Hello everyone

Am considering sending some stuffs(tops and sleeves) to Nigeria for sale via the post office but first I need answers to the following questions.

1 How reliable is it receiving goods sent from other countries at the Nigerian postoffice?
2.How much do they charge to receive such packages?
3.Are there extra charges to be paid e.g customs?

your responses would be much appreciated..

HealthForeign Trained Doctors Not Allowed To Practise In Nigeria From October! by mhsanni(op): 11:19am On Jul 17, 2012
http://www.vanguardngr.com/2012/07/no-foreign-trained-doctor-will-practise-in-nigeria-from-october/

The Medical and Dental Council
of Nigeria (MDCN) recently
declared that no foreign trained
doctor will be allowed to practise
in Nigeria from October, 2012
except showing evidence that he
or she could have practised in
the country of study.
The Acting Registrar of MDCN,
Dr. Udugbai Ilevbare disclosed
this in Abuja yesterday during
the induction ceremony of 103
foreign trained medical and
dental graduates.
According to him, they must
show evidence from the health
regulatory bodies in their
countries of training that they are
registerable and could have
worked there.
He also said that such graduates
from October 2012 must sit for
and pass the MDCN Assessment
Examination to be eligible to
practise in Nigeria.
He said: “May I at this point
inform you all that beginning
from October 2012 Assessment
Examination, foreign medical
graduates must show evidence
from the heath regulatory
bodies of the countries where
they were trained that they are
registrable and could have
practised in those countries if
they had wanted to do so.
”What it means is that if those
who trained you as doctors
permit or allow you to treat
them as patients, we can also
allow you to treat us without
fear.”

izeek: Sickle cell is just like any other disease out there, and so shudn't be made the alpha decision when settling down!

When u r inlove, its mostly ur feelings that count!
Am not saying it shud not be discussed, neither am I saying it shud be ignored, however am saying it takes more that genotype to breakup a strong union!

Am married to an as, and also as, and believe it or not we have two beautiful kids, a boy and a girl and they r both aa.

I av test results to show for them, before someone here says it me speaking by faith!

Its u and ur spouse really! Not ur folks, sibblings or even friends!
you are a very lucky sumbody is all i'd say abt ur own case... not everybody wud be so lucky. if uv eva seen a sickle cell individual during deir crisis ud realise such risk in d name of luv isnt worth it.

HealthTHE ICE CONCEPT!!! by mhsanni(op):
We all carry our mobile phones
with names & numbers stored
in its memory but nobody,
other than ourselves, knows
which of these numbers belong
to our closest family or friends.
If we were to be involved in an
accident or were taken ill, the
people attending to us would
have our mobile phone but
wouldn't know who to call.
Yes, there are hundreds of
numbers stored but which one
is the contact person in case
of an emergency? Hence this
"ICE" (In Case of Emergency)
Campaign. The concept of
"ICE" is catching on quickly. It
is a method of contact during
emergency situations. As cell
phones are carried by the
majority of the population, all
you need to do is store the
number of a contact person
or persons who should be
contacted during emergency
under the name "ICE" (In Case
Of Emergency).
The idea was thought up by a
paramedic who found that
when he went to the scenes of
accidents,
there were always mobile
phones with patients, but they
didn't know which number to
call. He therefore thought that
it would be a good idea if there
was a nationally recognized
name for this purpose. In an
emergency situation,
Emergency Service personnel,
friends, colleagues and
hospital Staff
would be able to quickly
contact the right person by
simply dialing the number you
have stored as "ICE."
For more than one contact
name simply enter ICE1, ICE2
and ICE3 etc. A great idea that
will make a difference! Let's
spread the concept of ICE by
storing an ICE number in our
Mobile phones today!
Please forward this. It won't
take too many "forwards"
before everybody will know
about this, It really could save
your life, or put a loved one's
mind at rest.
Remember:-
ICE
will speak for you

EducationRe: Why Do People Lie About Their Academic Pedigree by mhsanni(f): 7:15am On Jul 06, 2012
Patsey: I met this Nigerian who studied at the University of Manila (Philippines). He told me he graduated from the University of Manitoba (Canada).

Uhmn! Manila - Manitoba. Sounds and spells somewhat similar. But, for God's sake, Philippines is nowhere near Canada. So, how did I know he's a product of the University of Manila and not Manitoba?

Due to inconsistencies in his claims and the persistence use of: 'I don't do anything dodgy', 'I have nothing to hide' (sentences which, in criminology, are considered to be frequently used by criminals to conceal their acts), I Googled him! And, alas, his dissertation which contains his full name and year of birth was found to be in an online repository!

Without divulging my discovery to him, I chatted him up and we talked about dissertation experiences. In the course of the conversation, he talked extensively about this dissertation. It was precisely the one I found online.

So, why would someone graduate from the University of Tanzania (if there is any such uni in East Africa) and claim to have graduated from the University of Tasmania (Australia)? No wonder, upon returning home to Nigeria, according to him, he never secured any meaningful jobs.

Who, in Nigeria, would abandon UNILAG, OAU, UNN graduates to employ University of Manila graduate? The day I get fed up of his 'I don't do anything dodgy', 'I have nothing to hide', I might as well ask him to explain how his degree from the University of Manila (in the Philippines) metamorphosed into a degree from the University of Manitoba! lol.
sometyms pple hear wat dey wanna hear.....manytimes hv had to corrct pple am in Ahfad univ (wrongly pronounced Hafad) and not Havard.... despite d fact dat its in sudan.... sometyms wen names sound alike pple rada stick to d one dey r familiar wiv n u myt nt hv d chance correctn everyone.

LagosShia: i can see our dear wahhabi moderator have deleted my post.he did not even hide it.he totally deleted it because i simply said that the author of the article should not have cited saudi arabia as the world capital of Muslims but the world capital of wahhabism, and is not a good model for peace.remember, most of the hijackers on 9/11 are believed to be saudis.
y dont u concentrate on wat unites us as one ummah..rada dan emphasizn on our differences...the main goal of every muslim irrespectv of being a sunni, shiayt, sufis etc.. is to worship Allah to d best of deir capabilities n not to start lukn for faults in odas...
