Hello,  I am from Germany, and so I am not quite skilled in the various genres of African, here especially Nigerian music. So, please help me if you are able and disposed to:
How can one categorize the music, in this case especially the album "Unchained", of Sunny Neji?

And how can one categorize the music, in this case especially the album "Heartcry", of Modele?

And Tosin Martins with the album "Happy Day"?

Thank you for your help!

Ah, I now found the text of "Last nite" here in an extra topic, But I shall add it as well to our collection, Unfortunately, it does not grow fast,

Well, as I am German, I would really be happy if anyone could translate the passages which are in Igbo (or what is it?) into English. Thank you

P-Square - Last Nite

So did you watch soccer this evening? Are you sad now?? I wanted Ghana to win the match. I don't like Brazil always winning. They should not win the cup again.
Nairaland / General / Re: Teach me a Dialect! by Michaela(f): 8:31pm On Jun 27, 2006

Nairaland / General / Re: Teach me a Dialect! by Michaela(f): 4:18pm On Jun 27, 2006
Ok, let's think of other languages. What is missing?

A little bit of portuguese:

Falas português? - Do you speak portuguese?
bom dia! - good morning/ hello! (said till 12 am)
boa tarde! - hello! (said from 12 am till 6 pm)
boa noite! - good evening! (said from 6 pm till night)
Eu te amo! - I love you!
Como estás? - How are you doing?
Nairaland / General / Re: Teach me a Dialect! by Michaela(f): 10:09pm On Jun 26, 2006
@Rhodalyn: Yes, this is the translation. But it is wrong, wink Germany is going to win the world cup!! hihih,

@Jalal: Yes, I was absent for a longer time. It always takes much time to stay on this site. Once I start to read a topic, it has caught me and I spend hours here. You know this wink
But when one is absent for a longer time then it even takes more time to read all the new topics and the new messages of the topics one had missed.

Sometimes I wonder why some people don't read the headline of the topic,
In some posts people list also male artistes, furthermore some people list singers who don't sing R&B.

I just wanted to mention that.

And do you think Blu is into Music only?

She once made erotic photos, abi? What else? I don't know.
Music/Radio / Re: Who Are The Richest Female Artistes? by Michaela(f): 10:39pm On Apr 30, 2006
Madonna is the richest female artist!!! Remember how long she has been in the business!!! And remember that she writes her songs and produces them all herself!! I like many female artists, and there are many who are very, very rich, but MADONNA is the richest!!!
And, come on, who is "Blu Cantrell" in comparison to all those female artistes who are in the business for many years??!!!! Nothing against her, but please be serious, how many songs has she sung so far How many copies has she sold so far Which other hits has she had except "Breathe" ft. Sean Paul and "Hit 'em up style" ??
Besides, Madonna is the producer of Alanis Morisette.

Nairaland / General / Re: Did You Miss Nairaland's Private Messages(pm) ? by Michaela(f): 9:42pm On Mar 21, 2006
I missed them, too. I am still missing them. Ok, we can contact someone writing an email to him/her. But some people don't reveal their address in their profile. That is a pity. PM were a fast, uncomplicated way to contact somebody.
