Hello, please I did not show my certifications nor did I show how I’d pay for the second year. Is that an issue? |

Thanks For some schools it’s not. Just start by looking at schools based on your preference. Ie tuition cost or location or living expense. And most importantly, for schools that are still admitting for the fall |

Hello everyone,
I’ve been following and I just submitted my application via the online route.
Please pray for me and add me to the hopefuls. I can share what I submitted with anyone who cares to know.
Please when will they call me for biometrics and how long do we think it will take before they get back to me?
Thank you! |

Hi Everyone,
Please I’d appreciate if my questions are actually answered.
Thanks guys
My uncle works with the government as a deputy director in an agency but doesn’t have any savings. I have about 12 million to Use but wanted to add him as a co sponsor, what do I do?
Also.. is it wise to buy land to use a proof of ties and if yes.. must it have a C of O.
Lastly please, must my sponsor be resident in Nigeria?
Thank you!
Mike. |

Evening everyone ,
Please the landed documents that are presented. Must it be the C of O and does the value and location matter? Because I was thinking of just buying a cheap one to show them. Kindly advice. |

Sorry guys..
A few more questions..
If i use the online route and submit this month, is it advisable to travel out of the country in march/april assuming they haven't requested for the passport.
I am meant to travel around then but don't know the average time for passport request. |

Hi, Congratulations!! Please i want to find out why it took so long though? Youngblood28: Good day pals I have been a silent reader here for a couple of months now. I got my offer letter for fall 2017 sometime in March 2017 and proceeded with an online application( heard it was faster and more convenient) on the 5th of May2017, biometrics was done on the 9th of May2017 and I checked processing, it was about 14weeks then, so I relaxed. Wrote cic a couple of times when resumption was really close and my village people hijacked the mails. I had no choice but to defer the admission to fall 2018, because that is the only slot available. As God will have it, I got a medical call late November and a passport request 29th of Jan 2018. I wasn’t going to post this until I see the visa, but I want to encourage those who have been waiting this long not to give up hope, I pray you cannot wait this long and get a refusal IJN. |

Hello Team!!!
Here again with a few questions please.
1- Is your fiancée a good enough 'Home tie' and how exactly do you prove to them that she is your fiancée (She is currently doing her masters in a Nigerian university)? 2- My father is in Nigeria but is not yet 70 so not exactly too old and my daughter is in Europe (Bear in mind that shes not from the fiancée .. SO i am guessing i cannot use them too? Kindly expatiate.. 3- Where can i quickly get cheap land with a C of O lol i need that to also add.. As i am self sponsoring, i need these to show. 4- VERY Important.. Should i use the online method or paper! I am not sure how much documents i will submit just yet. Which has proven more effective?
Thank you!! |

Hello, It is for 2 years. Fee is 11,000 CAD I want to self sponsor. Thank you. mcobex: You didn't tell the house how much your tuition is and the duration of your program . Also if you intend sponsoring yourself or you have a sponsor? Answer those questions to give the house a clearer picture of the situation |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by MichyEhi: 6:20pm On Feb 01, 2018 |
Hello, Please note that it is not my company. I just have my money invested with them. Will that suffice. Please it is open to the whole house. Frankrobbn1: Hello MichyEhi, Please be guided that Canadian embassy don't regard Company bank statement as proof of funds towards an applicant. The Visa officer knows that no company will spend her funds meant for the maintenance and upkeep/expense of the company to sponsor an applicant abroad. What have you done for the company to deserve such benefit? How long have you worked for the company that they decide to sponsor you? You can only include company bank statement to support your application, not as the principal proof of funds. So re-strategies and make sure more funds are readily available in your name or in your sponsor personal savings.
All the best! |

Good morning guys.. Please any update on this?? Thank you!! MichyEhi: Evening guys,
So my 11 mil for application is broken down like this..
2 mil in my bank account 2 mil in a money market fund with ARM And 8 mil with a company called Abuja Leasing Company.
Is this sufficient? Or should the money be moved around differently? |

Thank you for this. It would have drastically reduced my funds. Should i use the paper or the online route? I am very inquisitive, pardon me. andre99: Do not use Maple.
You'll get all the necessary info on this forum. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by MichyEhi: 1:34am On Jan 27, 2018 |
Thank you very much!! My younger bro is in the UK though and i doubt that would suffice. Please what is the IMM form and do you advice me to use Maple because that is what most people have told me? andre99: You have good resources to self sponsor yourself and get your TRV. I'll suggest you make the payment for your 1st year tuition to convince the visa officer you are truly going to study and make available $10,000 CAD living expenses for the 1st year in your statement of account. You can use the $5,000 CAD scholarship as the other funds when filling the IMM form.
As for the home ties, you can add your siblings birth certificate and also include your parents biodata passport page. If you are working, include your employment letter and draft a good SOP saying you are returning back to work when you are done with your studies. Get a letter of introduction/reference from your place of work, also include your pay stubs/slips (4-6months). Also include any paperwork regarding the investment you said you have. All these serves as good home ties.
You also use a co-sponsor that has at least 3m in the account just to show the Visa officer you have funds for the subsequent year of study.
If you can gather all these, you'll have successfully proof to the visa officer you are a genuine student and your TRV awaits you.
Best of luck buddy..... |
