Okay, i intend writing the SAT this June and if need be October and i am applying to Morgan State University, Baltimore. I have been thinking either to go for Medical Technology, Computer Science or Information Science and Systems. I'm hoping on hitting their full ride scholarship offer and with this 3 courses in mind, i want one that will be a bit flexible as i equally hope to work. My intention in the long run is staying back in the US and i want a course that will be needful in the labour market. First, Medical Technology is highly demanded but stressful, i would appreciate your comparisons and advice. Thanks

Travel / Re: Can NECO Be Used In Getting Admission In Canada by Mgrichboss(m): 12:15pm On Feb 22, 2018
Bro, fear not NECO can be used anywhere in the world.. Since you're traveling to Canada and you'll need to evaluate it, it's even more easier to evaluate the NECO result than WAEC in terms of cost and time..
I'm 100% sure of it

lasthero:
Hello my nairaland family. Please I need advice.

I am having a pathetic situation with my school for over 2 months now. I applied for official transcript from academic unit and I was told that they could not find my 100level results. I
Was told to go to my department and tell them to resend it. On getting to my department, they also said they can't find my 100level results. They have been searching for over 2 months according to them and yet no positive results. This same school graduated me 5 years ago and issued my original BSc certificate.

I have cried to both academic unit and my faculty to help me and not spoil my life as I can't meet up with spring 2018 again, I don't want fall to pass me by and my official transcript is the only delaying factor to the schools I have applied to.

After I have disturbed my faculty severally, the secretary is suggesting that they should convert me to direct entry student instead of jambite and with that, I won't need my 100level results. But my concern is that I failed a course in 100level which was re-written in 2nd year. Won't that be a red flag to schools I am applying to?,. Seeing just one first year result in a transcript?.

My family is suggesting we sue the school and the department to court. Won't this complicate issues further?. I'm just confused. It pained me that I couldn't meet up with spring. I don't want to miss the next fall.

Adverts / Re: Explosives Manufacturing Business In Nigeria: Make 100% Instant Profit. by Mgrichboss(m): 1:11pm On Oct 28, 2017
bigmo1:
Explosives manufacturing is a big business in Nigeria with a 100 % instant profit highly guaranteed. These explosives are mostly used in Quarries, Minning industry, cement industry, road constructions, and seismic studies and exploration (in the oil industry).

Presently only one company is involved in the manufacturing of commercial and industrial explosives in Nigeria and controls over 80% of the commercial explosives market. The other companies are merely involved with importation of commercial explosives and they have habitual problem of getting these explosives to their customers in time. This delay is mainly due to the time and cost of getting the explosives products into the country and clearance at the port.

The major users of commercial explosives such as stone, gravel and sharp sand Quarries, Julius Berger, major cements companies and construction companies, oil companies, coal, tin and copper mining companies amongst many others consume at least an average of 350 million naira weekly in purchasing explosives which they use in their daily operations. Without this explosives these companies can not function at all. Explosives is central to their operations.

Water gel and Bulk Emulsion explosives are the major types of explosives used in these industries. These are Ammonium nitrate–fuel oil mixtures (ANFO) and Ammonium nitrate-base water gels, which together now account for at least 90 percent of the high explosives consumption in the world.

Water gels have many advantages. Among them are a high concentration of strength, a high degree of water resistance, plasticity that permits them to displace air or water and completely fill the borehole, economy, ease of handling and loading, and good safety characteristics. They are also easy to produce and generate little or no waste during production. Any waste generated is easily and instantly recycled. As a result, this industry is almost pollution free.

For any one interested in this line of business, we are ready to provide a full feasibility studies including Chemical formulations and compositions, with a list of all raw materials needed including where and how to source for them. We will also provide you with a list of potential customers amongst other things.

We are Explosives chemists highly trained by Americans and Chinese experts.

Yes, same procedure. Write SAT/ACT and TOEFL. Send an email to the program coordinator or International office of your preferred school ask about scholarship/funding opportunities for undergraduates.

Ace your exams and Apply to your preferred schools. Get admission, apply for visa /port to America.

Bro most colleges waive TOEFL for students from Nigeria.. I'm very sure! A good SAT score of 1200 upward and a nice GPA of 3.0 and above should get him a full tuition at most if not full ride in most universities
