BREAKDOWN ON HOW TO CHECK IF YOUR INFORMATION HAS BEEN CORRECTLY UPLOADED ON NYSC PORTAL FOR ALL 2017 PCMs.
The procedure on how to check if your status has been correctly uploaded on NYSC portal is very simple and it does not require any token from you. The only thing that is required of you is just for you to enter your documents correctly in the space provided.

To do this, I had broken them into different steps in order to make it easier for anybody to undertake. They're as follows;

Step 1: Log on to www.nysc.org.ng

Step2: On the page, you will see the option that says important information. Here, you will see several other options like;

Visit the Main Site for information
Biometrics Instructions
Accredited Institutions/Programmes
F.A.Qs
Check Senate List or its equivalents
Registration Support Phone Numbers

Click on the option that says 'Check Senate List or its equivalents'

Step 3: Another environment will display. On that page that displays, do the following;
1. Navigate to your institution
2. Enter your matriculation number or reg. number
3. Enter your surname
4 Select your date of birth
5. Then, lastly, Click on the search button and wait for the result that will display.

JAMB PIN VENDING PROCEDURES AND LISTS OF AUTHORIZED BANKS FOR SALES OF 2017 UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION [UTME] FORMS.
The Joint Admissions And Matriculation Board [JAMB] on its twitter page say that 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations [UTME] registration payment platform is through PIN VENDING and NOT by REMITTA.

The notice as published on the board twitter handle is as given below;
The payment platform for UTME Registration is through PIN vending. Not Remitta. Please do not pay through Remitta.

It would be recalled that last year, 2016, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it will adopt “pin vending” for the 2017 UTME test, advising intending candidates to get familiar with the new approach.

The Examination Board has also listed few banks authorized for the pin vending, they include:

National Youth Service Corps [NYSC] Distribution Of Callup Letters For Foreign Trained Prospective Corps Members [PCMs].
1. Only prospective corps members who want their call-up numbers sent to them through SMS and wish to PRINT their call-up letters on-line are expected to pay the sum of Three Thousand Naira (N3,000.00) (see NYSC Portal on how to make payment).

2. Foreign trained prospective corps members who did not pay during Online Registration are to collect their Call-up letters at the NYSC Headquaters Abuja.

3. Foreign trained prospective Corps members are to ensure that they personally collect their Call-up letters on presentation of their International traveling Passport, and other relevant documents and not by proxies.

Guys, having in our previous post explained categorically the basic requirements for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration and also made mentioned in that post that the registration fee for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination or Direct Entry is Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000) only and that candidates are also, as usual, expected to pay Five Hundred Naira (₦500) only to obtain the reading text- 'In Dependence' for UTME candidates and ''The Last Days at Forcados High School'' for Direct Entry Candidates, today, we are going to take a look at the various steps which are required of every prospective candidate for the 2017 registration and the various vital application documents required for the registration. vi. The CBT centre or JAMB State Office, supplies, at no extra cost, the prescribed reading text and the CD containing:

a) e-brochure showing guidelines on admission detailing list of tertiary institutions and available programmes of study.

b) Syllabus (e-syllabus) for the examination.

c) Step by step guide on completing the application form.

d) A video messages from the Registrar of JAMB and a demo on how to use eight ( keys for UTME examination without a mouse. (For candidates with little familiarity with Computers).

ix. O/L and/or A/L grades are to be provided by candidates. Candidates who are awaiting result should supply the result online as so as the results are available on Jamb's portal. No recommendation from any institution will be considered by JAMB if candidates has not supplied his/her O/L results on the portal of JAMB.

x. Each Candidate is to collect his e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration. There will be no offline registration, as all the accredited CBT centres have been empowered for real life online registration.

No candidate should register at any centre other than the accredited CBT centre and JAMB State office. Any candidate who is registered outside approved centres will be identified and disqualified.

1. We will stop the growth of confirmed Mavros acquired before the 1st of January 2017.
2. We will freeze the bonuses received before the 1st of January 2017 (so that limited withdrawal of Mavro-2016 will include only contributions, not bonuses).
3. We will introduce a new rule according to which the withdrawal amount cannot exceed triple amount of the provided help (so, GH cannot exceed PH more than in 3 times). Many participants and guiders withdraw bonuses in such big amounts without PH that it threatens the stability of the whole System. (We don’t agree, however, we will accept preferences of the majority. :-)) With this rule, you can’t withdraw only bonuses without providing help.

Therefore, keep on sending us your suggestions. We will take them into account (At least, we will try :-))

According to the information on the official TWITTER page of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Nigeria [url]#NYSCTwitaXplosion[/url], the Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Sulaiman Zakari Kazaure, has been appointed member of the Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Chemical Society of Nigeria.
