me, Atiku already has my vote so long as he picks someone like Prof Soludo or Ken Nnamani as his running mate. |
HIV test and fertility test!!! |
na_so:Are you not the one that once wrote that Atiku is a naive politician? . . . I guess you have come back to your senses. |
Another dumb thread by the frustrated Hispanic hag . . . . . . ![]() |

mikeansy:My brother I still cant fathom why Uwaeche went ahead to sully his reputation . . . Imagine, an endorsement which was not co-signed by the Vice president of Ohaneze, even the national treasurer of Ohaneze publicly said that he doesnt know where Uwaeche got all the money used to pay for the adverstisement of the fake endorsement in all the national dailies. . . . . . Even most of the respected Imeobi members did not take part in the said meeting that approved the endorsement. |
Andre Uweh:I think Uwaeche is the one that should resign with immediate effect. . . . . A presidential endorsement and tenure extention of his leadership which was approved by a miniscule bunch of rogues can never stand. . . . . . Uwaechue and his gang should exclude Ndigbo in this suicidal mission which they have embarked on |
Enugu Vice President General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organisation, Ohaneze Ndigbo, Chief Elechi Onyia, yesterday faulted the recent endorsement of the 2011 presidential aspiration of President Goodluck Jonathan by some members of the organisation led by its President-general, Ambassador Raph Uwechue, saying Igbo are yet to endorse any of the aspirants. Onyia who is also a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) said it was totally unacceptable for some members of Ohaneze to hold an elders’ committee (Ime Obi) meeting of the body without due consultation with the sole aim of endorsing a presidential aspirant that is yet to be endorsed by a political party. “How can anybody think of endorsing an aspirant that is yet to become a candidate of a political party. Jonathan is still an aspirant and as we talk, no other socio-cultural organisation, including the Arewa Consultative Forum and Afenifere has endorsed any aspirant. But because, some people who call themselves Ohaneze leaders are in a hurry to protect their political interests, they had to say they have endorsed an aspirant. “The purported Ime-Obi meeting where they endorsed Jonathan was a charade; the meeting was not called in accordance with the constitution of Ohaneze. That one man decides to support Jonathan should not be misconstrued to mean that Ndigbo have thrown their support to Jonathan. They should allow him to first become a candidate of his party before talking about endorsement,” Onyia who is also the Secretary General of Enugu State Development Association stated. He also berated Uwechue for “single-handedly” announcing the extension of his tenure by two years, stating that since other similar moves by past Ohaneze leaders including Prof Joe Irukwu failed, the present attempt “which totally negate the provisions of the Ohaneze constitution would equally fail”. He noted that it had become the stock-in-trade of every Ohaneze leadership to fraudulently attempt to extend their tenure in every Nigeria ’s election year, apparently to see whoever that is the president at the time through in his second term aspiration. “When Irukwu tried it, he failed and we are sure Uwechue will equally fail. He has stayed for two years as the Ohaneze President General, but unfortunately we can not point at any single thing he has achieved for Ndigbo and the only thing he is interested in telling us is to extend his tenure. If you take a closer look at the people that attended the so called Ime-Obi that extended Uwechue’s tenure and equally endorsed Jonathan, you will see that no serious member of the organisation was there,” he stated. He therefore noted that at the appropriate time, the proper Ime-obi meeting would be held and Igbo leaders would take stand on the political developments in the country. Reacting to the ongoing feud between the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), DR Okwesilieze Nwodo and Governor Sullivan Chime of Enugu state, Onyia said the leadership of the Enugu State Development Association has invited the duo, and therefore expressed hope that very soon, the whole crisis would be resolved. http://www.thisdayonline.info/nview.php?id=187669 |
jason12345:The current Ohaneze leadership lacks the credibility to be taken serious. I even heard that the so called endorsement was signed by Uwaechue and supported by some faceless politicians who are not known in their wards. . . . . . You cant compare the popularity and credibility of Igbo politicians who were behind the endorsement with that of people like Prof Soludo, Prof ABC Nwosu, Senator Ken Nnamani, Senator Jim Nwobodo, Alex Ekwueme, Dr Chris Ngige etc, who are strong supporters of the zoning arrangement. |
jason12345:The majority of Igbos on the street of Igboland know pretty much that Jonathan is an Ijaw man and not an Igbo man;hence, he cant take the chance of Ndigbo come 2015. . . . . . . The so called Igbo leaders you referred to ( Nzeribe, Iwuanyanwu & co ) do not command any atom of respect in Igboland. They are pay as you go politicians that have been sullying the name of Ndigbo. |
jason12345:A cohesive force with which people? |
This is the best article written about the Igbo nation by ngbatiman. . . . . I still maintain that Ohaneze committed a political suicide by endorsing GEJ. |

. to the rest of the country, the endorsement of GJ by ohaneze would be deemed as an IGBO ENDORSEMENT. moreover, i think the rest of the country would want power to be moved somewhere else other than the igbo since they would be viewed as ONE "POLITICALLY"
