So many submissions under the Old Testament are not true in the light of the New Revelation Jesus brought. For instance Job said;

By this statement, Job is saying that whatever happens, good or bad, God is responsible. But our Lord Jesus said;

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

The passage above reveals that the thief who is obviously the devil is the one responsible for the evils that happens around us and to us.

James also wrote;

So, if a loved one dies, God is not responsible. It's the devil. But Job's writing makes it look as though it was God. And so many preachers have used this verse in error to console families who lost someone
