The only thing the cowards have not been ale to do is to ask of a country of their own.

If this is given... the new coming countries...have their embassies, ports, International airports, banks, international multilateral institutions, oil firms relocate else where...LAGOS will become a ghost town in few years...
You have been crying over the news since.

Your statement has shown the kind of mentality you carry and your nature and how shallow your mind is. If truly you are sound as you think then your people wouldn't have come down to the west looking for menial jobs. Why can't your people stay where they are and look around for menial jobs. Your government in the northern states are busy using public funds to enrich themselves and instead of you all to speaker against such, you all go around screaming Raikadede and your people are in deep suffering. Most of the so called educated amongst you can't even defend what they have. Your governments have failed to serve you what is your civic rights and there you as a teibalistic bigot, never having anything to do rightly other than resolve to violence. Get your acts together and get educated and civilized and rid yourself of the general tag you have earned of an animal in a human body. Remember we all know in this country that majority of you people aren't in the possession of a reasoning sense. If you don't want people labelling you as an animal then change your ways for once in your entire history.
Are how minding almajiri smelly begger.

So why dont you Yorubas then fight to turn Yoruba land into an independent nation such Korea, Japan snd Indonesia?

So what is means is that tomorow, Gwari people will tell everyone in Abuja to start singing the national Anthem in Gwari language because Abuja belongs to the Gwari people?

Laughable
Just like calabar people have been telling us cross river is their land and nobody complain.

It should be replicated across the country.
State govts should employ only those with credits in their state's indigenous languages.

I also expect the local content initiative especially in the oil sector to be driven by state policy, I. E ,only someone who can speak any language from delta state should work in the state in any sector.

That is the end product I foresee, which may be even be a blessing in disguise.

Though, i expect these yoruba tribalists to later accuse others of tribalism when the consequences begin.

Awolowo introduced tribalism into Nigeria., while his people today accuse others of tribalism because others like the igbos, can now beat them to the game.
Mumu, what consequences. How many Yorubas did you see complaining since when igbo language has been made compulsory in igboland. Same way you refused a northerner to become councillor in ebonyi but want to be rep in Lagos. Are you sure you are OK?

As an Igbo man, one thing I will never understand about Yoruba's is why they claim to be so great and sophisticated yet have no sense of self determination.

A Yoruba man wants to promote, his culture, his language, his sense of identity. All well and good, why drag others unwilling participants into it? If Yorubas as are great, are they not agitating for Oduduwa Republic? Why do they need "One Nigeria"? What is your claim to greatness when you cannot stand on your own? But if an Ojukwu rises in the East to fight for the freedom of his people, a Yoruba man will say "Ojukwu was a fool for fighting, he should have joined Awolowol to lick the a$$ of the North to avoid war"
Or when an Nnamdi Kanu rises up to agitate for freedom. Every Yoruba man will suddenly become an "Nnamdi Kanu critic" and tell everyone that they know the best way to go about actualising self determination. The same Yoruba man cannot tell anyone how he will ever achieve restructuring in Nigeria, since the dissppearance of Kanu, restructuring has died away

Who is dragging you. Is Lagos in igboland? This is the law of the land. If you can't fake it, go back to your village. Go and tell Korea, Japan, Indonesia, India, Germany, Spain, France, Dutch that they are not educated. If you do not have respect for your own language and culture, it is non of our business. This is our own, it has been, so shall it be. You can jump into lagoon for all we care.

GerogeI:
There are 4 official Languages in Nigeria recognized by the constitution. Hence you cannot force anyone to speak any particular one of them, no matter how hard you try.

If not we would all be speaking Hausa by now.
Ambodes Law is not implementable: as Ajibota schools only need to challenge it in court on two grounds.

1. He cannot be re-appointing official languages, the constitution already did, and supercedes any state law.

2. You can only implement the law on mother tongue grounds for people to whom its their mother tongue.

One court case in Abuja, one maintain statusquo ruling, end of agenda.
[/s]Do they go to igboland to enforce it? This is Yorubaland, our language, our culture. Go back to your village if you don't like it. Very simple to do.

is Finland and Germany a multiethnic and multicultural countries like Nigeria? i begin to ask is this law really necessary or what we need now? though its a welcome development, other states especially those from the north will see it as a threat to their dominance and impose thier Arabic thing on us....let's not create another problem with this language preservation law thing. ..boko haram, herdsmen, fuel scarcity, etc are enough problems confronting this nation which is still to be solve, now comes the Yoruba language....ok o
Is Yoruba language a problem, or does the language carries gun?

PoliticsRe: Pol 909: What Did South West Benefit From Pmb/gej? by Michael004: 4:48pm On Jan 07, 2018
jaymichael:
I will start on a brutal and savage note. What the SW (despite giving GEJ 70% of our votes in 2011) benefited from the GEJ government are taunts and Insults which mostly come from those Awon oloripele people (flat head cannibals) they rained insults on the SW people when they demanded more representation in GEJ's government. Those flat head cannibals single handedly destroyed the first southern alliance we had that proved that we can win election against the North if there is strong southern unity. They behaved as if they single-handedly voted GEJ into power. In terms of infrastructural development, SW recorded nothing to benefit from GEJ's administration. GEJ did not help matters by his woeful failures and abysmal performance. It was an easy decision for the SW to withdraw their alliance with him.
One thing people don't know about the SW voting pattern in 2019 is that it will be a "bloc" vote against any candidate those 5% flat head cannibals decide or choose to support and vote for.
Personally, for NOW I am still for PMB. Let's see how events turn out later.
Even though i don't support buhari or any body. What you said is true about the flatty insulting yorubas. Now, they are crying of marginalization. Here is the thread where they were insulting yorubas. Internet never forget.
