Her pictures have been used by fraudsters on social to advertise sales of custom seized vehicles. She is not a fraudster. She wrote this public disclaimer below:

My name is Chinyere Abugu Egenti. I work with the Nigeria Customs Service. I have been with the Service for seven years as a senior officer. I was in Abuja Headquarters for two years and now posted to the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos.

Some social media fraudsters have been using my pictures to advertise sale of Customs seized vehicles. I am not, I haven't and I can never be part of such heinous and criminal acts. I am a responsible citizen, gainfully employed and happily married with children.

I therefore wish to inform my relatives, friends, social media fans and followers as well as the general public to ignore any post using my picture or name to advertise the sale of any vehicle by the customs in an attempt to defraud innocent members of the public.

Meanwhile my family,office and relevant authorities are making efforts to track down those involved in this social media fraud with my name so that they can be brought to book accordingly.Thanks to everyone that stood up for me,may God in his infinite mercy bless you all.

The accident which occurred today was reportedly caused by tyre bursts. No life was lost but the passengers sustained various degrees of injuries. According to Uche Nnaji, LASG Emergency AmbulanceService arrived at the scene shortly after the incident and the victims were conveyed to the hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.

Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, this morning visited abattoirs in Makurdi.The Governor who was visibly sad to see the state of the slaughter sites, ordered immediate upgrade of the abattoirs to modern ones. The Nigerian Army has handed over another 275 detainees who were arrested, investigated and cleared by the military in connection to Boko Haram to the Borno State Government. The detainees were handed over to Gov. Kashim Shettima by Theater Commander of theOperation Zaman Lafiya Dole at Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri.

The Governor called on freed detainees to be law abiding, presented cash and clothing materials to them and pledges to vocationally train them.

The reconstruction of Okota Road is still in progress. So far much have been done and it is expected to finish before the start of the rainy season. This road has been terrible for a while but it now looking better..

A 20-passenger capacity boat capsized at Ijede area of Ikorodu, Lagos, this morning, leaving 7 people confirmed and 8 others still missing. The boat was said to be conveying 17 passengers and 2 crew members from Ijede en route Badore when it capsized at about 10.20am.

A horrible accident just occurred few hours ago along Ibadan expressway at China Town, Ojota area in Lagos. The Toyota Highlander veered off the road and landed into a shallow gutter on the other side of the road. The number of casualties is still yet to be known.

Thousands of Civil Servants on Thursday marched to the Government House, Port Harcourt where they celebrated the victory of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike at the Supreme Court. Governor Emmanuel Udom is building another multi-million naira personal estate for leasing in calabar. The estate is located in Calabar Municipality at Parliamentary Extension after Exceltech Fuel station. According to undisclosed sources, the governor also has plan of building similar estate in Port Harcourt. This incident has made some people to refer to his rule as "governance of selfishness".
