chidozy15:Since your airtel worked perfectly work, we can conclude that your laptop's wifi nor your hotspot has issues. The issue is from your subscription. Either it has expired or MTN is having network issues. Most have these unlimited plans have a fair usage cap which means you are given an amount of data say 10GB for streaming and downloading. Once this data is exhausted, your internet becomes extremely slow or no connection in some cases. This is done to prevent people from taking up all the bandwidth. |
Personally I think we can always find 10 reasons why Language A is better than Language B. But that doesnt also mean we can't also find 10 reasons why Language B is better than Language A. They all have their quirks. It really depends on what yo want to achieve. I think it would be fair to say I can give 100 reasons why HTML is better than dotNET when you want to build a website. The main thing to do is to know what you want to build and what language is best suited for it. Some programming languages include: (1) Java (2) Python (3) PHP and MySQL trainings etc... It depends on what you want to achieve. |
investigator007:What Credentials are required? |
chidozy15:well, the first obvious question I will ask is if you still have data remaining and have you tried connecting another system to the hotspot to check if it connects to the internet? |
Onyiip:Are you talking about the one that will take less time to complete or general benefit of doing one over the other? |
Interesting.. So whats the difference between a job and a career?? |
Seun:sometimes it depends on the institutions. Top IT firms will pay higher than midclass firms. GTBank and I think Zenith are one of the highest paying... see http://www.nigerianbulletin.com/threads/what-nigerian-banks-pay-their-workers.115180/. Another contributing factor will be your certifications and level of competency |
davidojechi:What are your credentials? |
EngrBouss:Is it just the software package? Or theres training to go with it? |
nkiruberyl:Drink liquid hydrogen mixed with liquid oxygen... |
Depends on the location.. |
Its quite sad oo. Oil and Gas no dey pay again be that oo... I pray those affected can secure better jobs afterall new industries are rising up with better pay these days |
Too far... What should I be doing till then? |
you can't kill a python oo...abeg run for your life...no one will help you....oh, you meant the programming language? notepad++ can be used as an editor... How do you plan on learning it? |
omo wahala dey oo. but if you have the right credentials and potentials, I suggest you quit and apply elsewhere. |
Interesting. But what can I achieve by being a Cisco certified partner |
Well the first answer that pop up is to have a side job or part time job |
WhatsApp’s founder Jan Koum announced Monday that the company is dropping the service’s annual subscription fee in an effort to remove the barriers some users faced in using the service. According to a post on Whatsapp’s blog, it says, “We’re happy to announce that WhatsApp will no longer charge subscription fees. For many years, we’ve asked some people to pay a fee for using WhatsApp after their first year. As we’ve grown, we’ve found that this approach hasn’t worked well. Many WhatsApp users don’t have a debit or credit card number and they worried they’d lose access to their friends and family after their first year. So over the next several weeks, we’ll remove fees from the different versions of our app and WhatsApp will no longer charge you for our service.” As far as a new business model, WhatsApp says it will explore ways businesses can use the service to connect with individuals, but said the goal is to avoid spam and unwanted advertising. Here’s what WhatsApp is saying about that, according to a company blog post: NATURALLY, PEOPLE MIGHT WONDER HOW WE PLAN TO KEEP WHATSAPP RUNNING WITHOUT SUBSCRIPTION FEES AND IF TODAY’S ANNOUNCEMENT MEANS WE’RE INTRODUCING THIRD-PARTY ADS. THE ANSWER IS NO. STARTING THIS YEAR, WE WILL TEST TOOLS THAT ALLOW YOU TO USE WHATSAPP TO COMMUNICATE WITH BUSINESSES AND ORGANIZATIONS THAT YOU WANT TO HEAR FROM. THAT COULD MEAN COMMUNICATING WITH YOUR BANK ABOUT WHETHER A RECENT TRANSACTION WAS FRAUDULENT, OR WITH AN AIRLINE ABOUT A DELAYED FLIGHT. WE ALL GET THESE MESSAGES ELSEWHERE TODAY – THROUGH TEXT MESSAGES AND PHONE CALLS – SO WE WANT TO TEST NEW TOOLS TO MAKE THIS EASIER TO DO ON WHATSAPP, WHILE STILL GIVING YOU AN EXPERIENCE WITHOUT THIRD-PARTY ADS AND SPAM. ![]() If you’ve already paid the 99 cents for the year then there won’t be a refund, but subscription fees will cease immediately. WhatsApp now has nearly 1 billion users, so the free timing removes the barrier for millions more to join the messaging service. The Facebook-owned service plans appears to be planning to generate revenue through services to businesses. “We will test tools that allow you to use WhatsApp to communicate with businesses and organizations that you want to hear from.” That means you might be able to send messages to your bank or airlines in the future. |

browsing Netflix’s offerings can be frustrating because the categories are too broad. If you want to narrow your search, Netflix has hundreds of categories that let you search not just for Dramas, but Crime Dramas, Dramas based on real life or Dramas to make you shed Tears. One of the complaints we often hear from users is they actually spend more time looking for content rather than watching it. Thanks to an industrious individual over at “What’s On Netflix”, you can check out these sub-genres and their corresponding codes. To browse any one of these secret genres categories, use the following url: http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/INSERTNUMBER Simply replace INSERTNUMBER with the specific genre code. These codes are particularly useful if you are a fan of foreign cinema and want to browse by country. Of course, they are also useful if you are in the mood for Scary killer movies or rib-cracking comedies or something that combines both. Click here for a list of genre codes http://blog.eti.ng/how-to-search-genre-specific-content-on-netflix/. |

