Programming / Why You Should Take Up Android App Development Training Now by Mich43l(m): 2:02pm On May 09, 2016 |
The ability to develop apps for Android is an extremely hot skill to know right now. Android App Development has overtaken Apple’s iOS as the most lucrative mobile platform to develop apps for. Given the beautiful new Materials Design framework in the Android OS, now is an excellent time to learn Android development. In terms of market share, Android is absolutely dominating iOS with a whopping 82.8% of the global market as of 2015 with 282.76 million devices shipped. This growth keeps on accelerating as more people globally plug into the Internet for the first time. A mind blowing 1.3 million new Android devices are activated each day and the number of Android devices in the world now numbers in the billions. With such astounding growth, there is naturally a shortage of capable Android developers. In the past 5 years, the majority of developers have favored Apple’s iOS. This was because there was less fragmentation in the ecosystem and Apple users have traditionally spent much larger sums of money on apps. Fortunately for Android App Developers, Google has put enormous resources in the last two years into improving the Android user experience and improving the quality of the Google Play App and content marketplace. The growth and mobile operating system dominance of Android will continue for the foreseeable future. Java which is used in Android app development is currently the #2 most sought-after digital skill, which means there are plenty of opportunity for freelance Android App Developers. The money is also very good, with an experience Android App Developers making an average salary of $100,000 a year in the US. The fastest way to learn Android development is online. Preferably you already have some experience with computer programming languages like Java, C or C++. Career / Project Management: Steps To Organizing And Managing Projects by Mich43l(m): 11:27am On Mar 31, 2016 |
Most of us have had to take up project management in some capacity, even if we are not project managers. A Project Management plan is mandatory for anyone with project-based work to do. Adhering to this plan will help reduce effort whilst producing excellent work. Project Management is very similar to taking a journey. You have some idea of where you want to go, but you’re unsure what steps will get you there. As with any trip, project management becomes very easy when you invest a little planning time up front. For a Limited time only, with Just #1,500, You too can take the PMP & Agile Methodologies Training and become a Certified Project Manager today. To get started, CLICK HERE[ - http://www.dealdey.com/deals/pmp-agile-methodologies-training Here are some simple tips from the professionals to keep your project and team organized and on track. Create An Event Timeline The first step to creating your project management plan is having a timeline of events you want to accomplish. Try examining the project and asking a few simple questions: What are my goals? What end result am I trying to accomplish? What is my deadline? Who will I need to include in this project? What supplies / resources will I need to get this done? This is the important foundation for your project management plan. You will now find it a lot easier to break these “big picture” ideas into smaller steps to follow. Get Organized The key to any successful journey is organizing your paperwork – a project is no different. You need a system for storing all of your project files in one location so you never have to waste time searching. Project files are temporary. These files will only be used until the project is completed. Assign a separate drawer or hanging file box for your project paperwork. Of course, the best project organizing system is portable so that you can take them with you wherever. Implement A journey of a thousand miles begin with a single step. You have to start at some point. Creating your Project Management Plan should always be the first on your list. Your next move will be to draw up tasks or perhaps have a meeting to brainstorm with your team. Any move forward is a good one, don’t be worried about which task to tackle first. You may feel stuck at the beginning of your project, but just getting started often provides the momentum you need to keep you moving in the right direction. Reorganize Every project, no matter how large, is just a series of smaller tasks – and your job is simply to figure out what those tasks are. Each one of these steps constitutes a “milestone” which gets you a little closer to your end goal. While you never want to lose sight of your final destination, your project will be a lot less overwhelming if you simply focus on your next milestone (bit sized is always easier to swallow!) Once you accomplish that task, move to the next – in no time, you will find that you have systematically worked your way to the end of the project. Monitor Progress and Complete Ask yourself when each previous step must be completed for the next step to happen on time, as well as how long each step will realistically take to complete. These can each be plugged into your calendar. This will help you to create a schedule you can live with, allow you to see progress along the way, and prevent a lot of last-minute rushing. With a plan and the steps above, you should have a successful Project Management experience. For a Limited time only, with Just #1,500, You too can take the PMP & Agile Methodologies Training and become a Certified Project Manager today. Career / Re: Can Your Salary Ever Make You Wealthy? by Mich43l(m): 1:55pm On Feb 15, 2016 |
Lets not confuse wealth with riches. And am I just the only one who noticed this, but wealthy people did not actually set out to make money but to solve a problem they noticed in the society. You talk of the Hewlett and Packards, Our own Dangote, Bill Gates and more. Yes your salary cannot make you wealthy but it can make you rich. The difference between a wealthy man, a rich man and a poor man is actually mentaality. Once you have developed yourself as a person with many skill sets, wealth will follow you. From the movies three idiots, chase excellence and success will chase you pants down. Lets learn to develop our skills. MOOCs are available with practically any subject from plumbing to rocket science. http://eti.ng 10 Likes 4 Shares |
Career / Re: A Thread For Personal Development, Self Growth And Motivation! by Mich43l(m): 10:17am On Jan 28, 2016 |
Personal development is key in everyone's life. without which we cant achieve our aims and targets. Continual learning is a way to develop one's self. No man is an island. And no man knows it all. Even an 'expert' says his opinion and not the absolute fact. Learning shouldn't be restricted to only the classroom walls. But we learn from any angle. Through experiences, what we see, hear, touch and other factors. The problem with most people now is once we are done with our basic degree, we think we are ready to conquer the world. Ive spent a little over two years in the working industry as compared to the million; excuse my exaggeration that I spent in the classroom. But believe me, Ive learnt more at work than in the classroom. Why don't we just try develop ourselves? Make use of technology around us. Businesses are growing lately and is due to digital marketing rather than the conventional walk about marketing. we spend more money on entertaining ourselves than educating ourselves. Im a culprit of that too. Lets take up a course and determine to see it through at least for once. For those interested in the marketing, theres this ;Dawoof ;Don dealdey. I know say una like awoof: http://www.dealdey.com/deals/3-in-1-digital-marketing-certification It is said that at the end of our lives, we regret the things we didnt do rather than the things we did. Training is something you should do. 2 Likes 4 Shares |

Computers / Worst Passwords Of 2015 by Mich43l(m): 4:13pm On Jan 22, 2016 |
This report is based on more than 2 million passwords that leaked online during the year. One trend found in 2015 is that while users are coming up with longer passwords (that’s good), they are simple and not random (that’s bad). Two examples are ‘1234567890’ and ‘qwertyuiop’. One just uses every number key and the other uses the top row of keys on a standard QWERTY keyboard. Here’s Splashdata's complete list of the 25 worst passwords for 2015, with their ranking from 2014 in brackets: 123456 (Unchanged) password (Unchanged) 12345678 (Up 1) qwerty (Up 1) 12345 (Down 2) 123456789 (Unchanged) football (Up 3) 1234 (Down 1) 1234567 (Up 2) baseball (Down 2) welcome (New) 1234567890 (New) abc123 (Up 1) 111111 (Up 1) 1qaz2wsx (New) dragon (Down 7) master (Up 2) monkey (Down 6) letmein (Down 6) login (New) princess (New) qwertyuiop (New) solo (New) passw0rd (New) starwars (New) Is your Password in there?
