He said they paid tithe of mint, anise and cummin. They were already doing it. It was their decision.

And then he did not ask them to stop.

Years earlier God had already declared that we bring all the tithes into the storehouse

Oga Jesus clearly said that they ought to have paid ye tithe of mint and rue and all manner of herbs.....he did not say it was their sole decision to make.....so why are you not paying tithe of mint and rue and all manner of herbs?

The bolded is clear enough. Jesus was addressing the fact that they were faithful in tithing and not that they should pay tithe of only mint, anise and cummin - the sole decision of the Pharisees and Scribes.
