Everyone is scared of Iran's arsenal of missiles, drones and rockets, not scared of the strait. In the 1980s, the strait was a shooting range but vessels still passed. However, then Iran has no drone technology, underground missile cities etc.

If Iran had not built a resilient plan, the martyring of their leaders would have made them lose against their brutal aggressors.

Iranians are courageous enough to build a long term plan based on pragmatic planning in the face of sanctions of decades. Those missile cities built 500 meters under mountains and axis of resistance in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq and Palestine are not built by leverage, they are products of courage, hardwork and diligent plan execution.
