Am really torned up slimtee, sorry bout the interview episode, wish u the best in ur future job search.

Shout out to errybody out there esp those that did documentation yesterday, going by what caleb said its like we will be waiting for a pretty long time b4 we get interviewed...

@doyexy, I would advice u pray and fast about it, most definitely gtbbank pays more and inec has a jobb security owingg to the fact that its FG job.. I currently work with the FG but I fancy a career in the finance industry, by the time Gt clicks I would seek Gods direction as to what to do.. despite bank job not been secured, sanusi lamido sanusi grow thru the banking ranks, minister for national planing was/ used to be a banker too, i.e shamsudeen usman, they are succcessful today. so it all depends on what and where God want u to be. so pray about it. if u feel like talking, send me a private mmessage and I will send my number or if u feel comfortable with posting ur number online here,u can put it and I will give u a call.

I was jst passing by and wanted to shout out to erry body, and say a big CONGRATULATIONS to those that have receieved their TS letter, and also salute my dec 13/14 peeps. the new yr will usher us favour and grace, by jan we should get our call up for documentation/essay.. Signing out..

@Claremaire, this is one question u should always expect when going for bank interviews and ur reply can either make or mar ur interview result, when I was asked this question in uba interview, ''Why Banking when u studied whatever I studied'' what I simply said was that, ''I developed intrest in the financial industry or institution when I was in my final yr in the university havving taking courses in finance and business studies which was mandatory for all final yr student, I enjoyed the course and then I decided to build a career in this field which I am really glad I did''. u can try reading about banking issues such as the economic global meltdown and how it affected banks and banking issues in Nigeria incase they ask you to explain a little forward on what u learnt in school about the fianance industry, I also have another very good reply again that I have cooked up again for my Gtbank interview cos I heard there's is usually more technical but sorry I cant write it here in pubblic, u can send me a private message and I would givve u the hint

@ toscairo, yeap, I got the mail as well, its a huge relief, that we werent faced out and a also a thing of grace to be the last set in the recruitment programme, for now anyway am still skeptical if we will be rewriting the test tho, it all depends on the venue on the invite we now get, if its the training school @ illupeji then its a rewrite but if its at the head office @ VI then its the essay and documentation stage... #finger crossed

Please I plead for a candid reply, I did my test on 22nd of Nov and still haven't heard my result till date. what can be the problem, it has taking morethan the usual stipulated 5 days..

@Toscairo2000, some pple got a sucess mail and likewise those that failed also got a regret mail too on tuesday (3 days after) although they did theirs 1pm. Am confused also.

Aloha everybody, I did mah test with gtbank last week thursday and was told that we should expect our in 5 working days and today is the 6th day nothing yet!!! does it happen this way?

Shout out to everybody out there.. this by far is the most exciting thread on NL, I did my test with GT Bank on the 22nd (Thurday), of this month, hoping to hear the result this week thurday.... PHEW!!!! Nervous to death here.... ONE LOVE PPLE and also I wanted to ask whats the dress code for the ESSAY/ Documentation is.

Hello everyone, According to what I heard, the nxt training school commences jan nxt yr, so regardless of ur stage of recruitment. nobody is starting this yr again, I did my test june 14( mid month of the yr) and interview in sept 14 (3months interval), and nxt 3 months would be Dec/ jan 14.. I stand to be corrected tho, so guys and gals chill out, its all gonna be fine,

@ kunleee, I have been contacted that I was successful in my interview, I hope u also have? for those who would ask when did I do my interview, is it my 1st or 2nd, when did I do my test, this are the answers it was on the 19th of this month, this is my first interview, and I did my test on the 22nd of june.

@ kunlee.. uh.. so u were the first to take the acid test.hehehe.. I was the one that wished u goodluck as u were abt going for ur interview.. mehn I also rate myself 50:50 also cos the drilling wasnt a joke at all. lets hope for the best by nxt week will know our faith

@k, my call went thru, I was told to come on the 19th which is a wednesday. so its all settled now. wednesday.

@ kunleee, because of u, I had to register on Nairaland to correct u on a mistake u are about to make but u can thank me later, there is a mix up in the text and mail uba sent, they state that the interview is on ''Tuesday, 19th of September''. 19th happens to be a ''Wednesday'' on the calender. u can check urself, but going by follow up I have been doing, UBA interviews are on Tuesdays cos pple that have done did their's on the 4th, 11th and then ours now should be 18th, One week interval inbtw and not 19th, but I will still put a call to them on monday thou.. so pls dnt focus on 19th, its a wednesday. I almost also lost a job because of this discripancy once. One love