We can all attest to the fact that using the internet to make payments to utility, phone, credit card, insurance and any service or product at all saves considerable time and effort. It is also a simple and convenient way to contribute to charity either directly or sponsoring participants in money-raising activities. There are, however, risks associated with making payments some of which are: Fraud resulting from making payments over unsecured web pages. Emails directing you to fake websites set up to collect your payment card details. This article will provide you with the knowledge to make payments securely online. Before entering payment details on a website, ensure that the link is secure, in these ways: There should be a padlock symbol in the browser window frame, which appears when you attempt to log in or register. Be sure that the padlock is not on the page itself …as fraudulent sites do that. The web address should begin with ‘https://’ instead of the conventional ‘http://’. The ‘s’ represents ‘secure’. If you are using the latest version of your browser, the address bar or the name of the site owner should turn green. When making a payments, use secure payment sites such as PayPal, GTBANK GTPay, INTERSWITCH InternetPay, ETRANZACT – never transfer the money directly into their bank account.Additional steps to take include: You should check the website’s Privacy Policy. Always log out of sites into which you have logged in or registered details especially if you are using a shared computer. Simply closing your browser is not enough to ensure privacy. Keep receipts – electronic or otherwise stored somewhere for easy tracking or reference. Check credit card and bank statements carefully after payment to ensure that the correct amount has been debited, and also that no fraud has taken place as a result of the transaction. Ensure you have effective and updated antivirus and firewall running before you go online. If you think you have been a victim of online fraudulent activities, don’t hesitate to contact your Bank or other relevant agencies.

The so much speculated Nokia C1, which has been in leaks for some months now, has now surfaced in a new render image on the Web. While all the leaks and rumors until now pointed out the handset to run Android with the company’s Z Launcher, the new leak shows that the smartphone is to run Windows 10 OS. There is possibility of the smartphone coming in two variants for the two operating systems. Although this seems to be more logical, there are also speculations the device might be able to dual boot Android and Windows. The tipster who leaked the image said (via Nokiapoweruser) that the handset will arrive in both OS versions. The latest render shows its camera placed on the top-left corner, unlike the leaked image from September which showed the smartphone’s rear camera at the centre. While we can’t guarantee the authenticity of these Nokia C1 images, it is a known fact that there have been rumors of Nokia releasing a new device any time soon. Nokia hasn’t been able to make smartphones of its own for a while now but by the end of this year, the contractual agreement with Microsoft is expiring and the company may really get back into making new smartphones. The last Android phones, Nokia X and Nokia XL, didn’t perform so well and this may be because they were just below par. There were so many devices in their price range offering better features and perform way better. Going by past leaks and rumours, the Nokia C1 is expected to include a 5-inch FHD display, 2GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter and an 8-megapixel rear camera and run on Android OS 6.0 Marshmallow as well. Previous reports have suggested that the Nokia C1 will be powered by an Intel chipset. If the news of the Nokia C1 is true, the company will definitely ensure it’s good enough to compete in the already saturated market. After all Nokia faithfuls have been anticipating the company’s return and would like to see them back in business. read more on http://blog.eti.ng |
New to programming? Python is free and easy to learn if you know where to start! This guide will help you to get started quickly. New to Python? This article will give you a quick walk-through. However, be rest assured it is actually quite easier than you think. The first stage is to install the Python interpreter on your computer. This is the program that reads Python programs and carries out their instructions; you need it before you can do any Python programming. Mac OSX distributions from 10.3 (Panther) and up, include a version of Python, which, although it can be as much as two years out of date, may be suitable for beginning. Linux distributions also frequently include Python and it is readily upgraded. There are currently two major versions of Python available: Python 2 and Python 3. The Python2 or Python3 page provides advice on how to decide which one will best suit your needs. At the time of writing (21 Jun 2010), the rest of this page assumes you’ve decided to use Python 2. At some stage, you’ll want to edit and save your program code. Take a look at HowToEditPythonCode for some advice and recommendations. The next stage is to read a tutorial and try some simple experiments with your new Python interpreter. If you’ve never programmed before, see BeginnersGuide/NonProgrammers for a list of suitable tutorials. If you have previous programming experience, consult BeginnersGuide/Programmers, which lists more advanced tutorials. If English isn’t your first language, you might be more comfortable with a tutorial that’s been translated into your language. Consult python.org’s list of Non-English resources. Most tutorials assume you know how to run a program on your computer. If you are using Windows and need help with this, see how do I Run a Program under Windows. Once you’ve read a tutorial, you can browse through Python’s online documentation. It includes a tutorial that may be helpful, a Library Reference that lists all of the modules that come standard with Python, and the Language Reference for a complete (if rather dry) explanation of Python’s syntax. When you are ready to write your first program you will need a text editor. To get started you can use any editor you are familiar with – even something like Notepad – but as you gain experience you may want to use a text editor with features that help you write Python programs. See PythonEditors for a list of programs friendly to Python code editing. Take python courses from http://eti.ng |
When Steve Jobs refused to allow Flash on iOS devices, his argument was that HTML5 could do everything Flash could. This wasn’t entirely true, however the reality distortion field was massive and ultimately Apple won and Adobe didn’t; HTML5, not Flash, is the technology that’s revolutionizing the web. So what exactly is HTML5 and why bother?
