Iran is at war but US is not at with them. If US decides to be at war with Iran, it will over in 48hrs and there's no doubt about that. US is only after regime change which is why their only targets are the military and the terrorist leaders. They are being careful not to hurt the civilian areas to avoid losing the little support they have from Iranians and the new expected Iranian leadership.

I dont think Iran has attacked any American civilian either.
