Very simple; apply alongside your NYSC, pass the tests & other ish, go to camp, wait for the outcome while in camp, if successful, bone NYSC, fly to Japan. C'est tres simple

the instruction is that anyone unable to resume April 2016 or as stated by d university, is ineligible

NYSC is always there for you. When you come back, if eventually, you're chosen, you can still go for service, or get exemption letter.

Are you stabbing NYSC? I'd been I'm contact with University of Tokyo, they have English PG courses, but I need two other university choices. The other Two I saw don't do English. Me I am reluctant to learn Japanese kanji.

(7) MEXT will conduct a secondary screening based on the results of the primary screening conducted by the Japanese diplomatic mission, and select applicants as MEXT scholarship grantees whose placement of universities was made.
Note1: Applicants who have passed the primary screening at a Japanese diplomatic mission are not necessarily accepted as MEXT scholarship grantees.
Note 2: Applicants who were not accepted by any universities which the applicants named in their Placement Preference Form, will not be selected as MEXT scholarship grantees.

The requirements are on the site. Basically I think you'll write an exam and you MAY have to promise to learn Japanese when you get there.

I intend going to their embassy tomorrow; to collect the form, as I do not have enough MB to download it from the site. So, I'll appreciate if you can provide answers to the followings:
* what field of study/course can apply?
* the scholarship, is it full fee or fee waiver?
* minimun requirement, 2:1 or first class?
* & other details
