Very easy to play politics in Nigeria once you understand that Nigeria sits on two pillars: tribe and religion. The smart ones you can reason with are vastly outnumbered.

You don’t value education culturally yet fail to prioritise your commonwealth for the employment of well paid teachers and other staff to educate all your children free. Would you as a parent do something like that

Free education? Are you a communist? We never have had a severe problem with out of school children . Free education and quota education is and has been used as a tool in regions where there has been a severe lack historically and culturally, to shape those 'backward' societies and cultural practices.

What does that have to do with the general perception of education culturally? Why is anything the way it is in Nigeria today, why is there no electricity 24/7. We don't glorify thugs and riff raffs culturally and we don't promote the worst to lead, if you want respect the fastest way is through the pen and it has been that way since colonial times.
