Politics › Nnamdi Obi Who Was Allegedly Killed By Nigerian Army Speaks, Says He Is Alive Bu by Michael004(op): 5:36pm On Sep 18, 2017
NAIJ.com gathered that a young Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) supporter whom reports claim was killed by the Nigerian army, is alive.

The young man has come to declare his presence while explaining how the Nigerian army allegedly rained bullets on them

Even though reports appeared online that a Biafran supporter identified as Nnamdi Obi, was reportedly killed during an alleged army invasion at the Afara home of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, proof of him being alive has surfaced.

One of Obi's friends who is also a fellow agitator, identified as Iyierioba Uzoezie, however shared pictures of them; maintaining that he is alive even though they are 'not okay'.

Uzoezie mentioned Obi and two others who he said were with them at Kanu's house in Umuahia Isiama, Afara, Ibeku in Abia state.
Nnamdi Obi has however come out to say he is alive. He had made his presence known by communicating with people on the social media.
According to him, the Nigerian army rained bullets on them when they were attacked. He said his enemies are the ones spreading talks of him being killed in the attack when Nnamdi Kanu's house was raided. This assertion was made known through the Facebook page of IfeanyiCy Njoku. Obi urged everyone to protect themselves whichever way they could. He confirmed that the struggle for secession is toughing up and they must not relent.

According to him, he had never experienced the level of attack that he saw when the Nigerian army fired bullets at them. He said he is still in shock but not dead.

He claimed God revealed the protective leaves which prevent them from being harmed by bullets because of Nnamdi Kanu. He insisted that the federal government give him Biafra or he would die fighting for the cause.
On of the Facebook users, IfeanyiCY Njoku, who reported Obi's supposed death had written:
"Rest in Peace Nnamdi. His name is Nnamdi Obi. He was among the people the Nigerian army killed yesterday, Thursday September 14, 2017, at the family compound of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in Afara Umuahia, Abia. Until his death, he was a committed member of IPOB.

Rest in peace Obi, one thing must surely kill a man. Even the Buhari army that murdered you, because of your belief and demand for freedom will one day die too . No one lives on earth forever!"
See Iyierioba's post: "Iyierioba, Nnamdi obi, Ikukudike,Somtoo we are alive but not okay."

Politics › Biafra: Tension In Enugu As Suspected IPOB Members Set Mosque Ablaze (PHOTOS) by Michael004(op): 5:17pm On Sep 18, 2017
According to reports by DAILY POST, some suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), allegedly set a mosque ablaze in Enugu State.
This is coming after the Defense Headquarters labeled the group as a terrorist organisation, as well as reports that claims their leader, Nnamdi Kanu has gone into hiding.

Read the full report from DAILY POST Below;

Daily Post reports that the incident, which occurred at Ogrute, the capital of Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area of Enugu State, has thrown the residents into panic.

One of the Muslim faithful, who contacted our correspondent from the area said the attack was carried out early Saturday morning.

“I was sleeping in my house when I started hearing some explosive sounds. I reside very close to the mosque.

“As I rushed out, I saw thick smoke billowing from the mosque. The fire was too much; it was burning from every corner of the mosque,” he said.

Asked whether the inferno could have been from power surge, he retorted: “nothing like power surge in this matter. The entire local government has no light for several months now.

“There has been a problem between the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company, EEDC and Ikem community in Isi-Uzo, and this has disrupted power supply for several months. Prior to that, we don’t even light here; we were cut off as we couldn’t pay high electricity bill.

“We have the belief that it was carried out by IPOB supporters because they have done similar thing in other parts of the South-East since their confrontation with the Nigerian Military began last Monday.”

Meanwhile, the Chief Imam of the Mosque, who confirmed the incident to DAILY POST, lamented that, “we lost all our items to this unprovoked attack.

“From our observation, they brought everything together, including our garments, Holy book, generators, and made sure they all burnt to ashes together with the mosque.

“This is so strange and provocative as we were not having problem with anybody prior to this incident. I’m from this community, just like so many of my members.

“We have been living together with our people peacefully. So, this attack is something we cannot explain.”

While lamenting that their lives were now at stake, they called on the Enugu State Government and the security agencies to intervene.

Also confirming the incident, the Police Police Relations Officer of the Enugu State Police Command, SP Ebere Amaraizu told DAILY POST that “it is true that there was an incident. It occurred around 2am.

“But for now, we are working to reveal identities of those behind the attack. We cannot categorically say that it’s Mr A or B.

“We are one, regardless of religious background and people must stop taking laws into their hands.

“The situation is under control, our men are on ground to maintain law and order.”

DAILY POST equally learnt that Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has visited the area.

Ugwuanyi donated the sum of N1million for rebuilding of the mosque.

It was Igbos that beheaded Gideon Akaluka in 1995 and Gloria in the North and not your peaceful Hausa Saints. It was Igbos that have been bombing churches and killing people unprovoked in the North and not your Hausa Saints. The list continues and Igbos have lost over 3000 people in the North from 2011 to 2015 with properties destroyed but never retaliated yet hypocrite like you does not see and appreciate it.

Politics › Re: Is Igbo Really Marginalized? Let’s Discuss by Michael004: 9:48am On Sep 18, 2017
LoudNdclear:
In my opinion the ibos have been marginalised for too long, I am not talking about nothing producing a president or vice for the past 50years.

First I am talking about the inhuman treatment melted on the average ibo man, in the area of sme for instance, those of us running such enterprise see the "ibo man" as your one and only competitor, thus we hear words like "wetin u no fit try for onitsha or aba no try am for Here" or "if you give them chance they go carry your customer" this leads to hatred in the long run.

Secondly An average ibo man is seen as an orphan especially in the northern part of the country, over the years the northerners and the ibos have been at loggerheads.... about 2 or 3 years ago in kaduna state, i unfortunately witnessed a bloody massacre of the ibos in broad day light, they were killed in bold blood and shops burnt to the ground, till date not one of the perpetrators of such evil act was arrested or prosecuted.

The truth be told, you all know every ibo man in the northern part of the country lives in fear, no one should live in fear in his or her own country.

Thirdly Judging from all what I see in this country, I think there is a deliberate attempt to under populate the ibos in the northern part of the country and under develop the south Easter part of the country, this can be seems clearly in the way Aba and Nnewi have been treated, these highly industrious cities could have been the China of Africa if they only they got the support required, but rather the government turned a blind eye to the ingenuity of the people, pay a visit to these cities and you will shocked at how under developed it is, not even a single airport in these cities, yet some cities with zero commercial activities have an international airport...........

How much more suffering do you want them to endure before they clamour for a change?

NB- I am not an an ibo man, and I see nothing wrong in calling for a referendum but not the way Nnamdi Kanu is going about it....
Can you name the cities with zero commercial activities that have international airport you claimed?

This is an opportunity for you to bring forth you arguement.

As at the time of civil war, igbo had 2 presidents. Hausa has none, Yoruba has none, Fulani has none. Can we say igbo are marginalizing them at that period?

If not, why is igbo claiming marginalization simply because other tribes are simply being represented as igbo had been represented?

This is an open discussion.

Feel free to bring forth your arguement. You are most welcome. One love
Fantastic question.
