I had a bit of concern about my UK PCC that was requested in June but hadnt come.

I took the option of a replacement and sent to my friend in the UK, by the time she was scanning the PCC to me last Wednesday, the physical copy also arrived at my doorstep in Lagos same day.

UK PCC settled, awaiting IELTS response for EOR.

Well done to all the bosses in the house!!!!

Hello All,

Please we need advice. My wife is the PA, we are waiting for her school to respond to WES for a month now no show(she has sent her transcripts and copies of her diploma and degree). She received her IELTS today LRWS 8,7,7,8 which after calculating is 443 but her birthday is middle of DEC, she is considering challenging her writing so if it is bumped to 7.5, we can get 446 so even if there is a 5 mark drop ...we will be OK. Please I will appreciate good advice

Bro did you write IELTS? If NO please do so while waiting for WES, it can boost your score tremendously. I will say instead of remark, just write the exam. The remark might come out just the same but at least if you do averagely well, your score will be boosted

I am new here, wish I came across this site sooner, I have an issue and I need advise on the best action to take,I putting my application for PR on the 5th of December 2017, I got my PR through the CEC on the 18th of February 2018 but before that, I went back to Nigeria and I did a court wedding Dec 26, 2017 thinking after application, status change won't matter and I can sponsor my wife (grave mistake)whenever I get my PR. Got PPR request on the 3rd and out of fear of what might happen, I did not declare my status has changed (dumb move) .
...

Please how did you resolve this. My friend is in a similar situation

Good evening everyone..

Glad to be here, just submitted EOR for ielts for 8.5,7,6.5,7, hopefully I get a positive feedback soonest.

Asking for a friend.
He got PR earlier the year which he applied for in Europe. He decided to show face in Naija before leaving for Canada. He then thought to marry his fiancee legally so he can apply for her visa when he lands before they complete marriage rites next year, so they can go back tougher.
Few days ago he realised, he has to declare he's married and CIC will take away his visa and process his wife's own along with it which will take extra time.
The problem now is, he doesnt have pof for himself anymore talkless of showing for his wife. He has bought a ticket already to leave before realising if he doesn't declare his spouse he might run into trouble of misrepresentation and may never be able to sponsor her.

Please what can he do cos he got married legally 3weeks ago and his ticket is for this month

Hello Fam

Happy to join this thread and i have been reading a lot.

My mum is applying for a US visa to attend my cousin's wedding in September and she runs a small business where she sells drinks in packs. I am the one sponsoring the trip and I earn about 200k per month. I got married late last year but i have not done any change of name, so basically our surname and address remains the same.

My cousin is sending IV and a written invitation letter, she will be staying with his sister so basically accommodation and feeding is sorted. For strong ties my brother is still in boarding school and her husband is in Nigeria too, so is her small business and I am too.

Do you think she stands a good chance and any advise that can help. Thanks

@Chiefkpokp your contact please

Use 1688.com,taobao.com then use any freight service that will bring the goods from china to naija. In 1688.com. You can get things cheaper there but you will stuck in making payment that is why you will need to take advantage of our service. We can pay for you and also help you ship the goods to Lagos, or nationwide because we use KOS delivery to wire your goods to your door step nationwide.

Hello all
My sister is into Dress making and she mostly buys are fashion accesories from Dubai.
Nowe we are looking to try China, for accesories, fabrics, rhinestones etc anyone here can help?
I've checked through alixpress the shipping costs seems ridiculous.
Does she have to go to China
How can she ship at a cheaper rate if she doesn't go to China ?
Anyone here who knows suppliers that can be suggested?
And every other Susan Adinya that can give a lead will be appreciated
Thanks

No, it is not supposed to be a bad thing to ask a question, but it is bad to think that you are the only one who is asking for the list of documents and therefore expecting it to be listed for you only.
Sure, i read the "message" and i was disappointed that you did not understand that if i get a penny each time a person asks for the list of documents, i would be a billionaire by now, and every page in this forum would be with the document lists.
happy being a billionaire i asked cos am on tier4 and am the one inviting, all the energy you ve used to vex over nothing could have been used positively..... there are several peeps on this page you cld ve simply passed since you had no help to offer

Is your present accommodation suitable for all?
i stay in a house share, in the artic my room is big enuf for 3 of us since they are spending just few weeks and theres an extra single bed dropped on the floor..... so we should be ok with that
Travel / Re: Nigerian Students In The Uk How Do You Survive? by mhoreh: 10:42am On Feb 04, 2015
They are definitly going to apply for a visiting visa, i have a friend that invited her younger sister last year and stated in it that she would be staying with her for the period and attached her school ID card and enrolment letter to the invitation letter...... My brother is just 12 and cant travel alone, what i have issues with is how to specify accomodation plans for my mum

Lexusgs430:

What would underpin their applications? You obviously cannot submit enough documentations to support both applications(not unless you can)!!!
They would have to both apply for visiting or tourist visas and the weight of whatever documentations they might have, would determine which way the applications swing!!!!

GTB rates are quite high. I think it's more cost-efficient to just open a UK account and have your folks transfer all the money into it. I should know. I used a GTB card, switched to Stanbic and eventually had to transfer money from my Nigerian banks to a UK bank. Just imagine how hard it must have been for me to transfer from Nigeria to UK while staying in their UK.
